they never identify themselves, who they're looking for.....who THEY are...........block

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM 1-905-480-1414 AND TIME WAS 8;04 P.M.. NOW THE SCAMMERS ARE CALLED AT NIGHT. I DON'T THINK THEY LEGALLY ALLOWED TO CALL AT NIGHT. THEY ARE ASKING ABOUT A BILL THAT HAS BEEN LEGALLY PAID OFF. WHEN I GET MY PROOF,I WILL GIVE IT TO A LAWYER SO I CAN '' SUE'' GLOBAL CREDIT FOR EVERYTHING THEY HAVE.

When l get a number on my caller ID and it also said UNKNOWN NAME,l will NEVER pick up. When l did pick up the first time, the woman was THEATENING right from the start. I will have LEGAL PROOF , which l will be happy to give to the police. The people who have called from Global Credit should all join in a CLASS ACTION SUIT against Global Credit. I googled Global Credit and they are located in Florida. Their Canadian site's will NOT open. The site that l opened said that they were created in 1999 and also COPY RIGHT IN 2011 which tell me , something is wrong.

I went on the '' NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST '' and THAT is when this FLIPPING call's started. So '' the do not call list '' doesn't alway's work.........

I PUT MY NUMBER ON THE '' DO NOT CALL '' LIST. THAT IS WHEN THE FLIPPING CALL'S STARTED. THERE ARE PEOPLE/SCAMMERS WHO DON'T GIVE A HELL ABOUT THE LIST, BECAUSE THEY NOW THEY WON'T GET CAUGHT.

It is illegal for collection person to call your family or friend or employer and fellow employee about you.

Just got a call from the number 1-905-480-1414 and she said that she was global credit. Ask about a old account from a year ago. The company that the account is with said the account is paid off, because me and the bank have the LEGAL PROOF showing it. From now on , number answer the phone to these SCAM artist's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some  women who doesnt speak english  very  well, called my work  # 3 times last  week  demanding me to pay  back  scotia  bank  $4500.00. She told me the last  payment  was received in April of  this  year.B***s*** !! I  declared bankruptcy in 2009 and I  never had a scotia  bank  visa larger then $2500.00. She argued and said I  was never  discharged therefor  I  still owe. B***s*** again. I  phoned scotia  bank and told  them  the name of  the  collectors  who  were calling and they  said scotia  has their  won collections agency and these are  not  the  ones and that  I  should ignore them and get  a  hold  of  my  trustee who  I  filed  bankruptcy  with. These people  are not  calling  my  work  any more, instead  they  are calling  my  cell and I  really  dont  know  how they  got  my  cell # it  isnt  even in my  name. Sneaky  b*****ds.

i must have recieved a recycled cell number which the person that had it before has money outstanding that has went to collections

I dated a guy who gave out my number as his contact number for something...and now I get these calls on my unlisted private number several times a week. The recording says "Hello, this is Sal, regarding the unresolved matter on my desk, which you have failed to respond to. if you do NOT reply...blah blah blah ..more threats, call 18772417835 to contact us."

I'm sure it's some kind of debt collector, because the guy has/had bill problems. It's frustrating, because I know I don't have any outstanding bills or debts, and there isn't a person on the call when I pick up.  I'm not calling some collection agency regarding someone else and their debt.  I only dated the guy, it's not like he lived with me or has anything to do with my life...or even in it now, except for these freaking phone calls! It should be against the law to call wrong numbers and harass people like this.

Calling 3 times per week.  Caller ID shows UNKNOWN NAME.  Not for me.  Same story.  Previous holder of this telephone number (from before 1999) is dead.  Why should I have to prove it?  None of my business.  Bell won't help.  Stopped answering.  Apparently this bi*** is up before the Upper Canada Law Society for such dishonest practices but no action.  Lawyers protect their own.

GETTING FREQUENT CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER .... FORTUNATELY ALWAYS MISSING CALLS.... PLZ ADVISE HOW TO AVOID GETTING CALLS FROM THEM....

I don't have nothing to do with a collection company.  We don't understand english and don't Know want you want. So don't call us an other Time.   By the law THEY have  legally no right to call like that. Want Stop that RIGHT NOW..

Call Many Time, hearly in the morning, speak english only and too fast, we don't understand what they want... Because we speak french. Don't have nothing to do with a collection company.

I have faxed them, I have answered their calls and told them no one lived here they were looking for I am even receiving mail from Global for the person they are looking for. they do not stop. very annoying and when you do answer no one there you have to leave a message.

Don't fall for these guys or anyone who posts here encouraging you to deal with them.  If they are legit, the MUST identify that they are a collection agency and can't just get away with "Global" - I love bugging them that it must be Global Television calling!  LOL
If they leave a message or speak to anyone who answers, they by law, cannot call again for 3 days, but they do.
F*CK these lowlifes - people getting paid min. wage to bug people who are struggling or just bug for a value of $100 like someone else said.
Besides, the account they are trying to say that is owing over $4k, was paid off back in October 2008 to the original company so I don't know how they even get this sort of info.  Wouldn't be surprised if they get it when some of our personal info is mishandled by the banks and then start scamming.
I hit a Dollar Store for an airhorn and just give 'em a blast right in the mouthpiece a few times.  Takes them a LONG while to start bugging you again after that!  ROFL

This time, the person/recording said that they were "Sal" calling to discuss the non-existant "matter". It is the first time they have ever used a name when leaving a voicemail.

We've been getting harassing calls from these people in the past few days. We never answer numbers we don't know, so it went to the answering machine. I think it is an automated message, we've recieved two identical copies two days in a row. It is a man's voice saying "Hello, there's a situation in my office that requires your immediate attention. We've been reviewing this matter [sound of flipping pages], and there is a small window of opportunity to capitalise on this pending issue. It's imperative that you return the call immediately so we can give you the best [unintelligable word] solution and get this matter rectified. You need to return this call at 1-877-241-7835. [sound of flipping pages]." Nobody in the household has been reviewing any matter with anyone, and as far as I know, we have no debt. The voice is threatening and demanding.

They call at least 5-6 times a day, for the last couple months, before them another company called, you could hear kids playing video games, WTF , by the looks they are busy with a lot of people, wonder how much these guys get paid.

repeated unsolicited automated calls almost daily. 2-day the called @ 7:15am.  I will NEVER speak to or do as a Machine directs. Somebody wants to talk to me...... pick-up the phone and dial the number. People that work like this are not people of conscience or respect, they are low lifw bottom dwellers that have no honor.

Damn automated systrems. If a PERSON called, I would speak w/them, no problem. I'll pretty bloody good GD'd if I'll ever talk to or do what a fraking machine say's

repeated and unsolicited phone calls from an automated system that does not either identify itself or its purpose. Such calls, (sometimes 4-times a day) by a machine are uncalled for and consitute Harrasment. I am under ( and no one else is that I know of) any legal obligation to address, provide information or respond to phones calls originating from a computer driven system.

When I told this women she had the wrong number she kept yelling at me, telling me she clearly did not have the wrong number.  Would not stop yelling at me.  Called 4 times.  She was asking for Dan same as other person reported below.

This number calls me 4 times a day, asking for someone who does not live here. I've tried getting a hold of them with the number they use to call me, and two numbers on their website but I can never get through. I either get disconnected right away, or I'm told to leave a message for an inbox that is full.

Keep calling for wrong person, already advised to cease and desist, but keep calling.
