Fax Machine
I got an email that had an eFax in it as well. McAffee site advisor said it is a risky site and not to open it.

I was dumb enough to click as I have a client with a fax number very close and I didn't look carefully enough.  Only opened it on my Blackberry - seems to be messing with my BBM and PIN capabilities...........

Actually, I was wrong.  The originating country is, I think, Brazil.

I just got a phoney fax, too.  Fortunately, my computer told me it couldn't be opened.  The country sent from seems to be Denmark or somewhere in Europe.  The file has the name pdf_efax_9057733019.scr.  I'm guessing the "scr" means "screw you!"  Definitely don't open it!

The e-mail we received was a scam from a company called efax.com or efax.ca.  If you look them up you'll see them offering a 30-day free trial of their services.  If you look up on "ripoffreport.com" and search "efax", you'll see people complaining that once they get your credit card number, there's no way to stop them charging you.  SCAM!!!

I was too leery of clicking on the link to "view my fax".  If anybody actually did, I hope they post the results here.

Got the same efax email as others.  Visible links don't match what the actual links are which are 2 different websites from brazil.  That is an obvious sign it's spam.  Don't click!
