what company does this company represent

they call 4 to 5 times a day and never leave message.not sure how to get them to stop calling

These guys call me at least 5 times a day and for 3 days staright when I answered hey hang up. The next call I received someone actually said 'Hello' and I immediately told them to stop calling. They continue to call & hangup 5-10 times a day. With the information provided by this site, I called and filed a complaint with FTC and Attorney General. Fortunately, all my incoming calls are logged and downloadable, so I sent that along with my complaints.

I do have a Dell, but I have never heard of Encore nor received anything from them. And based on how they call and hang up, I wouldn't deal with anyway!!

These guys are either idiots or unprofessional to constantly call and hang up!! I would suggest that anyone that have problems with stupid collectors like this to just report them to them FTC and Attorney General.

908-854-1973 called asking for my father by first and last name and they said they are related to my father.  The woman said she was Kathy and then my father's last name.  So I asked who his father was she didn't know.  My father does have a Dell account so that explains that.  Shame on Dell for hiring such a crappy company.

These people are calling my neighbors and family members discussing my private business.  These people have got to stop!

I have been getting a dozen or more calls each week from this number. Half the time nobody is on the line when I answer. The rest of the time they ask for "Daniel". There is no Daniel in my household. I have tried to call them back at the number on Caller ID. It is constantly busy...they are making more calls to harass others. Then I found their toll free number (877-409-2110) for Encore Recovery Management Inc. and asked three times now, to take my number off their lists. The last time I spoke with Brandon, who assured me my number would not be called again. They called Sunday morning and woke me up. ERMI is a collection agency for Dell Computer. I never bought anything from Dell (nor will I with their offshoring of thousands of American jobs). I am on the do not call list for Christ's sake! What good does it do?! My next call will be to the FCC to report these dishonest liars. I suggest you call them too.

they are a collection agency, before it is charged off. mine was for bernies (ge money bank) i think all different companies use them.

I get a call from this number 4-5 a day at my job and when I answer they hang up.  I tried calling it back and it's a busy signal every time.

They are a subsidiary of Convergys Corporation who handles Dell accounts (and others). What you need to do is write them a letter telling them to cease and desist all phone calls to your number (and list your number in the letter). Send the letter by certified or registered mail (the one that requires a signature and you receive a receipt back showing proof that they got it). After they receive that letter, they can no longer legally call any number(s) you list in that letter.

They call me at least four times a day. I never pick up numbers I don't know, so I never have picked their calls up. It's lame and I refuse to fall for some scam. Money to the troops. Yeah right.

Thats dell financial.. The call me constantly even after my giving them my lawyers # because I filed bankruptsy.. They are not supposed to call you after you give them ur lawyers #.. My lawyer said that they are breaking the law by doing so and I can sue them

Yes, this company is very annoying. They call multiple times a day with no messages left. As someone already mentioned they are a collection company used by Dell. They are very rude and don't seem to conform to the laws of Fair Debt Collecting. We just added their phone # to our blocked call list. Let's see what happens now....

They call me 4 or 5 times a day asking for Derek Valdez. I have told them hundreds of time that this is my work number and there is no one her by Derek Valdez. Well I called the number back and asked for the companie name and they said it was Encore Management. I think it's a collection agency.

They called today @ work and asked me to verify my last four digits of my social #, I told them if they knew that then they should know not to contact me at work and I hung up. She called back and wanted to place a formal complaint against me cause I hung up,....So I gave her my boss's name and when to call back. I told my boss and asked him to tell her to KISS MY Assets! He said cool, no problem....

Call 5 or 6 times a day asking for an employee.  will not leave a return # for him to call at.  I would like these call stop this is a buisness call employee some where not his job.

I received a call from this number and when I called back, he said his name was Armando from " Encore " a third pary for DELL the computer company.

Update-'ERMI' have called several times and just hung, they eventually asked for my husbands EX-wife! I told them to take us off their calling list and stop calling, they day after they called again!!

They caled me twice once at 8pm and then again at 9pm, whne I picked up it was an automated voice saying 'Thank you for your patience we will be with you shortly' I just hung up.

This person called i answered it and he asked for my brother, i asked him what it was about then he hung up, wtf does this person want???

Be sure to answer! Then, tell the person on the other line to KISS YOUR F***ING A**!!!!

They used to call me every 5 min for several hours and then skip a day and then start back up the next. I wouldnt pick up as I didnt know who they were. Then one day I picked up. They are a company selling a thing called Liberty Fun Pass Card. Supposedly the money goes to our troops.. but I doubt it. Its this card that gives you discounts on all sorts of things from ... grocery store to hotels and flights and like that. They are VERY hard sell over the phone. Rude.. and to get them to STOP calling me I agreed to try their card. They also said they had another one called something America and I said no I dont want that one. But they sent it to me anyway. In order to cancel the Fun Pass I had to print out a request to cancel and then fill it out and then mail it in. It was a real hassle.

I just answer the phone and then hang up.

They call my number 5 to 8 times a day from early am to late pm.They will not leave a message and when we pick up the phone they ask about other people.

Many times daily, looking for someone I don't know

I have had 15 calls from this number in 2 days. Starting at 8:00 a.m. and the last being around 8:45 p.m. They are trying to collect a debt for a family member who evidently gave my name as a reference. I am 61 years old and cannot cope with the harassment. They are trying to get the family member's number from me and have told me that they will keep calling me until I give it to them. The calls just keep coming in. What should I do?
