number called our landline 3 times in the past week, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.  no message left. Research showed it belongs to a tele-marketing company out of Hamilton.  just ignore.

Called looking for my wife ... When I asked if there was a message ... They said they would call back ... How do telemarketers get private  phone numbers ?

To who ever the boss is I just found out some news from a text message from a married man one of ur co workers that quit im not saying names you sending her text messages saying how much you like her and that you had dreams about her and cant get enough of her eyes and how stunning she is mean while ur married and you said sorry for getting her involved well I think that is so messed up I read all the text messages im going to feel so bad for ur wife you should maybe tell her the girl that worked there is 21 and quit working there I think last week groos hiting on a co worker and also give each other ur numbers and be texting each other f****d up and id send him a message but the email was wrong mean while the girl is my ex girlfriend and she sent me every single text they had hope ur wife finds out

Ok so from what I've read, you're all a bunch of morons. Yes, it is Mystique Event Marketing calling you. It's based out of Hamilton, Ontario. They are NOT a charity. They are a 3rd party company hired by real charities to raise funds by hosting events.

For those of you that think they are a scam, you are WRONG. They have many different events going on for different charities. They handle charities such as: Help A Child Smile Foundation; Camp Maple Leaf; The Law Enforcement Torch Run; etc.. They host such events as: Rodeos; NHL Alumni Hockey Games; Magic Shows (Greg Frewin); etc..

I understand that every now and then you will come across a rude caller, but don't hold that against the company. All of their callers are monitored by someone who listens to their calls. The rude ones don't usually stay employed long.

As for the person who said that the CRTC "do no call list" does not apply because they are a charity, you are wrong. The rules apply to their call centre because they are NOT a charity, they are a 3rd party company. I can tell you for a fact that they do indeed have a "do not call list", though you have to ask nicely, or they will most likely keep you on the rotation. I have seen that first hand, as I use to work there. Also, if you are put on the dnc list, it will only apply to that particular event. They will unfortunately still call you for their other events.

If you want to attend one of their events but are not sure that the charity itself is legit, just ask for the supervisor/manager and they will be able to give you the charity's registration number. Only the supervisors/managers have that information.

For the record, I left that company because one of the supervisors was harassing myself and others. But eventhough that happened, I will still stand by the company itself. I was given the chance to experience some of their events first hand and witnessed the happiness it brought the children that were sponsored on behalf of many generous people.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number several times a week, at all times of the day or evening, for the past 7 months.  Because I have "Phone Display", and don't recognize the number, I never answer it.  When I AM at home, it usually rings 3 times, then the answering machine comes on, then they hang up without leaving any message.  The strangest part about these calls is that, only when I am NOT at home, a very immature message is left on my answering machine which consists of sort-of hollering my first name!!  How do they know whether I am at home or not?!?!  And how do they know my first name?!?!  And why do they NEVER holler my husband's name?!?!  I must warn the callers who are using this Telemarketer phone number that I WILL definitely be presenting this complaint to the Ontaio Provincial Police, since I work with several OPP Policing Committees!!  I am fully aware of most methods used in scams and, believe me, they are not pretty!!

Called at 12:30pm today and asked for my hubby.  When I said he wasn't in, the man hung up on me.

He hung up before I could even say she was not available.  Very rude.  I was unable to call back for  confirmation.  There is no number that is 905-521-0048

Found out that it is a marketing company who tries to sell tickets to events in your area to help raise funds for children who are ill and unfortunate! I have actually bought tickets from them on a few occasions but out of there Welland Office!

I finally spoke to a supervisor, having twice asked be to taken off their call list. I suggested that they were in violation of the Canadian Do Not Call Registry. He told me that, as they are acting for a registered charity, the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics, they are not bound by the registry. However, that charity is not listed on the CRA site as a registered charity. I filed a formal complaint with the Registry. I suggest everyone do the same.

I keep getting a call from unkown caller.  Happened to be home, person could not pronounce my name which is not difficult. I hung up, later that evening another call.
I told them to stop calling.  Two minutes a call came in from 905 521 0048, told them to f   k off, they have not called back.  It is really bad when you have to get upset in your own home by people who

Funny,  their lists must be really old.  They asked for someone who had our phone number 12 years ago.

The number has appeared twice on my call display....thought it may be a client.  Tried to call back. Bell advises number out of service.  Last call was 1 1/2 prior to my recalling number??

This number calls at all hours, I never pick up.  I have call display and when the number comes up but "unknown" name, I figure they are hiding it for a reason.  I just tried calling the number and like others stated it says the number is not in service.  How can they use a number which is not in service?  Again, if someone is trying to hide something, it sounds like a good thing to stay away from them.

I don't generally mind these calls, but I don't tollerate arrogance and rudeness from anyone, particularly since they want something from me.   Got a call from them today - asking if I would like to quicken the paying process and put it through my credit card - this for tickets I did not commit to and he's insisting I did and that they cannot be cancelled ! , or if I didn't my husband must have and when can he call him back, as if I don't know my husband's nature, or state of affairs.   I told him calmly that it must be a mistake - neither of us would have committed to any charities in the past few months since I lost my job in July and we have financial committments within the family, helping destitute parents abroad.  He assured me, offensively, that  "WE DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES", suggesting I am lying, and impatiently hung up.  I tried calling on various numbers but only got through to answering services.

Received a call around 6:00 PM., my husband answered and they asked for me by my first name, I said to my husband, ask who it is, as I am eating.  My husband, said "who is this"  no answer, then they hung up.
I dailed *67 then 1-905-521-0048 and it could not be directed  message reads" phone disconnected".
I looked on google for advice on tracing a phone number, steps I took:-
Went to Bell, reverse phone number, typed in number "not listed".
Dialed *69, then the number, again "this number is not in service".
I really believed that calls from a code such as 905, would be legitimate.  For others who are wondering, view comments on this phone number:-
