I got calls too and I reported them to the NDNC. Strangely enough, I had a service call from Bell this week and the file was closed yesterday, all was resolved - there is no reason for someone to call me.

I received a call but no message left.a

The guy with strong accent said that he was calling from Bell Canada.  He said that my TV & internet services with Bell are under old technology and he would like to introduce me with their new technology.....   I stopped him and told him that I had already set up an appointment with Bell and they would have an technician to help me with the new setting.  Then, the guy said that's the reason for his call.  Since they need to order the ?receiver? for me and need my credit card number.  It sounds weird to me; therefore, I told me that I would call him back and ask him if there's any number that I can reach him.  He said that since I hadn't place the order yet,  I could not call him back; but he reminded me that they need to place the order for me before the technician goes to my place.  I doubt if he's really from Bell.  I hang up and call Bell.   The representative from Bell helped me to check my account and CONFIRMED THAT THE CALL WAS NOT FROM BELL CANADA.

This number called both my cell and home , very weird I called the number back no answer .

It appears to be a sub contractor for bell.  He called to reschedule a service appointment
