I have. They said they were from HBC and that I owed thousands of dollars. I haven't has that card for years and always pay my bills.  They were rude and aggressive. Who are they?

This is a Toronto-area phone number for (according to Google) an automotive dealership.

I live in New Brunswick, which is a couple thousand miles from Toronto. I do not have a car, nor have I ever expressed interest in buying one.

Who are these people? Are they even legit? And how did they get my number? Has anyone else received calls from them?
