i am getting really mad about ths person who is calling my house everyday 7/24 it needs to stop..

I got this call at 7:10pm EST. Called and when I picked up they hung up. Im guessing its an automated dialer as stated above. Tried to call the 1 800 number above but apparently they are closed at the moment. Left a message and will follow up later.

Received a call from 905-910-1309.  No one answered.  I took your advise and called the 1-800# that is listed above, and had them remove me from thier calling list.  

One question...How do you know the 1-800# is affiliated with the 905#?

Receiving automated called, first in french, then followed in english and then give a confirmation number. I did not know whom it was from since the first part of the call was not recorded on the voice mail message. Finally I get another call, I answer with a simple hello. A mail voice says: Mrs M... I did not answer and within 3 seconds they simply hang up. I traced the number and it is the same as you have listed here. Thanks for the other reports, now I know what this is all about...confusing since I have put my number as unlisted now, so they must have gotten ahold of it just before I changed it's status.

Received a call from "Brandy" from "Shopcofoods".  She complied, very pleasantly, to remove my phone number from the call list.

Just received a call from this number... no one was there and the line went dead within a few seconds.

i got a call and no one there 1:45   from this number

I called the 1-800 and someone from shopcofoods very cordially took my number and last name and said I'd be off their list within two hours. I'll post here again if I keep getting calls.

Got a call from this #. A woman said she spoke to my wife about a big saving in groceries. Told me that she explained everything to wife and that she would need to discuss this with me. I asked my wife who was standing next to me and when my wife took the phone, she hung up.
Very mysterious.

I called the 800 number at shopco foods and a very nice lady
said she would take my number off the telemarketing list.

same as above i asked them to stop so they called back immediatly,to laugh at me then hung up.How can telemarketing still go on in this day and age,why should i have to unlist my number that i pay way to much for to avoid these calls bell canada before u shut the doors on your business PLEASE ELIMINATE TELEMARKETING        DAMN THIS IS STUPID .i go to work(a real job that i have to get up and leave my house to do)and pay all the deductions do these slime have to do this or sit on there fat a**es and bother us.look at all the complaints listed here disconnect them

I just called the 1-800-268-4438 customer service # to have my number removed from the call list of Shopcofoods & the woman on the line didn't let me finish one sentence (obviously she was fielding several calls today of annoyed people!!).....time of call 2:27pm Wed July 30th.  She's obviously heard my story of an annoyed person getting hang-ups at their home before!!!   She was very rude and said "that's just what happens with these phone systems & computer calling...." why does she work in customer service????????

Grateful for all the info here.  I too called the 1-800 # and the woman I got was very polite and helpful.

i just got a call at 6:30 am this morning from this number telling me that my son won a draw for a bike that he entered at one of the local events and that we can pick the bike up at the radio station. before we went down i called to confirm with the radio station that it was there and they knew nothing about it and neither did their head office. what a scam!!!!!! i was told that they were calling from a radio station and when i tried to call it back it just says that the number is no longer in service

got a call from this number (as above), no immediate answer (most likely from an automatic dialer). time of call was midday (12:51 p.m.)

I received one of these calls and I am going to call that 800 number.  I also have received several calls from this number and I worry that they are checking to see if the house is empty and break in.

Just called the 800 number and no is picking up, sorry someone picked up and hung up.  Now I'm going to try the web site.  I spoke with Bell Canada and they told me about this web site and they also put me on the Do Not Call List and I unlisted my phone number too.

Got this call....no answer, a pause, then it clicked over to busy signal. I star 69'd it, then looked it up on Canada 411, and found all these websites and places about this number...

Just had a call from shopco although I am no the do not call list.  I mentioned this to him but he tried to tell me the company that runs the list had gone bankrupt and it no longer existed!  I've reported them to the CRTC.  Anyone receiving these calls should do the same if they have registered with the national do not call service.

I received a phone call today (January 28, 2009) and when I told the caller I was not interested she called me a ****ing b****.  I reported the call to Bell Canada.

Recieved a call from this number that hung up after a few seconds of silence. I called the 1-800-268-4438 and asked the lady to take me off there phone list. She said she would do so. She also mentioned that they have a head set that has a bad microphone so you can't hear anyone talking (??). Called at 1:19 PM today.

this is a joke and it needs to stop,they keep calling and I hang up ,now that i,m not working i should go to their business and sit there all day and harass them

This number just called me so I picked it up and said nothing.  A woman came on the phone and asked for me by my last name - I asked what company she was calling from and she said Shopco Foods.

I just recently had my new telephone number connected, and several times a day for the past week we've been receiving phone calls from 1-905-910-1309.  No one talks, but there is a lot of noise in the background. I've done a reverse look-up on Canada 411.ca, but no personal name or company seems to be registered to this number.

they just called me! just now. present day, march 9th 2009. c***suckers! i told them off, i wrote a letter telling them off, and left a message. i urge everyone else to do the same, complaining about these calls that get you up, to the phone, and for what, to get hung up on, RUDE. i would rather hear a f***ing solicitation to be honest. f***ing a**holes. how common is this type of b.s. on the phone these days? at least its long distance and they're paying, to harass us like this, everytime we answer. wtf though! f*** them. dillhole c***sucker f***ots.

A call from that number--no answer.  I try to return the call and the number is out of service?

Have been getting calls from them as well (June 8th and 9th) I have VOIP and now have that number forwarded automatically to 1(866)791-6601
(National Do not call List office).

no idea who this is but was the person calling was having a conversation with someone and my answering machine picked it up and recorded the conversation which was filled with a series of four letter words.
