yet again, after calling "Robert" at the Weedman business line 905-561-2259 and having him assure me I'd be taken off of the calling list, I am getting calls from the "other" Weedman number of 905-561-1483 AGAIN!! and they keep hanging up without saying anything...this business has already been on W5 (CBC Investigative reporting program)...I'll be contacting them again and letting them know that Weedman has NOT stopped their harassing ways!

But why should I have to make a long distance phone call to stop these people from calling me

Weedman's up to it again! Call 905-561-2259 and tell them what's going on!  I was being harassed for months til I talked to Robert at this number and he took my number off the list - temporarily it seems, because 2 months later, they're calling again!!

They called earlier in the week and I picked up and straight out told the young lady on the other end that were renting... and therefore have no control over services.
She said she will make a notation next to our number and we shouldn't get any more calls...

... Guess what ? ... yep, went to voice mail and I could here the boiler room of phone calls being made in the background.

Hello to Businesses.... this is what is known as doing things on the cheap

Do yourself a favour, Hire a Sales Person and pay them a living wage (even if seasonal) and you may get more respect from the potential buying public

I have had 137 calls in 60 days not happy. 9055611483. I called to have my number removed in January. Still getting 2 calls every day.

this number - unidentified # 905-561-1483 callls as well as an identified number showing as the Weed Man called at least twice a day over the last 3 weeks or so almost every day including week-ends

NEVER USE THEM ...and tell anyone you know to NEVER USE THEM .. if you see any of your neighbors lawns with the flags, tell them to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

I forgot to ask, did anyone else catch the W5 report last year? It highlighted questionable Weedman business practices, SURPRIZE!! Anyway, after all of the calls I'm getting again lately, I emailed CTV to alert them that Weedman's up to their old tricks again! I guess we'll all see what happens.

After politely telling Weedman to take my number off of their list last year, I've been continually getting calls from 905-561-1483 (5 in the last week), so I called the business number recommended on this site:905-561-2259. "Robert" said Amy no longer works there, but he'd be happy to tell the manager of my complaint and get my number off the list immediately.  I'll let everyone know if/how long that lasts. :)

Weedman has been harassing me - even after I told them to please not call again!  Now this number keeps calling and not saying anything, then hanging up!  I tried calling it back and a recording says "..number is not in service."!

I've been trying to get them to stop calling me for 3 years now, I call there office number and they keep telling there are 2 marketing managers and so on... good luck to whom ever even gave them a phone number, your almost better off changing numbers they have selective memories.

These people are harassing psychos. I used them once, never again. Now they phone me EVERY DAY for months even after I asked them to remove my name from their contact list. And lately their telemarketing company has been calling me. THREE TIMES last night between 4 and 8. FOUR TIMES the day before. Like that's actually going to make me want to do business with them. Duh. Once I had the misfortune to actually talk to the guy on the phone and the moron made a complete hatchet job of my last name before I hung up in disgust. Hey Weedman. Maybe you should change your name to Stalkerlawncare Dudes. Or Complete Bunch of Idiots. If you've got nothing better to do than to take pleasure alienating potential customers, I say hello, maybe you should pack it in. Then the rest of us normal people can conduct our lives without being pissed off at batshit crazy people like you people every day.

They called me at 00:38am!!!!!!

I keep getting calls from them 4-10 times per DAY. Every other time I pick up and they INSTANTLY hang up. It's so annoying

Had 4 calls yesterday between 5:08 pm and 7:30 pm. Have identified # as Telemarketing in my phone address book so at leasrt can just hit end call and not answer to find no one there. Already have 1 call this morning again. How do we stop this irritation?

I received 10 calls between Sept 26 to 28.  We were out of town.  I picked that number up today when they called after I got home and it was The Weed Man on this #.  I cant say how many times they call and I tell to call when my husband is home to deal with them.  They don't listen.  Had a huge argument with the guy about not wanting his service and still he badgered me until I had to hang up.  Will contact and discontinue their service.  Don't need that crap.  Still seething.

Weed Man. I almost wonder if they call to see if you're home so they can come do service without you watching them? Last time I watched Weed Man spray my yard they did a terrible job, so I would understand if they don't want us to see them doing their work.

I get calls from this number and repeated calls from 866-989-0399.
I know the last one and it belongs to the WEEDMAN.
When I used to pick it up, no one would answer.
When I called back that number, I would get a recorded message, "This nimber is no longer in service."
I called their local number 3 times and asked the Manager to stop these calls.
3 times he assured me that he has put a stop to it but I stll get these calls.
Now the first number has statrd and I believe it also belongs to the same company.

This is a Weed man number.  You can contact them at 1-866-989-0399 and have your phone number removed from their list.  I just did it !!

This 905-561-1483 calls 7 to 10 times daily every hour - starts in the afternoon until evening. Never is a live person on the line & when I try calling back - the number does not exist. I just called 905-561-2259 as was suggested in this column by Niagara Resident.    I got in the queue on hold for 10 minutes listened to the WeedMan advert then a "Cathy" picked-up.  I provided my home # and asked to be removed - she did so & said it takes a "couple of days".  I will let you know if it worked.  We live in Flamborough and we cancelled WeedMan last year - Stopped their service in spring 2011 - but according to the CRTC they have the legal right to call me for another 18 months even if I ask to remove my number.  Cogeco charges $4 per month for a Call Block feature for up to 10 #'s.
