Hey I have the best solution as I keep getting the calls.
1. find out the address of your local police station
2. when they call go through the process as if you are buying the package
3. refuse to give any personal information other than to book an appointment, give them a fake name and the address to the police department.

That way you waste their time and cost them some time and money!!!!!!! Have a little fun with them for a change!

2011JUL10, 1pm - The Caller identifies himself as "Steven Brown" who sets up appointments for AIRDUCT CLEANING SERVICES in Scarborough at 905-963-0139.  "Steven Brown" is an alias for a person of Indian descent  "Steven Brown" refuses to delete my telephone number from their calling list unless I agree to see their sales rep by appointment. This caller always talks with a thick Indian accent and always has a radio blaring in the background.  This Indian caller has called before (using a different English name, a week ago) and tries to sell a Long-Distance Telephone Plan.  Although I confront this "Steven Brown", he denies and lies.  His Ultimate Plan is probably to achieve a money transfer by Western Union.  I tell this Steven Brown that he is trying to scam me and I am not interested.

The phone number 905-963-0139 is assigned to Gt Group Telecom Services Corp and the actual exchange location is in Hamilton, ON. There seems to be a link to cellphone provider, Bharatiya Mobile, in Andhra Pradesh.  Andhra Pradeshis a state situated on the southeastern coast of India.

I got a call from this 905-963-0139 number. An East Indian fellow who was claiming (disturbingly adamant about it) that he was calling from The Royal Bank. He lasted about 3.2 seconds before I informed him where he could go. Try fishing in another pond chump.

Ironically, my better half got a call from a different company just a day earlier from a 705 number. Different company it appears; I believe these yahoos are called FamTel or something. Point is they too were claiming to be RBC. When asked what RBC stands for they quite arrogantly replied "Well, the Royal Bank of Canada of course" (what are you stupid or something). Funny thing is they were apparently offering protection against identity theft (pot/kettle/black) LOL.

These jokers are completely fearless; quite scary actually. Hold on to your wallets people.

Caller claimed to be with some real estate group.  Hard to be sure because of plenty of chatter in the background, likely a telemarketing scammer bucket shop. I hung up.

Just got the call - they said that I filled out a ballot and that "I'm a luck winner of one of 5 fabulous prizes"

I just show up at 6175 Hwy 7 Unit #6 in Woodbridge to draw for one of the 5 prizes - 1 prize is a TV, 2. $1500 3. Florida Vacation 4. Another T.V. 5. Dining room set

I finally got "The supervisor" on the phone and he said that you come down and draw for a prize. All I need to do is listen to them talk about the company for an hour and half......

I'm sure it doesn't end there - and likely walk away with nadda.....

Waste of time......

I was first contacted by this group of fraudsters in April. The one who spoke with me congratulated me for being a lucky winner of 1 out of 5 prizes. I made it clear to him it must have been a mistaken identity but he insisted and read out to me my bio-data to convince me I am the beneficiary. He asked that I should come in person with my wife to come and claim the prize. When I told him my wife was out of the country and was not going to return soon he suggested I should come with my girlfriend. I told him it is not in my character to engage in immorality he then suggested I contact a close friend so that my friend’s wife could stand in place of my wife.
My God! I was stunned because one, I told him I am not immorally-inclined as he must have thought so I do not have a girlfriend yet he was not ashamed. Two, why the desperation about a prize! I assured him he could claim and keep the phantom prize in my behalf. The address I was given that time was around Hurontario. About an hour ago, the same group has contacted me wondering why I have not called and asking that my prize is still waiting for me.  But these crooks are wise by half! This time, the address I was given is Woodbridge based.  Time to redeem my prize is between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. I am expected to come along with my wife. I must necessarily call between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm in order to be able to speak with a kingpin who claimed to be the ‘Senior Manager’ without a specific designation. The number to call is 905-963-0139. I hope their acts will catch up with them somehow. I am neither greedy nor gullible. I know that in this life nothing is free and so there is no way I could have been running after a God-knows what ‘prize’. Do not be deceived, this is a clear case of fraud. Watch out!!!!!!

just got a call from lady claiming to be from 'premium grand inc'. Told me I won one of 5 prizes. It sounds like a real scam. lady claiming to be calling me from Woodbridge-yet the call rang as a long distance call and the connection was extremely poor. She had a very strong accent. Anyways, I had her on the phone for 10 min. Curious to hear what she had to say even though right from the start I knew it was a scam. When I wouldn't verify that she had my correct address/age range (which by the way was a range of about 30 years), she hung up. Don't fall for this scam. It is a scam.

By the way, William Lee is not necessarily a fictitious name.  Maybe William grew up in India and his Dad was Chinese or English.  Let's not ethnically profile people by their surnames.
Despite their claims to the contrary, we have identified the call type as "Telemarketer".

I got a Call from same number It Sounds like Same Company, Same Pitch, Same story but this time the person whom i spoke with was a very decent fellow (i don't remember the name). He Told me the same story about the 5 prizes & the coupon of mine (which was not mine) but i trusted that fellow & went to their location. i was suppose to sit for a 90minutes presentation for the promotion of their company & i did so.. and after drawing my prize i got a Furniture Set for my Bed room. it was quite Good for me to have a prize for just an advertisement of the new company. I am a costumer & member of premiums buyers club now and i am pretty sure that its all Legal..
