So sick and tired of these solicitation calls. I think it's time we all let the world know... If I haven't invited you to call, you are invading my privacy.
You ignore the Do Not Call list. I have a phone for MY use not yours

Forgot to mention. Told them to take me off their list. So they called from 905-694-6051 instead and did the same thing.

It's National Home Services. The same people who are getting people to sign up for a new energy efficient water heater. They called and said "You were suppose to receive a new water heater back in 2010, and due to a technical difficulty, we couldn't fulfill it. We would like to set up a date to install the new one. Because of this difficulty, we are offering you a $100 cash rebate that will be deposited directly into your account." Funny. The "technical difficulty" was me CANCELLING the contract my husband signed at the door under pressure. And like I would give you my banking information for you to "deposit" my cash back. Beware of who is at your door people, and really listen/hear what they are saying to you!!

I keep getting calls from this number. They leave no message. They seem to be from Missassaga, Brampton area. When I do answer there is no one there. To report these types of numbers to Mother Bell, they will usually do nothing!!!

A call almost everyday, and sometimes many of them. Don't bother to answer.

They called again twice this morning, so my husband answered on the second call. They said they were Just Energy, my husband said no thanks and then hung up. They still had the nerve to call us again once in the afternoon. I wonder what part of "no thanks" the girl didn't understand. Argh!

Had this number call me a fews days over the past few weeks. My wife answered and knows how I feel about these types of energy vompanies. It was justenergy trying to get us to switch our water heater in the name of energy efficiency. They want to send you a contract to review and then they will send a crew out with a new water hearer to replace yuor current one. I asked (trying to be reasonable) to get a copy of the contract and then decide whether to have them come in a install a new water heater. The girl seemed confused because she couldn't send a contact if we hadn't agreed to anything. I said that you could put out a proposal that I could review, coudn't she? She seemed confused and said she would need to speak to her manager. Then she hung up.
Sounds to me that they're just another bunch of energy distributors bottom feeders, if anyone has saved money with these leaches, i'd love to hear from them.

This is Just Energy calling to upgrade your water heater. I've gotten this call about 15 times, no joke. I've answered about half and asked to be taken off the list every single time. I'm so frustrated!

This company is one of the alternate companies to the Public Utilities of a city that supply Gas or electricity. I think if you have signed up with them at some point they are calling their customer list to try and talk you into buying what they say is a more energy efficient hot water heater. Their rate is higher than a city's rental rate but they offer a $100 incentive. If you have a contract with the city to rent one already and do not inform them 30 days in advance in writing it will cost the $100 to break it anyway. The price difference even if there was no cost to breaking a contract would wipe out the $100 in 2 years or less. Unless you have an old hot water heater , 5 plus years it is unlikley it will be more efficient. The city says they all get their heaters from the same suppliers anyway.

12 times in last 4 business days, now getting them almost hourly, no message left.

Again they called today and the fella on the phone was telling me about Kingston area customers having high energy consumtion, he said that they are my provider? They are not. Beware they are trying to scam people. After I informed him about not requiring their service and that I said this before the clown just hung up. Normaly I do not pick up the phone for unkown numbers but somtimes it is fun to mess with the player right back! He he he.
| Dano 2012-11-02 21:40:07 Unknown |
They are a group from Direct Energy. They are trying to get you to let them replace your hot water tank. Another scam in a way since they also inform you on the importance of energy cost's etc. If you're a home owner and rent your hot water tank then you have no worries. Anyways thought this might help.

this number called 4 times yesterday and 4 times today. never leaves a message. I do not answer private calls during business hours with no caller ID. I have not received any voice mails. I called the number back and it mentioned "Customer Service" but did not name the company. I was put on hold for several minutes and then directed to some employee vmail(name sounded like "A. Sharma"), but the company was never identified. If it is a utility company, they should identify themselves. If it is a telemarketing or automatically generated phone call, how do I block it from my cell phone?
