I just placed an ad on classifiedads.com and began receiving calls from 908-279-8800. They called 5 times within a 2 minute time frame. They didn't leave a message, so I suppose it's not important enough for them to want a reply from me. LOL  If your phone doesn't reject certain numbers automatically I suggest saving unwanted numbers in your phone and then choosing "silent" for their ringtone. That way you don't get bugged with your phone ringing all the dang time. :)

Plainfield, NJ ... I am not interested in what they are offer so I said that and this woman was rude to me because I don't wan to pay her for that service. In the end she said: WHY YOU DONT CLOSE YOIR BUSSINESS. Haha really???

Just signed onto Hotfrog and the solicitation calls started within seconds.

They said it was the us directory although they were extremely rude. I told them it wasn't the fact that it was five dollars it was the fact that they were being rude and trying to force me to pay and I do hope the conversation is recorded so their supervisor can hear how rude they are.

Got a call from this number.  The caller disn't leave a message.

Same with me - just registered my biz on Manta and got a few calls even though my phone number is not publicly listed =\ UGH.

Started receiving calls within 30 minutes of adding business listing to Manta. They have called repeatedly for 30 minutes now.
Oh boy... thank goodness my phone has an automatic reject feature!

Got many calls from 908-279-8800  and 888-217-5736; the same company.  They say it is  U.S. Directory.  
I asked them to get me off of their list; they said if they do, they will remove my business name from Online directories.  I am sure many businesses fall for that and open their wallet to give them their credit card.    Where is a good cop when you need one?

Not sure who it is, but they never leave a message to my cell phone. I hardly ever use it, but when I check messages, they are always there.

I picked up the phone from this number, but only heard some background noise and they hung up without saying anything
