We receive regular calls from this number or from similar people. It's always a man with an Indian accent trying to sell duct cleaning services around 3-7pm. Today it was a man with an Indian accent by the name of "Steve" calling on behalf of "Model Home Services" trying to sell a promotion for duct cleaning that will expire today. I asked for his company name, and a phone number.

They always say some lie about how he had spoken to Mr. So-and-so before and they had asked him to call back.  I have asked them numerous times to stop calling, take our number off their list, and threatened to report them. Nothing has stopped them from calling yet.

REGULARLY HARASSED BY SOMEONE NAMED 'SAM' WHO CONSTANTLY CALLS AT LEAST 3-4 TIMES A WEEK. HE SAYS THE COMPANY IS CALLED PCL, AND THEY ARE BASED IN PAKISTAN.

HE BETTER HOPE THAT HE IS IN PAKISTAN BECAUSE THE AUTHORITES HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND ARE LOOKING FOR HIM.

Received a call from this number a half an hour ago I didn't pick up the phone, because an caller's ID wasn't available. Thornhill, ON.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago with a guy with a very heavy Indian accent who called himself 'Alex' from Doncaster Home Services offering air duct cleaning.  I strung him along for a few minutes before he finally hung up on me (I'm evil that way, but it's fun to tease the telemarketers).

Looks like they took a break from 2009 to 2012 but have decided to try again.

They call several times one after another if you do not answer.  they are incredibly annoying

yes i got the some call today and they saying they will give gifts and stuff after the presentation there was this ARAB  guy doing the presentation and he cursed and called people sons of dogs and shoes in arabic assuming no one understood him without realizing that i understand the language, he was laughing , that was held in windmill road dartmouth nova scotia all i can say is be aware and not fall into the scam no one give nothing for free and i hope the police find out about this con man

I got a call from "unknown" today. They left a mesage. It was James Ricardo at ext 177. He said he was the senior vice president of CRG in Mississauga and that I should call back to 905-695-9040 x177.
So the first thing I do always is Google it.

I have two cell phones on my account and received calls on each of them.  I don't know how they got my numbers! Same spiel - some indian guy (I'm indian too lol!) with terrible english said I filled out a ballot at No Frill's/Price Chopper/Food Basics at Christmas time.  Said garbage as above about prizes.  But he said to meet them at:

He tried to ask me my marital status and I asked if he had a website.  He said www.vacationstore.ca  Then he put me through to his supervisor, another indian fellow who said he was the senior manager.  "Ray" said something about a vacation company was giving away vacations as part of a promotion but the line was sooo bad I could barely make him out.
I told him I would call them back after I checked them out and he gave me the name "Ray" 905-695-9040.
The website asks for a chinese text utility installer but I clicked no, and then saw the site.  Looks like a timeshare thing or something.  The whole thing stinks from the beginning.  I guess for the 1% of people that show up, they are scamming enough profit out of them to keep this going..

The same guy, James Ricardo called me as well. Exact same story except this time they said they represent a company called TVS. When I asked what does TVS stand for he replied "Nothing! TVS is just a name. Like Pepsi!!!!". And you are most likely right about Pakistani, he was actually shouting in Indian or Pakistani with someone in the background a couple of times during our call. Scam or Not the whole idea of them not telling you the award presentation is actually a sales pitch meeting and their telemarketing tactics are far from honest business. Asked them not to call me again.

I got this exact call - a private call on my cell. The lady kept pronouncing and calling the company "Sun Dream". I asked them to give me my full name and address but they couldn't.

When I asked them the name of the company they are worknig for she started to say something like "you don't need to worry about..." and that's when I hung up.

I got a call from James Ricardo (sounded more like he was Pakistani then Spanish) and told me I won a prize.  Apparently I entered into a contest and only gave my cell number and did not leave my name.  I played along till they gave me the name and address of the company.  After I received all the info I needed to do some research on them I hung up.  They have called back over 20 times now and I finally answered and told them where to go!

I can't believe people actually do this for a living....

How do u know they are legit? Did you attend one of their prize ceremonies?

I got the same call on May 21, 2009....the guy that called me, Michael, sounded more excited than I should have...for one they said my "phone number" was picked. Thye did not have a name...told me to come down becasue I have 4 options to choose from, trip, $1500, 42 inch tv and i cannot remember the last one...I clearly  asked..is this free..do i have to pay ANYTHING..are there hidden fees. He said NO! I just have to go to 1510 Drew road and stay for about 2 hours then pick my prize from a ballot box! LMAO. Thanks for the info! oh yeah he said there website is premiumclub.com which happens to be under construction.!

Check out their BBB rating.  It's a scam.  They get you to go to their office, make you sit through a 'gift ceremony' (aka high pressure selling garbage like time shares, join their club, etc.), and they give you some crappy gift at the end.

These kinds of scams have been around for years, the only difference is how they lie/pressure people to get them to come in.

My only question is, do they really make that much money doing this kind of garbage?  Have the employees of this 'company' ever heard of an honest living.  I'm sure these are the same type of people that use roofies to get a date.

If anyone is bugged by these people (and I use the term 'people' loosely), you're more then welcome to pay them a visit.  Bring a couple of friends (perhaps the guys that are a little less than stable and prone to violence)!
