Keep getting calls from this number but no messages are left. Somebody is making calls across Canada from this number but do not identify themselves.

i just had this same thing happen.... someone called my house only it showed up as "unknown" caller, so i picked up and heard nothing then a creepy woman's voice saying goodbye..... wtf is this? its freaking me out

7:51 pm -  answer mach. - no msg. left - Ma Bell, shame on you for issuing this scum the means to try and rip off canadians!

Same here in Alberta may 6. Silence then good-bye.

I'm in BC and on may 5th 2010 same thing ..answered call from this number just had a lenghty period of silence then a digital recorded "Goodbye"...weird...recieved this call a couple times this week already

Call received from this number at 7:15 p.m. 30 Apr. 2010.  When I answered, no one at the other end.  I asked who was calling, no reply after asking three times.  Line went dead, so I hung up.  Am getting so sick of this.

I just received a call from this number. When I answered the phone I was greeted with, "Hi S (my first name. You are at 123 Blank St, correct?" I asked who was calling and he said some security company name which was selling wireless security devices. Then asked me to confirm my address again. I refused to and he eventually hung up on me. Very creepy.

Bastards... tried to phone back and got a recorded music session approximately 1 minute long then got disconnected.....

They call me from Ontario ... I don't answer, but I called back and it's VoxCom Security.  

I never answer, but I will next time as a business ... a PRISON!  That might get me off the list!

I have gotten 2 calls today within 3 hours and there is no one on the line and it just hangs up. When I try to call back it says it is long distance and I haven't bothered to try putting 1 in front of it to waste my $$. Hopefully they'll stop calling, so anoying

I filed a complaint with the DNC registry. They just called me tonight. Again, no one on the other end, and it just hangs up. I said they've begun a harrassment campaign to BC phone numbers because of the other posts I' ve seen here. Hopefully they'll be disconnected soon.

Today this number is for a security alarm installation company...a few weeks ago they were offering me a reduced rate on my visa or mastercard.....this number comes up everyday on my call display with no message left

I keep getting called from this number.  I call back and it is busy.  Today I called back and it is home security company.  I am in BC as well.  I am on the DNC list as well.  Can anything be done??

I just received a call as well on my caller id, i'm within BC... seems to call every couple weeks.

Called back and a recorded British sounding lady said it was for a security installation firm and to hold for a sales agent.  Sales agent answered and could not explain why I was called (am on the National DNC list). Asked to escalate to supervisor and asked for their business name and address or business license number.  They refused. Ended up talking to a further supervisor.  After talking to him, he refused to provide 1) A mailing address. 2) A business license number. or 3) What countries they are licensed to do business in.  

I asked #3 because they stated they were Canada's premier home security service.

After 45 min and several conversations where I asked those 3 very simple questions, the asked my intent for this information.  I said that I just wanted to talk to the RCMP and ensure they were a legitimate business and had the appropriate licenses.  They hung up.  Shortly after the number was disconnected.

Got this call, it showed "Ontario." on my Caller ID.  I called it back and it won't go through, no ring, nothing!

Just got a call from the number -- but I'm a screener so I didn't pick up cause I didnt recognize. And I'm in Hamilton, ON.

Called at 8pm, I asked who was calling and was told it was Reliant Security. I asked where they had gotten my number and he just hung up. This was the 3rd time they have called.

recieved a call from 1 905 595 8637 ,i say hello then there is a pause,then i get a recorded voice that say's good-bye. i'd like to talk to these people, and give them a piece of my mind....

They Claimed to be VOXCOM offering a security system, the thing is I used to work for VOXCOM years ago, and I know people who work there.  VOXCOM was located in Edmonton but they were bought by another company and they're now Reliance Protectron so it seemed fishy to me that they would be using VOXCOM as the name

Not to mention the guy was really slow and the whole conversation was very unprofessional.

This number called me a couple times today, 2 times they hung up.  This last time at 7:46pm PST they called and asked for me specifically. Since I did not recognize the number, I said I was the babysitter.  They wouldn't leave a message and the man on the phone got snippity about who I was answering the "XXX's" phone.  He wanted to confirm he had the correct residence.  Sounded fishy to me.  So I called the number back after I hung up, but the call wouldn't go through, it just beeps and beeps... doesn't even ring or anything.

March 5:44 pm.  This Toronto area number called about a home security system.  The female caller had my name.  I told her I have a home security system and asked her to take my name off their call list.  She agreed to do so.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I ask the caller what he was calling about. He says that he was about home security. I replied that I was not interested. He came back and ask me if I have a security system.Then I replied that I was not interested in it. He still kept at me about the securty system, then I hung up on him.After I hung up I tried calling the number to talk to his superviser. It rang and put me to an agent then the line went beep beep and then I hung up.Then I checked thephone book for that company and it said to see the ad under Reliance Protectron security services, I then phone them to talk to their superviser and complain. They said they will call me back.  Still waiting.

had two calls. left no messages. called back,  got a security company offering you a free security system.

Just had a call from this number & whoever it was didn't leave a msg.
