Two calls simultaneously; seriously? What the f... That's a first... and last.

Happened twice ...just today and did not leave message on recorder...Another time man stated he was from
a police department and told him "mail me a contribution envelope I do not donate over the phone"....hung up (knew they would)

This number called our house over 30 times in the last 2 months. That is not normal for any charity. We have the number blocked but we can still see how many times it attempted to reach our home. 10 times in the last two days! We are looking onto a service called Nomorobo. It just became available to the public for free, but Comcast does not work with them yet. Other providers do. Hope they do it soon. Gonna call them to add it to their service.

looking for donations called twice already

This guy "Dave" called my cell at 9pm to solicit money for the New Jersey State Law Enforcement Officers Association.

Just received 3rd. call today from this number. No message, just caller I.D. #.

Called at 9:00 pm tonight. Caller hung up when I said hello.
I called number from another phone number. Male voice
Answered on first ring and I hung up. If he's scamming for
Money why did he hang up on me, I wonder.

Phone rings at about 8 PM three nights in a row.  Pick up, but before can even say hellow, "Click", caller hangs up.  We were concerned it was a house robber checking to see if we were home.

These other posts assure us it is some scam using the telemarketer's number, not a house robber.

Called asking if the police organization can count on me for a donation. I asked if I could count on them to pay my $4500 bill to ship my furniture cross country. He said he didn't mean to be a nuisance and hung up.

I've recv'd two calls in the last week on my cell phone. One I ignored and answered the other. A man said hello, then hung up. I told my husband he sounded like a cop, and sounded like those scammers who call for FOP (FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE) donations.  They have also called my landline. Very annoying and from NJ. They should be arrested.

I told Dave to go f*** himself and then I hung up. If if he were a real cop Id say the same. My rose colored glasses are off and  no longer them as the good guys.

Police are working to make an extra $$$$$ for what? sound like SCAM, Now the Police brutality becomes fraud brutality Unbelievable.

I blocked them and set GV to deliver the "number not in service message". They keep calling like the mindless drones they are.

Got a call from "Dave Carter" for the NJ Police officers Association. They left no number. When I called back, they gave me an address in E Brunswick and asked for a donation. They would send me a submission form to donate to th association. However, I called the Elizabeth Police dept and the NJ State Police Officers in Trenton and was told they "never solicit donation via telephone.

THIS IS A SCAM. I blocked their number and complained to the FCC and my telephone service provider. I hope they rot in hell after the actual police catch them.

Just got another call from this number.  The last time these fools tried their phony soliciting calls here I did answer. I did my best, for an old guy, to imitate a really old and deaf lady. He asked for Ted. I asked , "Who?" several times. Then I said, " Fred's not here." You get the picture I am sure. Anyway, this @!#$ wound up groaning and hung up on me. The calls did stop for quite a while. If they are calling again I just have to pick it up next time, again as the poor ole lady. Too much fun to resist.

On the other hand we need to transfer all of these calls to our Congressman's offices. Maybe when they are buried in them they's get the message. These garbage calls made by garbage needs to stop.

We keep receiving calls from this number and it's extremely upsetting and annoying.  No one answers at the other end.  How can we get them to stop?

claims to be part of a NJ law enforcement association. and soliciting funds.  I am a retired NJ Trooper and told him law enforcement does not solicit funds by phone.  I told him this is a scam and he hung up.

I received a call from 9085661960 asking for money for a police association.  I told the caller that my husband was an officer.  With that he said "oh sorry" and hung up... just proves that its a SCAM!!

I just return a call back and this guy from the police assoc, name dave carter was looking $$$$$$$$$$. I him told to stop calling me.

No message. Almost 8pm call came in.

Yeah received the same call , sounded like a scam right away. Being very involved in town i town our police officers do not ask for money.

Received a call from this number.  The person identified himself as being with a police organization and collecting money.

I received one too.  I told him my husband was a police office and that I know for a fact that police organizations do not do phone solicitations and I hung up on him.  Is there anyway to report him?

caller left no message, showed up on my caller id.   researched coming from somerset, nj area.

I too received a call from this number. I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. They waited until the answering machine picked up then they hung up. Same thing yesterday.
