Well, I usually check numbers out before I respond to texts without names, but I was busy today so just sent the info via email as requested. He just wanted pics and info and video on a horse that was advertised on equine now. No response to my request about where he was. I found this page when I searched after the fact. I won't waste any more time with him for sure.

Glad I looked this guys number and email up before I contacted back. I received a text from this Phillip Anderson at 1 in the morning asking me to email him telling him everything about my horse. The red flags I got was the fact that I was contacted well into the night and that my ad has everything about my horse already on it with multiple images of what she can do. I can believe hes been doing this for 2 years now. Glad I didn't fall for this. I do not know the address he is at but the phone number he contacted from is 208-953-1753 and wanted me to email phillip01ander@gmail.com

Not 20 mins ago I got a text from the same 208-953-1753 asking me to send pic and details to his email (phillip66ander@gmail). He just uses the word "pup". Definitely a scam!! I never respond if it feels off to me. This guy needs taken care of.

Well it is now 2014 and "Phillip Anderson" is still alive and continuing to scam..Now he is supposedly located in Cascade, Idaho at 149 N Front St using the e-mail address phillip66ander@gmail. com

I got the exact same message about some puppies I had for sale. Different road number but same road.

just had the same thing happen today he is phillip66... now.

I got a text from this person this morning, (208) 953-1753, and he told me to email him info on my horse for sale to phillip01ander@gmail.com. Sounded strange to begin with and I looked up the area code and found out it was in Idaho which is a long way away from me. I emailed him just to see what he was going to say and I got the same crap about reliable transportation and he wanted to know my lowest price and if he could send me a cashiers check or money order. Big red flag for me. I tried looking up him name phone number and the address he gave me,  4023 N Boyer Ave  Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, and here I am. I'm not sure if he's actually trying to get the products we have for sale but rather get all our contact info and use it for something else.

This guy contacted me also about a Quarter pony I have for sale, same email as everyone else. Something seemed thrown off about a buyer purchasing a horse without even coming to look at it. If it seems screwy it probably is, always go with your gut instinct.

Got multiple emails and texts about my Great Dane puppies.  Got uneasy when he started asking for lowest price and sending a reliable shipper.  Googled him and found this info.  What does he do?  Thinking pick up pets and never send money.  Or worse, abuse them

If you are not a fraud also why would you put your  allegedname in this article and then tell people not to let anyone know ... THE INTERNET IS OPEN YOU KNOW> DUH<

This idiot tried this with me too- Same exact MO- sounded like a Nigerian scam. Hope someone busts him. Same address- we googled Earth it and it is not a residence.

This person responded to my ad for puppies also- his grammar was wrong, punctuation weird and syntax wrong. It sounded like one of those Nigerian scams. He said all the same things in his email to me. What a jerko.

Thank you all for reporting it. He contacted us about a puppy as pet and gave us a business address of 119 N Front St, Cascade, ID. Same story with arranging shipping and sending money order or cashier checks. He used phillip66ander as email and phone 208-953-1753. He is only replying with text and email. His email is now reported as scam.

I've been emailing and texting a PHillip Anderson from 101 N. Front St, Cascade, ID 83611 who now I find out is a scammer. He was going to send me a money order for more than the amount for my furniture to pay for shipping (about $900 over the amount) . This red flag got my attention after I already had given him a mailing address for my husbands' business to send the money. I see many have been scammed by this man his email address is phillip66ander@gmail.com . Phone #208-953-1753.

He is using a different number now. I received a text as well from him but the number is now (609) 373-2125  and he is using the phillip55ander@gmail.com as an email. I did not reply as it wreaked of scam. Just know he's using a different number now.

I got the same sort of message from him via text message & e-mail.  Had a bad feeling just based on the info in the e-mail so I looked him up just on the address & found all this info.  I had already gave him the info I wasn't willing to send a puppy to someone I didn't know or had not been recommended to me by someone I know.  So glad I listened to my gut feelings & looked him up! Replied to his e-mail telling him I would not sell him a puppy & to not contact me again!

I'm so glad of google. Something just didn't sit right with me so I googled Phillip Anderson and low and behold I see all of the replys listed as a scammer. He was inquiring about furniture I had online. I didn't think it was a problem because I do items listed but when he was willing to buy furniture that wasn't listed and had not seen pictures, I grew Leary. Wanted to send me a cashiers check or money order and have someone he knew pick it up. I'm a couple of states away from home so I grew very concerned. Please be aware of this person!

He had the nerve to write God Bless in his second email which talked about his children wanting a puppy.

Got a text yesterday from him, he used 2089531753 phone number asking for me to email phillip01ander@gmail.com and gave me the address; 174 N Front St Cascade, Idaho 83611  .  I have my mare up for $800, and he asked me if I could lower my price and if I would accept cashier check. He said he would handle shipping because he apparently has a "reliable shipper" He asked for my  full name, contact address, and phone number. I hope they catch this guy.

got a text from him last night. said he wanted to buy my gelding..... my add was on dream horse. he said he had his own transportation. and would send a cashiers check. I never gave address. only phone number..He used the 174 Front street address. I he calls I will report it.

Thank you everyone!  I almost sent him my info, but then his address looked fishy and this came up on a google search.  But, he did the same with me, texted asking to e-mail more information.  I am trying to sell our two horses and he even played along giving a reason for why he wanted the horse. He used the e-mail... phillip01ander@gmail.com.   Also, he gave me 174 N Front St Cascade, Idaho 83611 as an address.  And he keeps asking if he can send a cashiers check.  I hope this helps put a stop to him, or at least that no one else has to fall for this scheme!

I also have put out an add to sell my pitbull pups and have been hit by his scammer too.  He texted me then asked me to email him info. at the same email address with the 55 in it not the 44. He then Said he was ok with my price and wanted a pet in his home and would send a cashiers check or money order.  So thanks again!!! I could have fallen victim to this person.

This person text asking for information and then wanted to purchase using cashier's check.  He is asking for my address and phone number and used his own address as 174 N. Front St. Cascade, ID which is a hotel and park.  Do not reply to this person.

They have not done anything yet since he texted my cell phone for more info on a horse I was selling....b*****ds.

He's still at it.  Listed my horse on equinenow.com and got a text from number 478-227-8651 asking to email to phllip01ander@gmail.com.  I knew it sounded fishy as I had all the details of my horse in the add.

same here in  nc  emailed him back saying I needed to talk with him over the phone before he got a pup from me,no response from him
