Called 3.30 pm Monday March 3rd , robot voice asked me to hold - played some music and disconnected - I was going to be asked to be put on their do not call list but did not get an option.

I get repeated calls from this number and no longer answer it - haven't in awhile. This time, they called at 8:55 am. Lovely.

this people keep calling and asking for someone that doesn't even live here, I already told them this is a wrong number and they keep calling and filling up my answering machine with music and a recorded messages, They're called "Contact Resource Services" I called back to try and talk to someone and tell them to stop this but they put you on hold and you never get to talk to someone. Can we sue this people for harassemment?

Calls coming in 2 at time, one right after the other. CAnnot fine the number on any searchs. Who the hell are they and what do they want???

Robot call asking me for immediate action for something giving a 1-888 number then hung up. who are these people?

They constantly call, when I called them back they're a collections agency and are calling to on behalf of the City to collect for outstanding parking tickets

Same story here. Continuous calls from 905-855-7515 ("Contact Resource Services on behalf of Rogers") asking to speak to an unknown person, or wanting you to call 888-238-0878 regarding an urgent matter. These people are parasites on society and need to be shut down. How do we get rid of them?

I also got a call from them today, it is Contact resource services. One of the guys threatened my life on the phone saying he will 'bomb me' cause i asked him if he knew were bin laden was. I recorded it so i am contacting the RCMP this might get rid of the parasites.

i got a call from this number to 5:44PM lol i looked it up in canada411 and nothing and i type into google and i see other ppl hav gotten calls from this random number too ...interesting

I got a call from them on either wed. or thursday. She said she was calling from whatever the hell they call themselves & that they'd recieved my name from a Rogers acct. that had been put in collections. (Funny thing is, I have 2 different Rogers accounts. One is internet at my moms, and the other was just hooked up at my house, both WORKING & being paid for) Then, I got a call from them yesterday, this time it was a different lady, saying they had JUST recieved my information & were reviewing it with their attorney & it was imperative I call them back... Seriously, I'm 5 days away from having a baby via c section... I don't need to be harassed by some lame a***s who can't even get their facts straight. Calling my cell phone company tomorrow & getting my number changed. That'll stop the calls :)

Thanks for this story! I laughed out loud when I read this. I have been getting calls from these people nonstop for 3 months now. I am just wondering - did this strategy work? Did they stop calling you?

Well... it may be a drop in the ocean, but I got mine tonight. My wife's cell phone was getting call after call after call from the pond scum at this number. So I decided to give them a few calls tonight. They were looking for someone we had never heard of. When I called, I told them they had the wrong number, and she said something about taking the number off the list. Nothing about paying for the minutes for all the stupid voicemail robocall messages. I said, "Not one more phone call. Do you understand me?" and the unprofessional twit said, "With that attitude, I'll ensure the calls continue! Have a good night!" and hung up. Apparently, they think I need to ask them "pretty please" to stop harassing my wife about someone we have never heard of.

So they had it coming. I HAD to call them back. Wouldn't you?

Once, I asked for "Simon," and when they said, "There's no Simon who works here," I said, "I see. And do you find it annoying when people call repeatedly with the wrong information?" Her tone grew icy, and I taunted her for a while. She tried to act nonchalant, but I could hear the agitation in her voice. I asked if she regretted not staying in school to prepare for a better job. I needled her until she got really angry and hung up. Sweet.

I called back and got another person. I asked about her hourly wage. I kept her on the phone for a while before she got angry and hung up.

I called again. This time, I asked for the corporate mailing address. She sounded suspicious, but started rhyming it off to me. After she had finished, I said, "Okay... once more from the top." I said I couldn't read my own writing, and could I have the address again?  

Calling these people is going to be a great way to entertain myself and blow off some steam. They try to act as though it doesn't bother them, but when the anger creeps into their voices... THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT.

These idiots have call me constantly looking for someone else. Ive had the number for about 5 months now. I've told them to stop but they won't so I decided to file a complaint with the CRTC. Hopefully they will do something about it.

Wow, this is all so funny. In a rather outrageous sense of course. I have been getting calls from this place for at least 5 - 6 months now. Minimum once a week for a "Mikhail Motinov". After mentioning it was the wrong number I continued to recieve calls! The sad part is, this isn't the only place that has been calling me asking for this guy.

But today was the weirdest, from the company being discussed here, I get a call and the guy says "You think I won't find you in Mexico?! I speak spanish you know!" after a 3 second silence he hangs up. Well gee, if mister Motinov has already gone that far to avoid having to pay, I'm pretty sure they WON'T find him in Mexico. Ever. They should probably stop calling already. And yea, they like to harass you until you finally give in, and the problem is, I'm not him! Can anyone actually get an address to the numbers? The 905-855-xxxx. I think a small group of people like us needs to go in there and raise some hell because we can all agree that this is really REALLY annoying.

I got a call from this number, and they told me they want to speak to Zian Zhu (something similar) and asked my phone number and put me on
hold like forever. I remember receiving the same message from this number a week ago for several times. They never answer and just take your time.

I did not get any call.  But here's what DID happen...
I applied for an increase on my Visa. I was turned down saying Trans Union reports that Rogers reports I have a bad debt of $5375!  Um, NO! I most certainly do NOT!  My kind bank manager gave me the CRS case number, I called Rogers and they say my account is in just fine standing - AND THEY WERE LAUGHING!?!  They gave me CRS number so I called it... I was on hold on my cell phone for almost 80 minutes! While I was on hold I found this site, and another number was listed.  So I left my cell phone on speaker phone, and dialed the second number from my house. When it began to ring and I heard the greeting I could have cried, I called the same place, but I decided to hold on longer anyways.  Sure as #@*^ the line I had called only minutes before (thanks suckers, now I've wasted my Rogers airtime) and I am informed that the account number I gave them belongs to a completely different person, there are no similarities at ALL, so they dont know how the mix up occurred... and gave me the lady's name, and her Rogers account number and said call Rogers again and good luck.
So I phoned Rogers, went through the whole thing and gee, guess what?  They found this other woman, and they have no idea how her crap ended up in my credit bureau!  I am outraged!  I was denied credit increase due to some other deadbeat!
Rogers SAID they will investigate on my behalf, they had all the information they needed and my credit bureau should be just fine in about 30 days, to make my own inquiry and see for myself.
I have no idea whose fault this is but let me tell you, I'm still angry, I'm shaking with it!

crooks crooks crooks!  How can Rogers use such an unreliable thwarty company?  I googled them and nothing comes up on them, almost as though they don't even exist!

I suggest that people order their own credit reports (self inquiries don't count against you) a few times a year to make sure this doesn't happen to them!

Just got a call from 1-888-238-0878 and when I googled it I got this thread.

It was an automated message saying to please call that number regarding an urgent matter.

So I called and I asked the man who answered who they were and he said they were CRS - Contact Resource Services and that they are a collection agency dealing with Rogers deliquent accounts.

I don't have an account in poor standing so I asked who they were calling for.

He asked for my name, which I refused to provide, and I suggested he look me up via telephone number.

Nothing found.

I'm calling Rogers to report this next.

I have received 1 to 2 calls from this number a day.  Each time they say they are looking for a person named Jackie.  Each time I explain that I don't know who that is, and this is a new phone number.  Each time I request they remove my number from their computer.  The rep always says they will, and yet I am still be woken up by their calls.

I just got two call this morning from this number. The first called I missed, because it I was still sleeping. Then it called again and I picked up. There was a message saying " i have an important message, and if i wanted to hear it, i should called the number back 905-855-7515 " I usually don't call anything back coming from some type of operated machines...its weird. Especially reading about what everyone has encountered before. That's all mine did..

This number keeps calling me saying they are a collection agency representing Rogers.  I have called rogers and they have no record of me oweing any money.  this is a fraudulent number.  Please do not give out any info to them!

had this call "*69" from 905-855-7515 several times now and each time the person on the other end got ruder when i would not give up any info.  they ask for a person named louis cororin or something like that they said that my number was attached to legal binding document and wanted my info.  after finding this website I will be contacting my service provider

This agency collects for Rogers cell phone accounts. May be an in-house or closely related company that also does the dirty work for cable clients, etc of Rogers.
