1 923 477 998685 is the number i got the call from a couple of minutes ago saying i have won 50,000 in ford's lucky draw and he was talking in hindi to me.. I immediTly knew it was a scam.. I told him i knew what this is all abt he said this lucky draw is real n is carried out n europian and american countries.. I told i dun want the price he said they will tell ford that i dun need my price n will not call me again.. Hehehe funny enough he even claimed that it was announced on tv aswell.. Should i be reporting this to amyone if so who since i m new n canada.

Its a scam, timeshare!! i myself was a timeshare agent, they are screwing peoples. and all peoples which are saying that they won a f****ng prize are f****ng decoys, they are either these call center owners or they are call center agents. f*** you b*****ds.

I got the same call and I'm reviewing the comments. People say they are scammers but how do you know if you never actually went to collect the prize? How do you know the call was fake?

Its a big scam, they are trying to sell membership for discounts, they are a discount club. Their membership is about 9000 for lowest package.

i went to the meeting it was hardcore selling, they had us there for 3 hrs.
the only prize they have is 7 nights at a hotel in florida, you have to pay admin fee and its only for accomodation.

i told the guy that was doing the presentation that its mislead and they are wasting peoples time. he told me they have to do it like that because people wont come to presentations if they know what it is about.

Dnt go waste OF time, wish someone told me before.

Hi, first of all I wanna thank you all for the info they call me today with the same story when I told them that my wife I were under 25 he said to lie in the form that I was going to to fill up and bring them some Ids without birth date like credit cards they set up an appointmet for 6:30 ****them I'll make them wait, thank you all once again and keep your eyes wide open this kind of crooks are all over the place, peace!

They called several times that I won 1 of the 3 of their prizes; and I don't know how I won one of them

got called by these same guys tonight, definitaly brown man siting at other end. he told me i won 5 prizes, 1 tv set, $1000 and 3 differnet vacation with $500 cash to spend... asked him what company and he said canadian gift centre,
told me i had to show up to and address,so i asked him, all i had to do was show up and get the prizes. He said then that i had to show up with my wife and that there would be a special presentation for the prize. I basicly said no thanks and please give my gift to someone. i hung up my phone and within 30 sec's he called back and called me an a**hole for wasting 6 mins of his time... so i called him a cutochaud = dog F888er in hindi. lol he then hung up on me... yea its a scam people, no one gives you something for free...

Hey i got a similar call and the varifyind dept manager Mr Steven Obrian told me about me qualifying for 5 packages and his Operations manager Mr Dino Romero told me how i have to be there with my spouse and gave me my Code they were actually very polite and when i showed up their i had to sit for like hour and a half i enjoyed what i was served on my table to eat and then i recieved a prize i am actually very impressed with their services I dont understand why People have narrative information about them. I suggest every1 to go and see it for their self instead of passing out negative comments.

I don't have caller ID on my telephone, so I can't confirm the telephone number, however the story was the same. I ended up telling the guy to give someone else my "prize," said good evening and hung up.

#1 the english is VERY broken, like the people that called you
#2  most of them are written in CAPS
and #3 they are written back to back on the SAME DAY!!! (2 on march 27, and 2 on april 2 there was also another suspicious one on april 4th just 2 days later)

this tells me that they know about this and they are faking these comments

I belive that we live in a society where a community has to come together and protect one another, so please if you can take some time to report this to the York Regional Police, we can finally put an end to this and future scams

They called me and said that they were from Toshiba Electronics Promotions or something like that... I wonder if Toshiba knows that they are using their name?

When they called me I told them that they did not have the right to call me because I am on the Do-not-call list. They said "Oh, we are not telemarketers," which of course they are (of the worst kind). I am definitely reporting them and I urge everyone else to do the same. Just be sure to get as much information as possible from them.

They called me as well. I googled it once I got their address. Its funny how everyone's accounts of the experience are the same. I bailed and said I dont drive so im not going. Damn scammers. This time they said the company was BRG. But the same address in Woodbridge as the rest.

i recived a call from canadian gifting center.....the guy name was sean ricardo fluent speaker with pleasure nature told me that i m selected for the five grand prizes by the ballot which i filled out in canadian tyre...i remembered filled out a ballot but i asked about the CATCH.....?he explained me vry nicely the bottam line iz that making a future possible customerz by giving the give aways.....same address 216 chrislea.....i won a alaskan cruise trip.....not a bad time over there i enjoyed the dinner az well with my wife.....

I got a call from someone with a heavy (Indian?) accent claiming to be phoning from new york, for the Consumer Awards Center, offering 5 gifts as a prize etc.,and when I asked for their number, he gave a false Toronto phone number, 416 800 0797, which belongs to another company.  Then  the manager, "Brad Peter' (who could not pronounce his "own" name, "Brad" correctly- and had an unrecognizable accent)got on the phone, and tried to arrange a meeting. We're absolutely not going. I looked at the above comments and suspect that the positive ones are from the company itself, trying to deflect the negative reports. A clue might be the fact that none of their employees can speak English effectively, and  the "positive' views of this company (above)  also contain numerous grammatical and spelling errors.  
I tried to get the last caller id from bell but the number is blocked.

I got a call from them, and attended their meeting.  I was told that even if I do not like my prize, they would buy it from me.  First time I said my husband is not able to come for weekdays.  They were teaching me to lie about it and say I am single and get the prize.  I did not accept that.  Anyway, if anybody got the same thing e-mail me so we can call someone to stope them. zfayaz8@hotmail.com

I too received a call a few months ago... I didn't give them what they wanted - confirmation of name and address...  They called back a few weeks later.  Again, I asked if it was about a timeshare and they said NO.  I said how are you giving something away for free?  they said that in return they only ask that I use word of mouth advertising for them.  I asked if they had a website - no confirmation on this... I said how would others get in contact with them if there is no website and phone number... no answer. Put over to manager who asked for name confirmation and address confirmation and would not give out any information until I did that!  Hung up.  Today again, the phone call - luckily my husband answered and he GRILLED them.  He said he wouldn't give out any information until they answered his questions and it was a stalemate!  He got the address Chrislea road, woodbridge and that was it... they denied being a timeshare sales office (haha) and were acting on behalf of a government program giving away free trips!  My husband said that nothing is for free and he was going to research their company... conversation over!  BEWARE!!

Got a call saying the same thing that i won something five prizes and go to chrislea avenue, i am over 30 etc etc. They gave me a number to call back when i told them i was not sure.905-695-9040

This guy called me tonight and I answered his questions and when I told him I was single (a lie) he asked me what I was doing in Canada without a girlfriend and hung up.  I'm gay.  I feel like showing up tomorrow at 6:40pm to wreak havoc.

When you get these calls, tell the guy you want to record the call so that you don't miss out on any important information. That might get rid of them.

I also got a call from them, they changed their name from TVS to Canadian Value Solutions. They said we won a free trip. We could pick from 5.  Vegas was one of them. We only had to pay the taxes everything else was free. The flight and hotel. Also if we arrived early, we could pick from either 2 free Manadarin Dinner and 2 free movie passes OR hotel accommodations for Niagara Falls. All Free, if we just attending the free dinner. I do not know how many times she said it was all FREE..just when we took the Vegas trip we were responsible for the taxes.  So we went to the dinner. After the sales pitch..starting at $18,000 for 49,000 points for the Travel club membership and also 499.00 processing fee... we told them no thanks..and other people came over offering us smaller ones for less money..all included the 499.00 processing fee.  We told them no thanks and we went to get our FREE gifts. Well the gifts are letters that we have to mail into the company, the same company, with a cheque or money order for 19.95 processing fee for Vegas and also another cheque or money order for 19.95 for the Free movie passes and Manadrian passes.  How can they tell us this is FREE when we have to pay 40.00 to get them??????? they make 40.00 off everyone that goes there to get the free prizes that they "won".

I received the same phone call saying that I won 1ofthe 5 prizes.  Iam sur i did not fill out any coupon. In december 2009 i was home taking care of my new born.  Not in malls!  Once i told him i was new in the country and that my husband an i ere just srttling down and we did not work and we did not have income he hung up.
