i get a call from this number 5 times a day, i pick up the phone they hang up . then i call them back the phone is not working, why do they call if they dont say anything. does any one know how to stop these calls

This phone number calls my home ALL THE TIME!!!!!I don't typically pick up the phone if I don't recognize the # calling. I finally picked up today they did speak asked for my name, I asked back who is this?!they hung up. can't call them back, doesn't get put through...VERY ANNOYING & FRUSTRATING!!!Who the heck is this??!!!GET A LIFE!!!!
