My wife paid this but they will not talk to her so therefore they phone all day and I am not in.  This is harrassment and I also Paid it off completely in the spring.  They keep coming back with a higher amount that you can now charge.  How can you get them to leave you alone.

this idiot has called me on my cell 7x.  i answered today and told him to stop and desist  he is an idiot who is running up my LD on my smart phone

The statement that was made earlier on here about making an extra or double payment not counting as  next payment is true! If you owe $60 min and pay $300 they will still call the next date that comes up saying 'your last payment was made such and such and you are still owing.'

The collection calls are mixed in with 'special offers'.  Some special offers will do nothing more than add another amount owing to your existing balance.  
I've pointed out that 'if I already owe them money, I'm making payments and they are still concerned about the chance I may not pay the balance off...then why on earth offer me more chances to rack up extra debt with special offers??!!'
They seemed a bit stunned with my question, butkept plodding along with what a great offer it was...no charge for the first 3 months....'
I asked what happens after 3 months? oh well, then they start adding a charge to your credit account.'

1-905-735-5425 keeps calling me atleast 4-5 times a day I called this number back is Canadian tire they never leave a message, I think they should be charged with harrasment Don't owe them any money credit card payment is not due so why do they kep calling I think people should not shop there aymore should go to lowes or rona.

just talked to someone at canadiantire and it is apart of the credit card. has to do with late payments. once you call them its supposed to stop once they do an up date

got 5 or 6 calls today. went to aliant.net and then canada 411. it didnt belong to canadian tire.

These guys get money 365 days a year across Canada and yet they are so frantic acting like their going to go bankrupt.  If your balance is $ 400.00 on the red card their on your case. So the question is why they want you to have the red card if the paranoid fear is going to kick into gear at the  financial office. Far as I'm concern CanadianTire causes their own problems. It's a good thing we paid the redcard off and send it to the shredder. I hope crappy tire goes bankrupt someday.  I simply wont buy from them.

It is Canadian Tire. I have a mastercard with them, didnt pay the minimum so they keep calling. They never leave a messages. The minimum for this card is way too much! Friggin $600!!!!

Yes i have got lots of calls did not who it was,, but finally called the number and yes it was canadian tire finacial company,, i do owe them money and pay the amount i owe each month,, They just wanted to give me a 3month deal,, 3 months intersest free,, for paying my amount on time,, so this will save me a little bit of money for 3 months...  I guess just to encourage you to keep paying your bill on time,,,,  But once this is paid off,, which may take me close to a year,,,  It will be cut up,,,,  So sometimes they are calling you for good reasons too///

Got 5 calls so far today and its only 530pm. Got about 5 yesterday and about 5 the other day. It gets very very annoying esp. when they don't leave a message.

OMG Got 5 calls today from this number (and it's only 530). Each day, we get about 5 different calls from them. They do not EVER leave a message. It is very very annoying.

Ya, I get the calls too!   They either hang up, or make you wait till they pick up the phone to say hello.  I now answer the phone but say nothing.

get 2-3 automated calls a day asking for someone i have never heard of.  it gives an option to push 2 if i am not that person, but i am concerned its fraudulent so I just hang up.

Have received calls several times a day for a few days now. They keep asking for someone who I have never heard of.  They have also been calling me from two other numbers with the same person request. Although I have tried to explain that I am the only person who holds my number and have had it for more than 15 years, it was still implied that I was lying or hiding something.  I have never had an account with Canadian Tire and now am convinced that I never will!

Continually calling, all hours.  Automatic dialing with delay response when I do pick up.  Now I will not even answer it.

Claims to be CTC but account is paid and closed, called CTC customer service they clai number is not theirs.  Might be an "arms length" contractor.

Local police, (eastern Ontario) say number may be fradulent as they can't pin down who is legitimate user of the number.

Yes, it's an automated call from Canadian Tire Options credit card. Just answer the phone and press 1 and it won't bother you until you miss a payment again...

yeah they call like 6 times a day every day.

any collection agency that calls i just hang up and put the number in my phone with bill collector on the name . no worries no more answering it . hope this helps

It doesn't matter if you're late, just paid, or on time...these guys call and call and call :s If you pay too early, it counts as an extra payment, not your monthly payment, and if you paid less than what they want, they'll still hound you :s I paid mine 2 weeks ago, and I get daily calls from 8 am, my time, onwards, until late evening :s My advice, which I intend to do, is phone them and ask for a closing balance, then cancel card, cut it up and pay it off :s They are the worst !!!
