This same # dialed me twice today at 5:40 and 6:50pm and all I heard was voices and music right before they hung up.  WHen I dial back it says that the number is "not in service".  What's up with that?  How is it not in service yet they dial people and hang up like they do?

I have gotten 5 or 6 calls today from this number.  I answered it twice.  I didn't hear anything so I hung up immediately.  I thought it was going to be some kind of recorded message. It is some scam to steal phone numbers or IDs? What can be done about this?

got a call from this number they asked if I was who I was and I said "Yes," which I know I should not have done, so now I am concerned, and then they hung up!

ITs a DeBt Consolidation number. It is an outgoing only number !

I keep getting the same call from the same number only if i answer it, it starts ringing like i am trying to call them. i reported them to the do not call list, but apparently that doesnt do anything. they have called me about 10 times in the last two weeks. it is a new jersey phone number, and i live in new jersey which is the only reason i answered it. is there anything that can be done? i tried to call them back to tell them to stop calling and it told me the number was not in service.

I just received a call today at 11:00am 11/18/08.  The caller did not leave a voice message.

I was out but caller ID captured the number and city (Gladstone NJ).

908 326 8053 called me and said they were calling from Verizon but I have caller IDand it did not say Verizon. Isaid I don't want to speak to you, then she had the nerve to call back and ask for the owner so I used some very bad words!

I have seen this number a few times on my caller ID but no message is left.

In that last entry by me, I meant to type 'There was approx. a sec of some type of drum beeat, then the caller hung up.

I recieved an unknown call that was made to my home on:
4-12-2008 at 6.52 pm, caller ID showed that this was the
# that called (908-326-8053). There was appox. a min of some type of drum beat, then the caller hung up.

Sounded like classical music playing on my voice mail, then it ended after a few short seconds.  I don't recognize the number.  The vm came in at about 6:00 Easter Standard Time.  Mine is a Chicago 312 number.  This has never happened before.

Who is the caller?  So much for federal laws prohibiting solicitation calls.
