They keep calling my work number.

I feel so bad for all of you. The owner does NOT care about your feelings. She only cares to make money.
she knows that people don't want her to contact them, especially in the late hours of the evening or early hours of the morning. I wish you well and I'm sorry that you are having this problem. This person will not listen. She is just focusing on numbers. If she gets one deal out of bothering hundreds of people she feels it was worth bothering you.  Good luck.

At least it's nice to hear others as annoyed as I am.
I have just submitted a complaint to the CRTC. Presumably the more complaints the better. I am also contacting a lawyer. I agree that we should all keep a record of the calls and the times they come in. They may be useful in a law suit.

Same thing keeps happening to us too. CYR calls during the first half of the night and then another call very early the next morning.  We are on the No Call List so my wife called the CRTC and filed a complaint today.  Mr. Finger, thanks for the contact info, I know calling them will do nothing but telling some off will make me feel better.

Lastly, you can make an on-line complaint with the CRTC's National Do Not Call List - even if your number is not registered.  Their on-line submission system can be found at:

Perhaps if all 3 of us complain something will happen quickly.  I've already submitted my complatin.

I forgot to add, in addition to calling from 1-905-695-0571 , CYR also occasionally does the same fax-machine calls from 1-905-731-6861.

They have been calling me for over 2 years, and despite my numerous attempts to make them stop they have persisted on calling me again and again - including at 2AM on Christmas eve.  AS of this morning (their most recent call), CYR has called me nearly 200 times.

As mr. finger mentioned, Rena Malkah is the contact individual for CYR, and the numbers he provided are all correct.  But given their past inability to deal with these issues, I wouldn't expect much of a response.

I'm putting together my phone records, and all of the correspondence I've sent them over the past two years, in order to pursue criminal charges of harassment against CYR.  I would suggest you do the same.

I have had the same annoying calls almost incessantly in the last few days. The same company has harassed me before: this has been going on for years now. I am on the no-call registry and, as you say, they call in the middle of the night -- a clear violation of CRTC regulations.

Talk to the manager Rena Malkah. Her extention is 229.
Her cell number is 647 838 5061. Call her often. Call her in the middle of the night. Have your friends call.

She also runs a record label from the same address, Kick A** Records.

The company CYR MORTGAGES is constantly calling my house phone number at odd hours of the night and day - from 6 am to midnight and again from 2am to 6am.  All of these calls are Fax calls.  

Someone needs to stop this behavior.  No one should do business with CYR Mortgages.  

What can I do to have this company fined for doing this?
