DNA CALLERS KEEP CALLINNG , WHEN I CALL BACK DIAL TONE, IT IS VERY ANNOYING

This number states that they have awarded our company a substantial amount of AirMiles Reward Miles, and to press "1" to collect them. After hanging up and calling back, we see that this is a collection agency, attempting to trick unsuspecting folks into pressing one, and giving them a reason to continue to call. This is illegal and will be reported promptly.

Tis best to simply ignore the twits or really screw them up and get a new phone number.  If you answer or return their call they will know they have 'a human' at your phone number.  But if you simply keep ignoring them or change your phone number THEY WILL SPEND THEIR TIME GOING AFTER THE SUCKERS WHO ANSWERED THEIR PHONE OR WHO RETURNED THEIR CALL ( remember that the phone folks give those leeches a listing of all phone numbers that called their 1-800 number - that is how they know they got a 'live one' at your phone number ).   Ignore em and ( being a business out to make a profit for as little work as possible ) they will move on to where their prospecting is more likely to strike gold.  Help them to starve by ignoring them... ;)

FYI the ministry of transportaion in Ontario now has the right to revoke your drivers licence and refuse your sticker untill the bill is paid in full .Ministry of transport will accept payment for 407 bills. i got hammerd with a 1500.00 bill that started out as 28.00, had no choice but to pay it and problem was solved got licence and sticker and bill paid in one swoop.took 5 days to re enstate licence so you may have to pay it if you want to drive in ontario,not sure about other provinces.as to weather they can nail ya from ontario for the unpaid amount or not if you are not a resident

FYI the laws changed regaurding statute of limitation on old debt ,2 yrs on credit cards and max 5 yrs on big debt and certainly doesnt give any debt collector the rights to harass people after the statute of limitations has come into effect,as long as you do not admit there even was a debt they can not restart the staute of limitation clock.people make mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance so why come on here and call people names?does that make you feel better? i bet you  have creditors chasing you or you wouldnt be on here trying to find out whos calling you!

I receive a call from this number saying that I owed $200.00 outstanding ballance for phone bill. I never had a phone that is belong to bell mobillity. just Rogers, Fido, chatr.ect. This company is random......

I've been getting calls from this number for a while now, always asking for Vincent Smith.  I have spoken with a real person twice and insisted that my number be removed from the database since I am not Vincent Smith and I don't even know anyone named Vincent Smith.  Obviously, 9057555594 doesn't have any respect, because they continue to call.  Shameful behaviour.  From Hamilton, ON.

Its DNA, been trying to get me for over a year....like all pests they will give up and go away eventually. Until then I'll continue to ignore the calls

its a collections agency...they are after me for the most outrageous 407 bill...an $18.00 trip originally...now the bill is over $2000.00...F you 407 and F you D&A corportation....you will NEVER see a dime from me...call all you want!!!

What's appose mean?  Can't find it in my dictionary.  They are scammers and they do call on and on and on and I WILL NOT BOW TO A TELEMARKETER!  "DOING THEIR JOB?"  You must be one of them!!

Not necessarily a "scheme" or in other words Scam. If it is Not you simply return the call inform them appose to avoiding it. At the end You'll continue to get the annoying calls, they are only doing their job trying to get in contact with debtors when they have changed their numbers so they can't be found. If its Not You again, just pick up or call back.

I just got a call from them, saying "If you are such and such a person, press 1". I am, so I did, but then the guy asked for someone named Steven. That was that. Never said who they were or what they wanted. I didn't correct him or tell him what the intro message said.

Today i received a call from that number but... it said "there will be a representative to talk to me shortly" then it kept playing beethoven over and over and saying that same message for like 10 minutes, i said f it and hung up. i am use to people trying to get my info, ive had my i.d stolen 3 times lol. people beware obviously. plus i think they read all of these and changed there tactics.

These people need to get a life and leave me the hell alone I don't know who they are looking for but I do know they have the wrong number. I don't answer unknown numbers or callers so good luck. Can not blame a person for trying.

This is a collection agency and the mentioned the name of my relative who they were trying to find.  I know he has left the city and is now living in Vancouver, but he is incommunicado, big time.  And this is the second collection agency trying to reach him.  I called and asked the company to remove my phone number from their file.

I've also got a recorded message asking for Mrs Parker. it says it's not a telemarketing message and its related to an important account. I wanted to call them back but then checked the number online and found the comments on this number. For sure, it's a telemarketing scheme!

Keeps calling my Blackberry (work account) and leaving recorded messages for someone named John Something-or-other (can't catch it)... saying they have a very important message. I keep hanging up on the recording (after all, they're not for me). However, it's very annoying to receive 4-5 calls per week.

Sounds like a scam to me. I got a message for someone I have never heard of so I called to let them know that they had the wrong phone # but all I got was an answering machine asking the aller to leave all there credit card info on the machine including name as it appears, card #, expiry date, as well as the 3 digit # on the back. With that info you could quickly run up someones credit card. What kind of company would ask you to leave that kind of inf on an answering machine?

Same.. press 1 to speak to a representative and .... dial tone... some customer service!
I have a feeling it has something to do with an old BELL account... so unless they send something in the mail... which they have not... Im not paying attention...

I just got a call from this number 9057555594 as well same message and asked to press 1 to resolve I did and than it was disconnected  .......... what kind of collection agency is it and why are they calling how do they get our numbers or they just dail randomly ...  if anyone have any info please do share

We have been receiving the exact same message for a couple of months now, but always from the same phone number.  My wife has called them back a couple time to ream them out, it usually stops the calls for a couple of weeks.

Same message as Urban got... "it's an important business call that needs to be resolved". I don't have any business that needs to be resolved, so it's definitely a telemarketing/ripoff scheme of some kind.

As of Oct 2010: It's EITHER Canada Trust (Bank)  collections (in my case for a $5000 unpaid line of credit with them) OR Koodo mobile (aka Telus) collections. Find me f*ckers!!!!!!!

claims to not be a sales or marketing call but claims to "pertain to an account that requires your immediate attention."

Leaves a message that it's an important business call that needs to be resolved. No company name mentioned.
