Wow this is really disappointing to hear and I've worked as a sales rep there for a few months. I'm sorry for the disappointment guys. But you know once i got to work there i really didn't know what was going on. Tho hearing all these were flashy things like paying in a cheaper price and you get a vacation slip. people that are working there are basically just up for the pay they get. Work is work you know. We honestly don't have that much of a fun experience coz all these bosses do is just push and push you till they get their quota. Business is business. I swear it's such a dirty deed.

I got a phone call from them about 15 minutes ago saying that I won a bridal package.. The company is called Kitchen charm and I dont remember entering my name on their draw when I went to the Vancouver wedding fair!!

I went to this show for the pots at which I was pressured into it....I thought at the time that it seemed like a great product bought it when I got home and did the math I was shocked!!! to find out how much its really going to cost me used it and was very disappointed with it preffered my old set of pots instead.  called them back to return these pots to find out its a final sale!! if  its such a good product it should be money back if your not happy with it everything else is!!!

Hi John, from your name i guess you're Lebanese (and it explains it all LOL). I'm too. I live in Beirut and went yesterday to the dinner invitation in Sin El Fil. All was great, the presentation, the food, the staff. But way too expensive especially when you check the prices on the Berghoff website. I wouldn't call it a scam, but it's really too expensive. I don't think this business will last, people are not fools. Making customers pay on the spot or at least sign paper is not clean. But it was clever to make us dine first; in Lebanon we have a saying: "Feed the mouth, the eye gets shy". I didn't buy the pots, my friend wanted to but i didn't let him. When I explained to him outside that we could buy 5 washing machines for the same price, he got it. I'm not from another company, i have no interest in saying all this, your name just caught my eye.

I "won" as well. However, the name of the company was not Table Charm... they said it was Dinner4Two Demonstrations. A bit of a red flag there for those who think it's a scam...

You have been scammed and are in denial or unable to comprehend the absurdity of your situation, You can purchase the same pots and pans from berghoff themselves online for 400$ Canadian. If you want a used Berghoff Cookware you can get one from Kijiji or ebay for under 200$ plus shipping and not have to pay 3600$ on a 4 year financing plan, LOL!

Not sure why they would be giving away so much????? I called them back and got a lady who was cleary on some sort of telemarketing scheme.  She could hardly wait to answer my questions and was so rude.  I told her that it has been over 2 months since the wedding show and why would they just be picking the winners now?  She hung up on me.  Strange.  I will be calling back to speak to a supervisor about her.  Beware of this place.

In response to "S" - No, we don't have to attend another seminar. You just order online. I don't remeber Table Charm or Royal Prestige ever being mentioned or referred to on the website or receipt.

And in response to "Janey B" - To say the company and salespeople are scumbags just because they are Muslim or Middle Eastern is pretty low. The salespeople at the seminar we attended were not Middle Eastern and the time I called the company I did talk to a man who was Middle Eastern and he was very helpful and pleasant on the phone. Have you ever attended one of these seminars? Did you have a crappy experience? Why all the hate?

It's Table4Two. I guess they were at a bridal show I went to and got my info so they called to get me to go to some 90 minute cooking demo. If I go, I get a free gift (a 3 day, 2 night vacation). So I'm going of course ;)

Well ...go check the BBB site and you will see they don't have good things to say about Cuisine Sante.  They gave it a C- rating and had many complaints sent to them from suckers that bought from them.  Better Business Bureau had tried to contact them and they won't reply to them...what does that say about them?

Blague!! Don't go. Ripoff and scammers.

I heard too many horror stories about that company. I heard from an ex employee that the chefs are just average Joe's and some of the guests are staged to add more pressure sales. LOOK OUT!

I agree.  They are false advertising. It is discussing. No refund?? Why not?? I made huge mistake purchasing from these people. " free trip, 5 star resort anywhere in the world. Once they had my credit card in their hand they then told me there is a 300 dollar shipping fee??? Why am I paying shipping when the items were given to me immediately to take home. People don't get fooled. That was a very e Expensive meal and not worth 3363.00 dollars.

That woman is a good example of a "Wimp and a liar". Woman or man, if they can't call people with their real phone numbers they belong in the same category of Cowards.

This number just called me and the person on the other end sat there blankly on the line like some second-year comp sci stalker.

I'm like: Who is this? And the woman is like: I just spoke with you.

No she didn't. I tell her that. She says "yes I just spoke with you."

Then she accused me of hanging up on her previously. I told her I've been on the computer all night and don't know what she is talking about.

I share a house and maybe she spoke to a roommate, but that's not my issue -- but I don't get to tell her that because she gets all snippy with me and hangs up on me.

Anyhow the woman from apparently this number (*69) was completely rude and invasive.

I applied to cuisine sante via kijiji. After the interview they tell you to call back right at 6pm to verify if you were selected to go into training. I never did my research before the interview. my interview was today and i thought it went swell. everyone there looks like they enjoyed their jobs.  so I call back at 6 and they said in a rather boring tone "congratulations you were picked" or something like that. now that im thinking about it he may have even said "I won" my point is it didn't sound like any kind of job confirmation I have heard before. And now that I see all the negative comments with the exceptional positive ones I am doubting weather or not i should pursue this job, is it really a hoax or should I be ignoring this thread and actually go in for training? I would love an answer from someone who might have experience with applying to csl, or have familly members that may have applied. The position was for telemarketing and i could really do with a job atm.

Time for another update!

So I kinda s**t the bed when it came to the free vacation. Last month when I pulled it out to register, I realized that it had expired 2 months earlier :s so I won't be able to give any reviews on that one. But I hadn't found many positive reviews about the Odenza travel agency, so maybe that was a blessing in disguise.

Still liking the cookware, all is good there.

And the rings my FH and I ordered came in the mail! We ordered the Timeless style and think they are awesome. We paid $50 for shipping and handling and when they came, there was another gift card included. The gift card was for another free set of wedding bands.  

I hope these posts help anyone else who are wanting more info on the cookware and freebies they bought or are looking at buying.

Of course you will have to get a phone call from the travel company... How else are they supposed to contact you to arrange your reservation. And before they call you then need upper permission.  And when you go on your FREE Tripp you are invited to a sales presentation which you can opt put of... At which point you are not bothered.  As if you are complaining about a free Trip given along with your purchase.  You do realize cuisine sante is not selling you a trip..it is given as a bonus with your products.  I went on the trip and enjoyed myself very much and would recommend cuisine sante to anybody.

If any of you people listen to what is Sayyid to you on the phone when making your dinner reservation you would know exactly what this is. A live cooking show demonstrating high end cookware ect. Exactly what the ballet you filled out offered and exactly what the person on the phone told you out was. Seems most people commenting on here don't pay attention to what they sing up for and then complain that they were misled.  Then I see people complaining about the condo certificate which was given to them FREE.  This composite is amazing and honest and all complaints I have read are by people who are to stupid to understand what they are invited to attend and what three products available are.
   I am a very satisfied customer.

Everyone should actually look up the company that MAKES Cuisine Sante's line of products. That would be Berghoff, and they do make decent products

I urge everyone to look at the Orion and Invico line of products in particular... I don't know where you can get them in canada, but it seems like Cuisine Sante may have some kind of exclusive license to sell in Canada? That being said, no matter how you crunch the math, 800 dollars for a cookware set + maybe 1500 in freebies (very generous for flatware and cutlery) They're still making at least 1000 (when you include their exhorbitant shipping and handling fees), EVEN if assuming they're buying retail price. But with with these kinds of operations, they will always have wholesaler discounts... so... buyer beware and do your own research.

Look at Berghoff and it's orion and invico line. I cannot stress this enough. If you like what Cuisine Sante is pitching, in terms of customer service and can stomach their mark up, then go for it.

I attend this show in Ottawa and it was awful! to be honest, I didnt find anything interesting in their food bregarding its taste! After that, they tried their best to push us buying their set!
hopefully we didnt buy anything although they were trying to satisfy us with diffrent types of promotios!

If you are the best, why we ever heard of you before! If you are the best in cookware why you are still in this spot after 8 years....
Obviousely, for this reason and many more I didnt buy anythig at the ed cause I had to do my own reserach.
Although I am happy that I didnt fall into their trap, they wasted 3 hours of my time. such a shame....
