I asked to speak on the phone to a supervisor. I ended up speaking with some gravely jerk who claims his name is Mike Fiber. Over and over again he's saying "We're a pretty big company. We're a pretty big company. We're a national company like Brinks or ADT." Yeah, sure. Then why are you using telemarketers instead of national TV commercials? "Oh, we just do this one kind of advertising so we can keep your price down." I am sure this guy thinks he could talk the panties off of a preacher's wife, but try to get him to tell you the exact make and model of system. Tell him you want to see how much it would cost to buy it yourself. "Oh, it's not one of those cheap systems like you'd get at Costco or Radio Shack. You find these in all the bigger airports." First off, I thought, well what the hell do I want such a system in my two room store for? But then I said, that's fine, just tell me the make and model so I can look it up on the Internet and do some research on it. Mike Fiber never did give me that make and model.

You know, I must admit.  I understand the feeling of being called by telemarketers, before the do not call list.  People asking for my mom, calling hour after hour, day after day.  I will tell you, that I do work for one of the marketing offices for this company.  Just started a couple months ago, and to tell you the truth, I might have called you from this number.
Many people might think we change our number, we don?t.  We have 7 offices with at least 10 people in each office, and as we know, each phone has to have a different number.  So no we are not trying to be sneaky.
For the many of you that think that the DNC list is going to save your business from this, what you call harassment, is not going to work.  If your phone number is a business there is no DNC list.  EVEN if your business is through your home.  We get all of our numbers from INFO USA and if you don?t want your number on that, I would suggest getting a hold of them to take it off, or get it out of the phone book.  We are trying to do business.  Business to business calls are allowed.  You can even check the DNC rules and regulations.  We are not trying to sell you anything over the phone; we don?t have for any credit card information or checking information.  The only thing we want to do is find some time that is convenient for you, the owner, to show you what we have.
I will also tell you that if you are rude, chances are, we will call back.  There is nothing as annoying as a person that keeps calling you, as a rude person.  Everyday I call thousands of businesses wanting the owner.  A lot of the times the owner will say ?Hey, I am not interested? and I will take them off the list.  Many of the times they might say something like ?We already have security? and we are trained to ask about camera systems or something for your home.  A little kindness does really go a long way.
We would love to take people off the list if it?s the owner, a partner, spouse, or child/parent.  Think if you contracted a person to come in and clean your officer every day and your secretary says we don?t need you anymore, without you knowing.  You come into work and the place is a mess, what are you going to think?  My manager actually talked to a secretary who asked to be taken off the list, and of course, our job states we can?t do that without talking to the owner, couldn?t do that.  He nicely said ?well I would love to do that ma?am, if you just put me through, and he says no, I would be glad to take it off the list.?  She put him through, and you know what he said?  ?Come on out!?  Bought two of our systems turned to his secretary and said you?re fired for not putting him through and lying.
No we are not scammers.  No we are not druggies.  No we are not bad people.  We are trying to work to make money to support ourselves in this falling economy.  Myself, I am a student in college just trying to make some money to continue my education to better myself.  No, this isn?t the greatest job in the world, but jobs are really hard to come by this time of day.  One day I plan on having a job that is much better, and I will look back and say that this telemarketing job helped shape my future by making me money.  It helped me better myself by putting me through college.
Just listen to us, say you?re not interested, or do not call me.  As long as you are the owner and you?re nice, many of us will be happy to take you off our list.  By saying do not call is the best way though.  It makes us put DNC by your name.  Then if by some reason we have to give those pages to somebody else, they will know not to call you too. =)

Just a little insite on the situation.  Please dont call me sleezy or talk bad about me, because you dont know me.  I just want a little respect just like you do.

Sir I have just read your complaint on PCA Security. I thought I would give some insight to other viewers out there.  I have looked at the equipment that PCA offers and it is a great system.  When it comes to your installation problem you really should have said something before you signed off on the system.  Your talking about $1000.00's dollars worth of equipment that is now used equipment.  If you buy a car, once you sign your final contracts you would not take it back later and expect the dealer to just give you your money back. Think about that.  If you had a problem with the system in the beginning really you should not have signed a final acceptance of the system.  I think something else is going on here. To all that read this I'm sure the company offered to send out another tech to fix the problem this man just wanted his money back.

I just purchased a security system from PCA Security(did not lease so I could save 1,600 instead of locked into 5 year lease)for the price of 4,860.00.  I was told it is the only system that would hold up in court-- state police could use the photos to enhance . . . I asked the person that installed the system to bring the wires inside with the cable wire.  He drilled a hole in the drywall instead --a large hole enough for 4 large white cables to fit thru.  I received two cameras--which arrived by UPS to the person that installed the system while he was checking where to put the cameras--strange that when he opened the box that was delivered that it had 3 cameras in it not 2.  I did need a third-actually a fourth camera.  I called to ask the cost of third camera that had arrived and was told 1,200.00.  I declined. I contacted the state police over the weekend to ask if what I was told was true about the only system that would hold up in court-the answer was no.  I checked online about these folks--not good!! I priced systems with cameras and did not find even with the best systems anything that cost that much even with 4  cameras--oh yea, one of the cameras that was mounted on my house was aimed at a tree???  I emailed 3 times to tell them I wanted to cancel-no one returned with a call or email, therefore I called and asked to speak to the person I purchased the system from (who had requested a cashiers check instead of a pesonal check).  That person did not answer the phone--another person answered--asked me why I wanted to return the system--I told him my reasons (which I did not need to tell him) and he  told me I could not return the system--that I signed a paper the day of the installion agreeing that I could not return it.  I was emailed  a Buyers Right to Cancel/Notice of Cancellation when I ordered the system which I faxed to the company over the weekend. The man told me did not have to nor did he wish to continue the conversation with me--I told him I did not want to either--that I was calling my lawyer-then I hung up.  He called me back -left a message to call him that we must have been cut off??  Back to the installation--The white cables were not attached to my roof and there are several--the man that installed the system told me I needed to get a brick to put on the wire before it snowed so the wired would not fall/pull off the roof??  He did not tell me how to use the system-showed me a remote-and told me it wasn't hard to figure out.  He took all the boxes the equipment came in and took them with him--his van had a New Jersey Tag on it??  I left a message with my attorney to call me.  What a mess!!!!!

You're right beyond words that the people who work for PCA Security would never land a job with your company.  I myself worked for one of their offices just last year. First off, if you do back ground checks or drug tests about 99% of the PCA people would be instantly disqualified. Among other things, many of these folks sell their blood weekly for extra money to buy booze, smokes, or drugs of all varieties. Most of them can describe the inside of their local county jail with explicit detail. They would steal money or prescription drugs out of your purse without one second of thought to the moral or legal aspects of their actions (assuming they didn't just steal the whole purse.) I, myself, am a paragon of corrupted morals, slanted ethics, and creative vice. I fit in very well. We dressed in ripped jeans and stained tee shirts. Some people had holes in their shoes. Many knew the experience of having their kids taken away. They all know about casual sex and talk about it with abandon. Christine, the words you, and others, have written about the poor relationship-building phone-skills PCA people use are a wasted effort; PCA employees care about their next fix, their next bottle of booze, their next appointment at the Social Services office. Your life of hard work and self exploration are as alien to them as a trusted friend or a committed partner; you might as well be speaking the language of an extraterrestrial.
You are all wrong.
You are all wrong.

This "security company" called my business asking for the our business manager after I told her that person was unavailable that I could not give her any information she then told me that I just screwed up my business then hung up the phone.  I called the number back and the lady that answered the phone her greeting was just 'security' once she figured out the nature of my call she too hung up.  Appearently that company has nothing better to do, what a shame.

Called and asked to speak to my husband. I asked to be put on their do-not-call list. I informed the caller that our line has been a personal, residential line for over 6 months and is no longer a business line. She refused to put us on their do not call list without speaking to my husband. I'm filing a complaint against them.

Called our business and asked for my husband. Refused to leave a message or identify himself or his business.  We are on the Do Not Call list, so he's in violation.

These people keep calling everyday, several times a day.  The caller ID says PCA Security.  Don't know what they want, they always ask for my husband, who owns a heating & cooling business.  Won't leave a message when asked to do so, just keeps calling back.
