This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!.  It doesn?t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  And never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robo callers will then capture your number as a ?live one? and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:

Im on "Do Not Call" and keep getting calls from this # 908-325-5579

Download M.r Number and program them as spam and it will block them on your smart phone. Too many crazy fraud and spam calls these days.

I just received a call from this number. Like others, no person, no "take me off your list" option. Also on the DNC list. Irritating to say the least...

Go to the DO Not Call Registry web site and lodge a complaint!  If enough people do this, they will be shut down and fined stiff penalties.  Spread the word on the forums please... these guys need to stop calling!  They actually called on a Sunday in the evening and we are on the Do Not Call list.

Got a call from this number.  On my Verizon phone, I can add any number to my "reject list," so you don't even know when they call again.

I am also, on the DO NOT CALL LIST...I just signed up several days ago. This is the first time the 908 number called. I didn't answer. I'm noticing most everyone posting about this number, are on the do not call list. Could the "do not call list" actually be the reason we are being called? This is my cell number, which is the one I signed up to not be called. I have never had an unknown call til now! Hummm... ... ...

The message was a recording saying "How would you like to make $500 a day", then I hung up. I am also on a do NOT call list, but apparently that list is a bunch of bull s*** because they still keep on calling. These guys have called several times, and tonight I finally blocked them using Mr Number. It would be so awesome to send people like this to prison for 5 years every time they break the law like this... Heck a .44 magnum would be good to!

With all the technology in the world why can't we stop companies from doing this? What is the world will it take to get our government involved enough to STOP this?

this is ridculous...they just keep calling!

I got a call from this # today on my landline and did not pick up; no message was left.  I read someplace that you can answer these types of calls and press the # key a bunch of times and it will trick the autodialer into thinking the number is no longer valid.  I'm not sure if it works, but it's certainly worth a try!

Got a call with a recorded message about making thousands of dollars. They called me ms Maxwell. That's not my name. Anyway I did not press 1 as they suggested in the message, because I am totally not interested in their info. I think it's a scam. BTW I am on the no call list.

Received a call from this number tonight - a recorded telemarketer with no way to speak to anyone.  I'm on the do not call list and they called a cell phone number.  NO.
