Didn't get to answer it. I see that the area code is Ontario but, curious who it was.
didn't answer and nobody left a message, called back and got a recording saying "the number you have dialed has been disconnected"...wondering how they do that....
they can set incoming calls to go to a "line disconnected" message. I have similar system at home (asterisk) and put these numbers on a blacklist. Next time they call they get the tones and message that my number is no longer in service.
did not answer. when i called back the number I got "movie moms/feature films for families"
Is this number Feature Films for families?.I have ordered movies from them and they are very "family friendly".I only order once or twice a year.. I have had no trouble with them but yes they do keep calling from time to time but they do not force the issue if I say "NO"...I forgot the number..
Feature Films for Families is a Utah-based company that produces family-friendly movies (no profanity, sexuality, violence, or vulgarity; but lots of traditional family values and morality). It is run largely by members of the "Latter-day Saints" (Mormons), however it is a private company that is NOT a non-profit charity (they are in business to make money). While the movies are good they may be a little overpriced, so you'll want to find out the prices before listening to the tele-marketer's whole sales pitch. Feature Films for Families has violated Missouri?s No Call law and has been sued by Verizon Wireless for illegal automated telemarketing.
They call from many different phone numbers. I have compiled a list of their phone numbers (but it's probably very incomplete). Here is my list of phone numbers used by Feature Films for Families:
I have REPEATEDLY asked these people (Feature Films) to NOT phone here anymore. They completely IGNORE my request. I want this firm blocked from being able to call my number.
Called them back- told them we were on the NCL and they apoligized and said it won't happen again. We will see.
The caller is Feature Films. They start out very polite but you get a high pressure sales pitch wanting credit card info once you say you are not interested. I had respect for the organization at one point. That has totally gone down the tubes. They also keep changing their number.
I bought from them once, and now they wont leave me alone, yes it is an automated voice with someone speaking behind to make the voice say what they want it, if you say i wnat to talk to a real person you will eventually get through...
Annoying as all get out now
Didn't answer but these people sure are persistent. These 3 phone numbers are on my call display today ...
From other posts I've read, all 3 numbers belong to Featured Films for Families and Family Telecom.
called no message
im 90% sure that it is a robot. one of the best i've seen, but it's slighty off in its responses and response time
They asked if I wanted to answer a survey - I said no.
The girl was polite but I could tell she really wanted me to answer the survey. When I asked her to take me off her calling list, she didn't respond - it was like she had disappeared!
I have told these people to STOP calling my number because I have a blocked number and they just keep calling using different numbers.
"Feature Films For Families". Starts as a supposed 90-second survey on attitudes with regards violence and profanity in movies, quickly turns into a high pressure sales pitch asking for credit card information.
If it's feature films for families, its ok. I have purchased several movies from them and they are good. I never know who to answer any more their name did not show.
didn't answer, no one left a message. When called back message states it is Feature films for families.
