Got the text message on my phone from 2929-bvkrusfoim@sgms.us stating (NETSPEND PREPAID - ALERT: 68495997) Please call our office immediately at (908)542-1895. I don't have anything prepaid.

I have also received this message... I called and it immediately told me to give them my net spend bank info... I don't have a net spend account... Thought it was a bigger scam but it seems they are using this to get bank information as they are using other banks as well...

Oh and the message was sent from this address as a text to my cell phone: 1177-nilyw@fflife.us

I live in CA and received a message from this number earlier. "(3258 Very important SMS-From:Bnk0FAmerica_Call right away at: 908-542-1895. Code: VlSA_Blocked. hxond) "   Im not a customer of BofA and this is a bulls**t scam so I really hope someone is doing something about this!!!  Also have been receiving phone calls from caller id "98" since then on every phone listed on my acct with Verizon... Anyone else having the same problems???

I know I said "from this number" in my original post.  My mistake.  The text WAS sent from what appears to be an email address (9966-usinkymsq@sgms.us), directing me to call this number.

By the way, the sender of this text was 9966-usinkymsq@sgms.us, in case that information is useful to anyone.

got a similar SMS this afternoon "from" Bank of America with "contact now 908-542-1895

received a text saying [NETSPEND PREPAID ALERT] Please call our office immediately.  dumb a** SCAMMERS

Got this same message as you all, always check #'s before I call or text, just another scam to block. :p

This number sent two texts to my husband's phone.  We figured it was some type of scam; coming here confirmed it.  Thanks to you all for your postings.  Will definitely ignore these messages.

Sounds like this number (scamers) are busy tonight.  Just Got a text  for NETSPEND as well, saying to call immediately.  I don't reply to any unknown number and always look them up like I did for this one.

So I Googled Netspend.com, 6676-ksdiakaexf@firmani.gr, and (908) 542-1895. I just got off the phone with Netspend and they do not have me in their system. (because I don't have an acct with them, hello?) I explained the text was sent from a Greek email and was using a reply email from New Jersey. I sent a screen shot of the text on my phone to customerservice@netspend.com. They are going to investigate it.

Receive the text NETSPEND PREPAID - ALERT. Dear (phone #) call our office immediately at 9085421895. Sure it is a scam. Did not reply. No company of such name. No company works in the weekend... It does not make sense. So it is a scam.

I just got same text from NetSpend Prepaid Alert. After googling, yeah suspicious for sure... Glad I didn't reply... What idiots!!!

The DNC can't stop the calls from illegal telemarketers, frauds and scammers Nat, its a list that honest company's abide by.  Not a call blocker.

I got the same one (NETSPEND PREPAID - ALERT: 34106503) Immediate action required. Please call (908) 542-1895 and avoid loosing access your funds. I replied STOP thinking it was one of those automated texts... Wish I didn't now! ?

I got a text message on my Verizon Wireless phone, which states:
"(NETSPEND PREPARID-ALERT: 21563986) Immediate action required.  Please call (908) 542-1895 and avoid loosing access your funds."

.....yes, the grammar was off, and it said "...avoid loosing access your funds.".

My Verizon Wireless phone is not pre-paid.

Told to contact B of A re account.  No such account. Scam.  

I just got this weird text from 768-jkceuczlzi@fflife.us . I know for sure I have no accounts w/ Bank Of America. I had to look this phone # up, & realized it was a scam at that moment. Anyone else gets something like this, don't call or even reply back. Not worth the time to waste. ;(

According to a comment left on White pages this is someone trying to scam info. The # is listed to an individual in New Jersey.
They are texting a message representing themselves as Bank of America regarding blocked Visa. Don't do business with BofA. So I won't be contacting them or replying to their text message.
