Same number has been calling about four times a day for the past week, so i just blocked the number through Sprint.com took 5 minutes

This number calls me constantly. I don't pick up. There was another area code that called but i blocked that number. It was also from NJ. I am just going to block this number too.

Two calls from this number. Did not answer.

Got a call from this number last month and the charge was $75 for that call

I've received 4 calls from John this week. The 1st time he called, I asked to be removed from his list and for him to not call again. He politely said that he would do so. But then the next day he called again. I was annoyed, called him an a$$hole, and hung up on him. Maybe not my finest moment. The third time he called, it was from a different number. I missed the call and he left no message. I know it was him though, because he called back later today. Anyway, at this point I decided that if he was going to mess with me that I would mess with him. I acted like he was calling from Dominoes. I asked him if he offered free toppings. He got confused, there was a long pause and then he said "Uh, what?". So I asked if he maybe had a coupon for a free soda. He said, "uh, that's a great question for one of our specialists. If I could just get verification that you own your home first, I can transfer you." So, I asked him again about free delivery, extra toppings and a free soda. He finally said "...yes" and then hung up on me. Huzza!

This just happened, so I don't know if it will be effective yet to get him to stop calling, but it was entertaining to say the least. If he calls again, I'll probably either do it again, or start asking him another line of questioning. It could be awesome if multiple people that he calls started doing this.

It's probably worth noting that a few months ago, the same guy was calling my wife's number with the same message. Despite her efforts, he wouldn't leave her alone until she finally threatened to report him as she's on the "Do not call" list. After that, he never called that number again.

Received a call from this number twice, I finally answered.  He said his name is John, he wanted to place an advertising sign in my yard in exchange for a free home security system.  As soon as I told him it's not an option because I live on a military base, he hung up without saying another word. I'd say it's a bit sketchy and not to trust this number.

I've gotten this call once yesterday and again the day before. No message. First time was a hang up.
I'm over in southwest Ohio. This is definitely a north Jersey area code, I grew up in the area.
At first I thought it was some old friend trying to track me down, but upon calling back it dosn't even ring and then the call gets disconnected..

called but left no message.  Have gotten 4 so far it's getting to be a pain. I have a sick sister in NJ and everytime I see NJ I think something went wrong.

Received three calls.  Two times, no msg.  Last time, I answered and no one was there.

They have called multiple times. Once I answered and no one answered but I could tell the line was active

Called twice in Texas within an hour.

THIS NUMBER CALLS ME ALL THE TIME

I'm in NJ, this is (supposedly) from a phone in North Jersey.  Upon answering I spoke with one man who said he was representing some police association.  He transferred me to another man who asked how much of a contribution they could "put me down for" before sending out information package in the mail.  I repeated several times that I would not make any decisions without seeing something in writing.  He confirmed my address and said information would be mailed out within two or three days.  (We'll see . . . .)

I asked to have my number put on their "Do Not Call" list and he said that it would be.

Have received many calls witin the last week,whoever leaves no message!

This number has called me about 5 times, never leaves a message. I'm going to answer the next time and ask if they could give me a ride to the hospital as I'm in labor with their child.

Got this call in Virginia, didn't answer.  No message left.

I get this call once a day, no one I know and never leaves a message. Really annoying!

Just got called.  This is the fourth time I've been called by the same org trying to offer me a free home security system in exchange for placing an advertising sign on my lawn.  I asked the guy if there was a way to be removed from the calling list and he said, "Thanks for your help!"  And then hung up.  I tried calling the number back because often you can opt out of their calling list this way.  Of course, the user voice mail inbox was full.  Great.  If anyone knows how to make presumptuous a**** like this company give an opportunity to exit from their calling list, please share.  Oh my goodness.
