bell Canada trying to sell something i dont even have a bell phone lame

Got the exactly the same rude response as Erin. - and no mention of bell or rogers.

He called 3 days in a row so far! Same Rude Message as the rest of you.

I got a voice message from this number.  It was all garbled.  When I called back, it is the same rude message as what Eryn and Joy got.

Same a-hole, same message.  Call display is wonderful.  I can ignore the f----out of him..or trace his phone number.

My husband received a call last weekend from 905-695-5541 identifying themselves as Bell Canada.  My husband put the caller on speaker phone so I could hear it too.  They were offering us an internet package.  My husband listened to what the guy had to offer.  The man said he needed our credit card number, the name of the institution and the three didgit number on the back panel as means to identify us so they could send the package with the modem ad CD's to us.  Well as soon as I heard the credit card part I said NO WAY.  We called back the number to see if we could talk to someone but just got a very rude message.

Your own bank does not know the three numbers on the back of your card.  We called Bell and asked if they were offering this promotion.  They said NO.  We then asked if they would ask for this type of information for internet service, they said NO.  They would NEVER ask a customer for the three didgits on the back of the card!!  We left this in the hands of Bell security along with the phone number 905-695-5541 from where the call originated.  Well, guess what, THEY CALLED AGAIN TODAY (22 Nov 08)!!!  

Please share this with others.  Some people don't know that they shouldn't give this info to people who call them.  Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there that are running scams.

So apparently bell security sucks! because it is now nov 24th and I'm getting these phone calls more than once a day

If he calls back he's gonna get an earful

I've had several calls from this number. He doesn't respond when one answers, and doesn't leave a message when the call is left unanswered.  If you call the number back, the call is diverted directly to his voicemail, which is always full thus leaving one frustrated and unable to make contact.

Just got a call from this number, Caller display shows "Ontario"called back message all mumbled can't make out what he is saying.

I say we all show up at this guy hous and offer him a packeg he cant refuse...
keep in mind this is how some ppl get thier kicks by getting a rise outa ppl getting pissed off...we have this persons number (905) 695 5541 lets see if we cant find his postal code i found a map of of his where abouts and going to take a trip. have a few friends that are private detectives Im sure this guy would loved to be exposed to the people and police.

Isn't it sad that people can't answer the phone anymore, because of idiots like this one?
Voicemail weeds them out, but why do I have to be on guard in my own home?

Ive seen this number before. I dont pick up and they never leave a message. Called me at 9pm.

Two calls - no v-maicl left.  When I returned a call - could not completed as dialed.  Call display shows "Ontario"

Just got a call from this number 905-695-5541.  

Guy said his name was John and he was calling from Bell Canada to see how we felt about the services we have with them.

Funny thing is we don't have any services from Bell Canada......BEWARE this is a SCAM!!!!!

I got a call from this number this morning. Glad I didn't actually jump outta the bed for the phone now that I see what it's all about. The "Ontario" on the call display is what made me curious though. If this is clearly a scam how can he get away with it for so long?
I noticed on 411.com that he isn't with either Bell or Rogers. Maybe calling HIS service provider would do something. ??

Has anyone actually found out who this really is? They've started calling me yet each time I try to call it back, it's busy. They don't leave a voicemail for me but let me tell you...if it is in fact a telemarketer...he's gonna learn some new curse words from me! Scam or not...I hope to be home the next
time they call.

Both Bell and Rogers have contacted me on several occasions and have always identified themselves and were able to give employee numbers and my answer to them is always the same...send me something in writing or I don't wanna talk to you! If they can't provide you with something in writing or at least give you the same offer in person at a Bell or Rogers outlet, I'd be hesitant to do anything over the phone.

This guy called me & said he was from Bell Canada. There was some accent in his voice. Well people please beware !!! He is calling from Pakistan & running some sort of scam. What the scam is, I dont know. They buy a toronto area number that goes directly to Pakistan. If the # comes up again,listen to his voice. I wouldnt confirm anything as Im w/ my cable company. There is a simiar number calling from Pakistan as well, they are a call centre trying to sell you a device which is suppose to save 30% on ur hydro bill. These are made in CHina & they get them for like a couple dollars. They are selling them for $150. canadian. My friend got taken, thing is she is originally from India.She called customer service #, & recognized this accent. 905-695-5526 is the number.

Just got a call from this guy, also claiming to be from Bell. When I said I wasn't with Bell and had in fact spoken with Bell just a few days ago, he hung up. Attempts to call him back always result in a busy signal. Jerk.

They have called me twice. First time did not leave a message.

Second time a person who really couldn't speak English asked me if my Bell land line and Bell Sympatico services were satisfactory. I don't think they are on the up and up.

I just received a call from this number. January 21, 2009 and I never answered it and they never left a message. But I have call display and when it came up it says Ontario as the name and then the number.

I will tell you something. I know somebody that is a manager at bell canada and he told me that if you call bell for any service, that you call is sent to their call centre. Their call centre is in FACT IN  India

Get a phone call today from "bell" the offert me high speed internet 3 months for free. after 3 months I have to pay 29.95 a months including router, naV, firewall etc..No install. fee, no activation fee. sounds god, he transfert me to the manager his name is Dave from the Internet Department. I'm asking about the high speed and told them we don't have high speed available in our area. Hi told me this is new and way not try is free for 3 months. I said let me think about it and I like to speek with my husbund first. I ask , can I call you back,  his said no, we are from the Marketing Department. After this I said thank you and I'm hanging up.

Got this call today  says he was from Bell canada  Asked if I had all my services with Bell Canada(phone, internet and TV)...Person was very rude when asked about his ID #..  and started to yell and hung up the phone on me.
