Got another call today. It is blocked but I decided to call the number and see who it really is. It is New Jersey State Law Enforcement Officers Association. They had our name and address so they already know more than I would like. Probably bought list from municipality and maybe just from public records. A little research shows they were sued by the state a few years ago for not following regulations for soliciting funds. The agreed to change their ways and paid a $50,000.00 fine. Research shows they only spend $11.00 out of $100.00 toward charity - the rest goes to pay people to solicit money (and pay fines). Better to give directly to your local police

They called again in the evening. Left no message. Caller ID: Westfield, NJ Wonder how long they will keep this up.

Sunday morning and they called again. Since I blocked the call I only got one ring but even that can be annoying. I did take time to put this here as it might help other people. ID this time was back to Westfield, NJ.

They called again today. Ha Ha I blocked the call last night so heard only one ring. ID was just the phone number.

Ran out of room on my call block so got a call from them again today. As usual no message left. This time the ID was just the number.

Got call on land line again today (they called yesterday) and I didn't answer this time either. They didn't leave a message so it isn't important. Second time puts them in my Call Block memory.

908-264-2969 calling regularly. They do not leave a message. Very annoying. This is supposed to be coming from a Westfield,NJ land line. When called back they do not pick up.

Got call on land line about half hour ago. I did not answer and they left no message. Must not have been important. ID said "Westfield, NJ" First "scam' of the day - usually get 3 or 4 per day.
