They called and said they where with the police charity fund. Seems that our anti-scam dept. can't do there jobs, looking at the dates of the first complain. Just hang up and don't give them any info. Report them but i think it's a waste of time to do it since there still doing it for so many years.

I receive phone calls from this number everyday. When I answer, I can hear someone speaking in the background but no one actually answers. They even call late at night

This number just called a few minutes ago (8:57 P.M.) and asked for my wife by name. I told him that she was not home, and he just hung up rudely, without any further word.

I firmly believe that regulations should be in place to prohibit ANY commercial company/agency from calling residents - EVER. If we need something, WE will first do our research and then call THEM. To me, it's the same as an uninvited intrusion into our private home, and should be treated as a form of trespass.

Why hasn't this company been shut down? Where can we report this number and have them investigated for fraud?

The first call they stated they were my local police force calling for the sick children charity..which
apparently "I gave the year before. "  
I asked that they did not call me send me something in the mail. I did not receive anything in  the mail.  
They have continued to call.  Asking me to give my credit card number stating. "Lets settle this up now"
They also stated I said I would give them 30$.  I did not.  They call every day even though I have told them I am disabled
it is hard for me to get to the phone.
In calling their number back requesting to be removed from their calling list one gets that a auto message stating
they are your local charity!  ?   ?  or a message stating about some Caledon horse race tickets and gate information.

This number calls my home daily. Sometimes twice a day. Then no calls for a week, then sadly they begin again. I have even gotten calls at 10 at night and 9am Sunday morning. From what I've been told, they aren't allowed to call after 9pm nor any time on a Sunday.  I have no idea who it is as when I did answer they didn't say anything. Likely a robocall as I didn't hear anyone or any background noise. Now I let the answering machine get the calls but the caller never leaves a message. Thankfully I have call display. When I get a suspicious call it goes on my contact list in my phone as "telemarketer" plus a #. I'm up to Telemarketer #16 and have run out of storage room on my phone. I also have a whole list of additional suspicious #'s written down that I refer to before answering an unfamiliar #.

This number called my work cell phone. An automated message was left on my voicemail asking if myself or anyone in my household was interested in delivering papers in the early morning.....

Seriously? I don't know of any other employer who's allowed to solicit employees by telephone.

received a phone call from this number, 4:20 in the afternoon, they asked for me and was told no and they hung up.  I don't like pranks or scammers.

A man called asking for my husband from this number.  When I said; "he wasn't home and could I take a message" he hung up.

This was Bell Canada calling disgruntled former customers of theirs. When Bell subscribers leave, Bell gets upset and has quack callers harassing you.

Asked for people by their last names.  When told they were unavailable and did they want a message taken, the caller said no and hung up.

Funny just got a call the guy did his spiel about old timer vs cops said the boys in blue have not won in over 20 years then asked me to come down and play right wing then hung up lol but annoying too as that number has called several times this is the first time they said anything.

DNC call lists and the anti-fraud websites are a joke..... Almost a year later this number is still making calls.

Never give money to charities or anyone else over the phone unless it is a call that you have initiated - would like for this type of call to be avoided, but there will always be scam artists out there looking for the easy money. DNC lists are a joke.

These people have called several times,asking for my husband by his first name.Then when they are asked whom is calling they will not answer OR they rudely hang up in my ear.Now they have women calling asking for my husband,again by his first name and not answering when I ask who it is. I understand they are a charity looking for money,but doing it this way does not help..WE will not give money to such a rude charity.I did call back on the number and left them a message to be removed from the list and if they did not stop we would see it as harassment.By the way my husband does know of my actions.

VERY RUDE CALLER

This # called, he said that his name is Don MacMillan with the Maple Leafs Kids Camp. He wanted a donation to send a child to camp and that I had donated 2 years ago. When I apologized for not remembering the camp and asked for a website to confirm the information he hung up

When I answered, some guy asked for me by name, I asked who was calling ... he hung up.

Have had several calls from this number, same voice each time. He calls me by Mrs Dornbush, last time said he was with Sudbury Volunteer Fire Department. When I asked what he wanted, he hung up. There is no Sudbury Volunteer Fire Department.

They claim to be calling to raise funds for underpiveledged children and to raise funds to take these kids to some b***s*** charity game between old timer hockey players and police.  B***s***.  I donated and they keep calling to advise that my payment didn't clear when I know it did.  DON'T DONATE!!!

Calls quite often.  Answered twice. Asked for me by name. Then hung up.
