Did you stay at Yosemite or Reno, NV in July 2012? I started getting telemarketing calls after completing a phone survey for a Reno, NV hotel I stayed in. The telemarketing calls got worse after I received a automated calls from Yosemite regarding the hantavirus outbreak during my stay. Was my phone number sold by the hotel's survey contractor or Yosemite (actually Deleware North Companies)?? Did this happen to you too?? Solution: Never take a phone survey. Never answer a number you don't recognize.

I also get called by this number a minimum of 3 times a day. I'm also on the "Do Not Call" registry.
#1: You have to reapply to Do Not Call every 6 months or so. But many will call anyway. By the way, I have an unlisted number but these clowns get a hold of my number anyway.
#2: I have Comcast cable and they provide a free service where I can block up to 20 phone numbers. If you have them too you can access this service by dialing *60. Thats (star 60). It will talk you through how to block numbers you want. You can add or remove numbers as you desire.
If you have another cable service, give them a call as most have call blocking features available.

Get several calls a day from 908 388 1154. Caller I'd is Bloomsbury MJ. They never leave a message. Calls have been coming for weeks at least 3 or 4 times a day. I'm on every do not call list! This is rediculous. I wouldn't have a home phone if elderly mother didn't live with me and need it for her lifeline

I've been getting calls from this number as well as 908 388 1152, same old electricity government deregulation scam. I've filled up my blocked call on my phone system with these numbers as well as others....Also get one from Keyport, NJ. A while back it was PSEG, now says JCPL. JCPL is not our provider. They've already called twice today...

Finally picked up after weeks of calls from this and another number 9083881152 - same company. This number just called so I hit 5 and said I want my number taken off your list and got hung up on.
5 mins later got a call from 9083881152 hit 5 again - asked for THEIR name - and then said take me off your list immediately. we shall see if it works.

Here we go again! I received several calls from an energy company about saving.....finally answered the phone after I heard a message that was left and part of the message was "push 3 if you're not interested" which I did and they continue!!!!!! I normally don't answer, I had heard the message before and decided to try to push a number and see if they keep calling! Lo and behold now they are calling from another number. Will never answer again!! STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transcript:
"Hello, this is pertaining to your current electric bill with J. C. P. & L. Due to recent state government de-regulation you are now eligible to receive a discount on your electric bill. Press 3, to be taken off the energy savings program, or press 5 to be transferred to our representative to find out which discount you're eligible for. Press 5, to be transferred to one of our friendly Representatives."
It will repeat several times.
