The numeber belongs to D&A collections.  They do  collections for TD Bank and probably a few other other financial agencies

This is from Primerica, which was once owned by Citibank, usually calling to clarify a change made to an account. It's a call worth taking.

I called the number back and its a voice message saying its not a valid number yet she called me from there.  I'm reporting this number.  Citibank is affiliated with CitiFinancial but they won't admit to it but their web page confirms this.

Oh ya they will keep calling back I got one I hung up on and she called back and yelled at me and told me that I was not ALLOWED to hang up on her I told her it was my house and I decide who I speak to and can hang up on whoever I want and than I hung up on her again, she called back can you believe it and I never answered the call she called a couple of times after that.  I always asked them to wait a minute and than tell them I'm recording the call that scares the crap out of them.

Same for me ....got a call this afternoon.  No voicemail left.  When I called back, "...number not assigned".  Thanks for the tips/info all!!!  Obviously somebady has some information about and trying to get more.  I'm off to yet again to change passwords, security settings, and check my credit history.  Happy days!  :)

Received the call around 6:30.  I did not answer the call.  They left no message on machine.. I let it ring for about 10 times +

Received this call around 3:50pm. Was told i owed money on a mastercard. I don't even have a mastercard. Obviously this is some kind of fraud or scam.

Scam to get your cc and personal info! Don't answer when they call. Also if you'reon telus dial *60 and enable call screening. Also report it to the RCMP phonebusters line.

I received a call from this number at 9 am, no message left.  Last month I did answer the call, they told me I had a past due account which was not true.  Then they tried to verify my home address and asked if I was the owner of the property?  They did identify themselves as being from Citi Mastercard, I do not think this was correct.  They had my address and wanted to know if I owned or rent the property, they were very quiclky told that it was none of their business.  BE CAREFUL, THIS IS A SCAM TO GET INFORAMTION, you do not have to give any information to them, if you are unsure, call the # on the back of  your card.

I got a call from this # this morning saying something about an overdue account which i dont have.  the lady knew my full name date of birth phone # but had the wrong adress.  I kept telling her i dont have a Citi master Card and she proceeced to get info on the account to see if its fraudulant in the end she tranfered me to 2 other people but i got disconected.  i called back the # and let it ring like 20 times no answer.  I called the official Citi bank and they said they are not affiliated with that # and did a search but have no records of an account in my name.  I guss its a scam to get your info,but it seems funny that she already had all my info, so I guess it was to try and confirm it.  My next step is to get updates from Equifax to be sure no one is using my info.  Be careful out there!

I've had two calls so far, and this time they left a message.  "Hi, my name is Jean Paul, I am calling from Citi Card Canada.  This is an important message for Adam Wall[not my name]. Would you please call us at 1-800-420-1686. Your reference number is your telephone number, 001-4### [which is not my telephone number; my telephone number is 101-2### (not the real numbers - just to give the idea]."  He then gave the business hours. It seemed a bit fishy to me, after reading some of the other comments on this and other sites. I do not hold any cards from Citi, the number was wrong, and the name was wrong.  Very strange.

WTF?? They've called me from this number twice now. Last night at 9, and tonight at almost 10!

His name is Vitalis from Citifinancial he calls from a non working phone number?? I asked him for a fax number his fax number is 1.800.381.8429 the fax number works, who knows where!?

I had someone say that "Joanne" from my local branch refered me to him so he can lower my Car Insurance Rates, and wanted information about how much I make, my drivers lience number and my sin number.

I started to call his bluff, he then hanged up on me, Tried to call it back, but I get "This is a none working number please try your call again"

This is a scam. They called me today saying they were representing a company I do work for, and they needed my fax number. I said they have my fax # already, it's how we do business. When I asked him why a local business from Vancouver would need to call me from Ontario he said it was the parent company which i told him is a lie because it is a one office business located here. He then asked me for my email address so I hung up on him. This is a scam don't answer the calls.

Just started getting these calls today. My DH has a Citi Card Mastercard...get thisthough... in order for him to have it, he had to put down $1000.00 bc of his poor credit! I don't believe that he is late for a payment, but hell, he could be. Still...we shouldn't be getting Collection Calls when they have a secure deposit on the card in the first place!!!

Was a call from Citi Financial with a great offer, so said the voice message.
