I'm a farrier in California. Just got a message from Rich Sanford saying " he wasn't sure if I was still shoeing horses but would appreciate a call" Not knowing who Rich Sanford was, I sat down and did some research, finding your comments. Thanks for saving me from another no-count telemarketer posing as a good ole' boy. Dam, ain't nothing sacred anymore?

Well I did return his call since My Husband is a Farrier ( Horse Shoer). His message went like this Hey " husbands Name"  This is Rick Sanford and I was Just seeing if you were still shoeing Horses etc. I called him back but had read this thread before he called me back.  We are also on the Do not call list.  His sales pitch to me was that he had Just gotten back from the AFA Convention in Louisiana which is a legitimate convention for Farriers. He claimed that he had been engraving pocket Knifes for the Farriers with the Bus. Logo and had an extra Case that he would sell us for half price of 12.00 each including Shipping but I told him someone already sold me a few cases of Crappy mugs with a crappy Logo.  He had our E-mail Also.  He must be getting names off the AFA or Shoeing sites Listing Farriers. Yes those Listings/Ads are for people looking for Farriers but people like him also want to sell there products. He is going about it wrong by not saying why he is calling and that he is a salesman from a company.  Smooth Smooth Talker. But Telemarketer

Just received a call on my cell phone and he left a message saying this is Rick Sanford and asked if I still had Quarter Horses and to return his call.  I googled his name and number and found this.  Strange......

Thanks for leaving these previous messages about this jerk, Rich Sanford.  Yep, he left his name.  Pretended to need my services, and my number is on the national do not call registry.  Hopefully more people will look up his number on google and get these warnings.  I can't stand dishonest people who waste my time.

Ditto!  He left me a message on my cell phone saying he was Rick Sanford and "prentending" to be interested in my business.  Like others, I did the Google search for the phone number and found this thread.  Technology is GREAT!  Thanks so much for everyone taking time to post such valuable information.

Left message pretending to know us and our business. Gave the name Rick Sanford and asked for a return call. I Googled the number before calling & found this thread, THANKS GUYS for reporting this con artist!

Received a phone call from this number, the message left was unrelated to my business and therefore I looked up the number and found this thread.  I will not be calling back.  Thank you!

Same here, sold us coffee mugs too....the mugs were nice, logo small...when he called again to sell us something else, i told him i did not feel the mugs were quality and he hung up....dont buy from them...dynamic comes up on caller id...

This is a number of a guy who calls up your business and acts like he's interested in what your selling, them precedes to try and sell you his product.  On my case, sold me coffee travel mugs with my business logo on it....very cheap mugs, very small logo.  Good talker, probably sells a lot too people as be is a fast talker.  VERY UNSATISFIED.  When I complained, he Hung up on me.

This number keeps calling me but I don't answer.
