this number calls me and no one answers when call is picked up.

This very rude woman keeps calling my home, yes I have been on the Do Not Call list since it was made available. I do not know who these people are much less what they want. After she hung up on me I had to call her back to find out who they are, when I asked her who she was she said "did I ask for you?" I said "no but you called my home" She was very very rude and hung up on me again. I am ready for her now, I got a whistle and I cant wait to use it.

I got a call from this number this evening. I never answer from an out of state area code - I goggle the number to see who/what it is. I never call back either, if you do they know your number is a live number.

Thank you Sharon, as a 65 yo I think I do quite well at avoiding these scammers. I just never answer the phone.

I just got a call from Diamond Enterprises and they have scammed a lot of people. Please do not fall for their free DVD that you have to pay shipping and automatically get signed up into some membership deal they have. That is what I have read online anyway. Simply call them back and bother them. It is pretty fun actually. They will answer and say your name due to the caller ID is loaded in their system and if you want to have something good to say to them, simply try to sell them something.

Got a call from this #.  Bunch of telemarketers trying to sell magazines.  I told them NOT to call my # again.  If we wanted anything we would contact them!!

Got a call from 908-731-6980, but company name was Command Voice. Probably the third call I've received in the past month. Don't understand what they gain from calling and hanging up as soon as someone answers. Maybe it has something to do with you calling back, as if you ordered something. I didn't call back.

Actually, counting the asterisks, the site filter thinks the plural of "backside" is naughty. If you'd spelled it correctly I think you'd be fine. Let's try it now: assess

Even is that were true, why would you want to do business with such a screwed up company?  What if you had ANOTHER problem?  They couldn't help you unless they called YOU and they aren't likely to do that in the future, once there's a problem with your account!

If you have an elderly parent you should be aware that telemarketers are out there and will try to sell them all sorts of things.  If they no longer have a sharp mind they are at risk.  You know your folks and can a***s the risk.

We got my mom a new phone number.  It doesn't protect her 100% as some scammers will just dial EVERY number.  But at least the crooks who use databases to identify long time telephone customers for elderly victims can no longer find her.

Received a call this afternon.  Caller ID showed "Out of Area".  No message left.

Got another call from them today.  They call almost daily.  Caller ID lists them as "VOICE COMMAND".  The only thing I can suggest is to not pick up any call from a name or number you don't recognize.  If it is from someone I don't recognize, I immediately turn off my answering machine.  After 10 rings, most answering machines will turn on.  They don't tend to let it ring that long.  It's a pain in the butt but I'll continue to do it until these companies are arrested.

You obviously think anyone over 60 is incapable of caring for their own lives.  The fact that they have credit cards shows that they can pay their bills.  Let's not make this an age issue.  This is a phone scammer issue.  There are plenty of people commenting on this site who have the same problem you and I have.  They are getting phone calls that interrupt their lives.  I've been on the Federal DNC list since its inception and I get more calls than ever.  I think IT IS A SCAM.  Any suggestions?

As per previous post, I just called 1-800-576-6698 and told a very apologetic youg lady to to take me off the list.  We had gotten playboy through the publishers clearing house by mistake a few months ago and cancelled immediately which is why we are receiving calls.  Will see if it works.

Got one today 6/18/13 at 6:28 PM.  Caller ID  lists it as from "COMMAND VOICE".  Get a call from them quite regularly.  I turn off the ans machine and let it ring.  I'm on the National DNC list, for all the good it does.  I think the National DNC list is as phoney as these telemarketers are.  The Federal Government gives us a number to call and a form to fill out and probably 86's the information out the back door.  I'm fed up.

I got a call from 908-731-6980 and called back within a minute. The person who answered was in a call center as I heard all kinds of background "call center" noise. I have an unlisted number.  I do not give it out. I have received 3 calls in the past two days from this phone number. Just like all of the most recent complaints about this caller, no response and doesn't leave a message. Bill collectors usually use this tactic. So I call it back, again like the others, nothing, call just ends.
What is the point in signing on the "Do Not Call List", it doesn't work.  I spent extra money monthly so I can have a private number. Yet again, doesn't seem to be worth it............ We have given up our privacy in order to have more security. This is scary, because regardless of the measure we take to maintain our privacy, others have a way of getting our data anyway.     What is a consumer to do? I want this to stop....

I got a call offering me a free XXX video.  I asked them how they got my number and they claim that I bought something kind of Xrated twice and I could not remember they said that they would take me off the list.  After I hung up with the girl and found this website I saw that if you got "playboy" you would be on there list.  I only order it for 1 year and then stopped because I got married but I guess I am still on the list.  I really hope that I am off the list because I now have 6 kids and I don't want them getting calls, my oldest son has my name

I was perfectly pleasant & calm on the phone when I was speaking to them. All of us other callers obviously did not get the ONE girl that was nice to you.
I did do some fact checking and I asked several times to have them remove my information from their system every time they called me and they failed to do so. So you can imagine how annoying it is to remain unperturbed when these marketers will not listen. I had to resort to doing more of my own research and finally threaten to sue especially since I have photos of every time they called on my called ID and a recording of our conversation. Since then, they have stopped. I don't need to order smut in order to have a fabulous sex life w/ my husband.
Too bad for you. I understand that it's just sex. We all have it. I just don't need watch strangers faking their intimacy with a stranger to get off.

I received many harrassing calls from (908) 731-6980 which is a NJ area code, but their REAL number is from CA. They are Diamond Enterprises and the number to call so they can remove your number from their system is (800)-576-6698. I've never ordered any smut so I know that they are either scammers or they don't have any regard for the DNC list. Either way, it's been a month since I called and threatened to sue them and I have not received any more phone calls from them.

Got a call from this number a young girl about salting playboy mag. Asked for credit card number then same girl call back today and said the number we gave her there wasn't enough numbers but noticed after the call the number 908-731-6980 did not show up this time so I called our cricket card company and had the card cancelled. Please tell family members and neighbors this number and be careful. We will post it on Facebook and tweeter to get notice out to others.   A concern senior
