The woman called my cell phone (which was stated on my home phone answering machine) while I was away for the weekend, and this being the THIRD time I was contacted about a relative of mine, with whom I am not even familiar with. I told her I did not appreciate her calling my cell phone and hung up. She called back and began to yell at me and I told her it was harassment and hung up.
We are very seriously considering calling the Better Business Bureau.

A woman was calling me on my number and started yelling at me "calling our company a fraud and cheat". I was busy with a customer and asked her number to call back - she refused to identify herself nor the company she represents. she kept calling back ( atleast 8 times) and as I picked up the phone she again started swearing at me and said that she will keep bugging me all day. She said that she has recorded my voice and giving to...I was so pissed off -someone being so unprofessional and asked he to get lost.

I tried contacting her office and asked for a manager or someone senior to talk, but the operator was very uncooperative.

I wonder what kind of organization operated at this level. I am making an official complaint under harrasement.

I have been in Canada for 13 years now and this is the first time that someone told me to go back to the country I came from. Martha was the person I tried to have a conversation with, tried bacause having conversation was not possible. I was called "lady", liar and assured that she can call me any way she wants, When I requested to talk to suprevisor or manager the response was that she was the only person I can talk to. All this yelling and harasment was not becasue I did not pay my bills, but becasue the company do not have their records straight. They have a wrong phone number and they keep calling my house. I really am going to take this further simply because I think that this is unacceptable way of doing business.

This company is a scam ,, they have called me at two different lines from different companies asking for a ladies name I never heard before.

They make up a false name like "claire andrews" , not to look for claire but to obtain info on you , it is probably you that owes them but they will use claires name to talk to you , confirm your number and voice , maybe even your address and then in a few weeks they follow up , either them or their parent company and that is when they will confront you about your debt. It's a lame and illegal practice only practiced by collections agencies and skip tracers.

Welcome to collections. They are a collection agency. Unfortunately this is how they work. Research the FDCPA. If there are infractions against that then you can get the collection agency in trouble

It is a scam! They called me and asked my Rogers account number.
I called Rogers and the attendant told me I should never give my personal information to anyone. A real Collection Agency has your account number, and they are supposed to tell you that instead.

Collecting on behalf of Canadian Tire for me....Verry Rude!  threatening to put a lean on my house for 1000.00

Called our home at 11 am when the entire house was sleeping(we all work late nights), and proceeded to harass us with 4 different phone calls. One call resulted in "goofball retard" when we answered, first words out of her mouth. I think these people should be reported to the BBB, and contact a lawyer or attorney. They don't seem to take kindly to legal threats.

This number keeps calling me and my wife for some sort of legal issue. But after a long round of back and forth, the woman can't tell what exactly it is. So we hung up the phone. But she keeps calling every now and then, still not sure what she wants. It is definitely a scam company or individual. Be careful of this number and don't bother picking up your phone if this number appears.

One of many numbers used by Contact Resource Services which is a collection Agency.  They also use 905-855-2261  and 905-297-3663. It is coming from Clarkson, Ontario & Hamilton area
They are relentless and no matter how many times they are told that the person they are looking for is not at the number they are calling.  Dont know how they got our number for this person, as we have had the same number for 10 years and we have never heard of the person they are looking for.  They dont believe us and continue to call.  We no longer answer as it is futile to try to get through to them.
Very, very annoying.

So, second time around with this stupid  company! I have now moved and they left two messages for the previous owner of my house that I bought, advising that they need to speak with my previous owner of my house with respect to a legal matter. Unknowing that it was the same company I phoned back and advised that they have the wrong number & that the person they are calling is the previous owners of my house, I inquired on how they got my number. the woman did not provide an answer to that. I inquired as to what her name was and the Managers info - she would not provide either and continued to quote " have fun with the harrassing phone calls" than hung up the phone.
I called back immediately and spoke with another woman adv that as per the privacy act I do  not need to provide any of my personal info and I was more than willing to lead them thru the Canada411.ca website to show that my name is listed under the number they are calling. she said there would be no need and she will take me off the list - I requested the Managers name and contact information - I was advised that his name is Nick Pingitore x 1507, I requested there address - they did not provide me with the address but advised that they were located in Mississauga - she would not put me thru to her Manager and advised that he was in meetings all day long - she did confirm that he had voice mail but would not put me thru to that and advised that it might be full - she confirmed that she will take a message and have him call me back.  
anyways I just wanted to share the second time around with this company and also now provide the new #1-888-238-0878

Read the post from Medorit - 24 Jul 2009. It says they called about a priority parcel. Nothing to do with collections that time. They just want your personal information.

Contact Resource Services, Collections Agency. Called back put me on hold for too long. Canadian Tire debt.  1-800-545-1904 ext. 1506. You owe money, and Canadian Tire sells their debt to this company but not really sells has them represent CT to get their money back. You can still pay monthly and not get sued like they first threaten.

Calling all the time or a few times a week. I don't pick up. Called 3pm PST time.

I'm a 17 year old kid and got called by this number.I didn't answer though.

I too got a call from this # 905-855-1820. I told them they had the wrong # and to not call again. She alled my business #. She said I was a lier that this is not a business. I told her to not call this # again. She said she was going to call me every day, she called me back over and over again and again. I kept hanging up! Finaaly she made me so mad I said f**k you! Then I did a *60 on my phone

I received a phone call from this number on Jan 13, 2009 - they asked for someone named Samjit or something like this - I adv. the woman that she had the wrong number, the lady than phoned back again, very aggressive and I adv. that she had the wrong number. After this this number non-stop, as soon as the phone hung up they would be phoning again for over 3 hours, I took the phone off the hook for approx. half hour and as soon as I put the phone back on the hook it was ringing again for over an hour.
The following day on Jan. 14, 2009 they started phoning again at approx. 8:00 AM, same as the day before phoning every second, my fiancé phoned the number back and confirmed they had the wrong number - this is after they have been told this twice - they asked how long we have had this number for and we confirmed we have had this same number for over 20 years! We did not receive any phone calls after this.
Due to this I was very upset as this is past the point of harassment. I phoned this company back and spoke with a woman who confirmed she was the Manager - I do not believe that she was as she was the first person who picked up the phone. I discussed my concerns and what had happened - I adv. that no matter what company they work for whether an collection company - they are still professionals and should never be contacting anyone like this - I advised that this is harassment and I would like to know who was making these calls and would like this person reprimanded for their actions - to say the least the lady was very rude on the phone, very uncooperative. I inquired what her feelings would be if someone was calling her house like this and she advised that this was not relevant - I got absolutely no where in our conversation and ended our conversation - at the end of the conversation the lady said goodbye and called me by the name of the person they were asking for. During our conversation I did advise that I could go on the computer on Canada 411 and confirm our telephone number and the person who lives at this residence. I advised that before they harass someone they should confirm their information they have is correct as we have had this telephone number for over 20 years.

This is a collection agency that is called Customer Resource Services. They chase deadbeats for money owed. I own a business and one of my ex employees probably ran into money troubles. They keep calling with a computer generated service stating that legal actions are going to happen. I called them several times and get no where with them. They try to transfer you then hang up. I've passed this on to my lawyers.

I've been called also by this number time and again.  And thanks for that comment above, I now know who the hell are these.  They keep on asking how long I've had this number.  I told them, why don't they go to my phone provider to see it.  They said they are not going to any phone book or provider.  She said she'll just keep on calling my number every day.  

How dumb can that be eh?  One person defines lunacy like this:  doing the same thing over and over again and hoping there will be different results.

If this collection agency have any form of intelligence above that of an insect, they should hire investigators to track down the real persons they're looking for.
