I received a letter with a bogus check for $3980.

I called this number and no one answered it came with a check for $3,998.

I hope this scammers eat s*** and die.

I got this letter in the mail today. Came with a check that looked absolutely genuine and a letter that sounded like a scam. I took the check right down to my bank and the lady said the check was a real check except the account numbers on the bottom where of no actual bank account number. So I didn't get my free $4,000 :) lol. Obviously this is a scam and won't get a dime out of me.

This is the man who cheat the people .So please makesure to arrest him who send check to $3980 when Igo to the bank to deposit the bank customer service checked.So this check is illegal.It said on check Mellon Bank

I just I am wondering about the check that they send to me .So how come they
send to me still .I am still I know what is going on with them that is why
we need to know these people.So that we have to sue them legally they cheat
a lot of people.That is why We have to know where they are living by now.
I think they live in Canada.That is why I will call to canada court.
So that they can arrested them to put in the prison.

Call the US Postal Service and report it as the Mail Scam it is!

I also received a letter with a bogus check for $3980. The first thing you should do after finding it is a scam is to call the USPS as this is a postal scam, and is therefore a Federal crime. The fax number I received is from some place in Seattle.

BY THE WAY - Im in the state of Nevada and we DO NOT HAVE STATE TAX -

I just received the same letter as everyone else.  It said, I WON $150,000, I just needed to CASH the $3,990.00 check, and per my state taxes, send back $2,920.00 to pay for the taxes for my GRAND PRIZE.
    Im BLESSED that my girlfriend works in taxes.  We checked this out on the internet before we went any further.  YES, its to good to be true.  
    The letter said I needed to contact Nicole Hamilton 905-781-6067,and signed by the CFO Brian Glendale.  I of course, curious called the number and it is located in Canada.  OK! thats the first give away that somethings wrong.
    I than looked the company information up online.  IM GLAD I DID... I realized that Im not the only person that this scam was attempted on.  THIS IS NOT REAL, DO NOT CASH THESE CHECKS..  
    My question is how are they allowed to continue to work these scams and why aren't they caught and prosecuted.  BEAWARE!!!!  I wish there was more we could do, but until than I will be forwarding this to my local news and see if we cant get this STOPPED and alert others that this is happening...
