Got a call from 550-9700 at 11 am. Didn't pick up but the guy left a message, I coud barely understand a word he said but it sounded like he said his name was Margridge, or something like that.  No idea what else he said. . .

I received a call from 907-550-9700 this evening, some woman with a horrible Indian accent saying she was from some computer service company. The moment I started to confront her about her being a scam, that I don't even have home computer, and why would they call people just to scam them, and that she must feel really horrible for what she does; the phone went dead.

Just got a call from  907-550-9700.  There was a LOT of background noise and a man with very poor English said that he was from some computer company calling to check on my computer.  I hung up.

Yesterday received a call from this number according to caller ID (Anonymous). He said he was calling from American Financial about a credit card debt. Then he said "We have information that you have over $10,000 in credit card debt that you'd like to pay off, right?" I said, "No. Where did you get this information?" but he had disconnected. Today I got a call from 907-550-9800 (Anonymous) - which may or may not be associated with this same outfit - woman asked for me by my first name and then disconnected after I said it was me.  I am on the National Do Not Call list.  It's extra infuriating when they hang up before you can say STOP CALLING or when you've been disturbed by a call that has no one at the other end.  BTW, American Financial website IS a debt reduction outfit - on their website they have a Consumer Alert that says someone is impersonating them with phone number that is not either of these numbers.

The caller with a foreign accent said he was from Deptartment of Law and wanted my attorney's information. I hung up on him.

Answered this call, man with very, very, very bad english was attempting to give me a pre approved loan - sounds like a scammer   BEWARE OF THIS IDIOT...............................

GOt a call from these idiots. THe fake accent was sooooo funny.. I laughed at the guy and told him that he should probably not call the FBI when running a scam and he hung right up.  
What you need to do is call the FBI and tell them that these people are calling and claiming to be from the FBI and that they need to connect to your computer. If enough people do that the FBI will investigate...  lol

Yep, just got the microcom emergency with my pc scam call.

The 550 9700 guy has been calling several times. Does not leave messages on aswering machine. When picked up phone, he had thick Middle Eastern accent and claimed he was going to service my computor. He started yelling at me when I told him my pc was fine and I do not want him calling back. My caller ID read Microcom. When I called Microcom they said they do not service computors and do not know who this guy is, but they will look into it.

person with very broken english continues to call my work phone and cell phone (recorded government line)   Person was notified that if they continue to call that it could result in an investigation of the person and their company (which by the way was never identified).

Elderly woman friend called me for help. Said she is getting numerous calls from 907-550-9700 & 9800 from person with strong accent and broken english stating they are from MicroCom, and they need to replace her Medicare card (they called it a book).  Said she needed to give them her bank account number to replace the card!  She has reported it to the police.  Obvious text book scam.  If your getting such calls please call the police and Medicare.  Microcom is listed here in Alaska as a satelite/tv company.

The 550-9700 called guy with Indian accent said he was from Windows and there was an emergency with my computer.  I know that's bs because I just got it all cleaned up by my local computer genius Dan McMullen at TechSolutions.  So I hung up on him.  They called back about 10 more times.  Creeps.

Got a call, ID name was MICROCOM, the guy said they were getting messages from my pc, I could barely understand him, he had an Indian accent, wanted me to turn on my computer so he could check it out (lol! yeah, ok) told him I'd call him back, the number he gave was 020-328-65123 (yes, 65123)

WoW! some people...I decided to answer this time...and the person on the other end could barely speak english! I kept telling him to get some1 that can speak english...lmao...he hung up on me!

same here...ansered it and the person on the other end spoke very BAD english!...couldn't understand him at all!

I got a call today.  Caller ID read "Anonymous".  Hung up on the answering machine.

Called but didnt leave message. Dont like calling unknown numbers back. Have had too many bad experiences.

same here....she call twice, ask my name and suddenly the connection was cut...

There was no area code on my caller ID system and no message was left.

These are the same guys as 907-550-9800.  I bet my paycheck that is a scam.  If you only get one ring and a hang up it most likely because they call multiple people at once and take the first call that is picked up.  Here is a link to the Federal trade Commission website that might help get rid of these jerks:

I have got a total of 6 calls in the last 2 hours and have not picked up the phone once before I was hung up on.  If these guys called you please report it some how.  I am going to post this message on the other page also.
