Okay this is driving me nuts.  I received 12 phone calls from 4-9:30pm yesterday back to back from two numbers 800-271-1417 and 909-237-1064.  I picked it up yesterday and they said I won a free trip to vegas I had to go to their location in ontario to a time share seminar.  I told them no thank you. Now they are blasting my phone up.  this is not okay.  I had to turn off my phone as my phone and provided are unable to block specific numbers.  I am going to do some more research on that.  Just wanted to put it out there. I tried to call both back and one went to a voicemail that was full no name mentioned and one says your call cannot be completed as dialed.

This guy was talking in some weird Hindu language about 'you is MVP!!!' and stuff. I said I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up.

I told this person I will have Smith and Wesson deal with them if I ever find out their location

I just read the other posts on this number. Funny, I, too, placed ads on Craigslist...

They called me twice this morning. First time I hung up, second time I told the very same lady that she had just called me 3 minutes ago and I did not want to speak to her. I requested to be taken off the calling list.

They just called from "TLC Resorts" and said I was selected as a VIP traveler and that I would be entitled to a free vacation to Los Angeles or Hawaii and that I wouldn't need to sign up or pay anything. I told him I can only go on one vacation per year and I already booked mine so I wouldn't be needed any free vacations.

He said, "I completely understand, I hope you have a wonderful day."

End of conversation :-)

I never understood why people come to sites like this and yell "STOP CALLING ME, I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU TO SOME RANDOM GOVERNMENT AGENCY".  Do you really think the companies that call and harass people really go and check random sites like this to make sure everyone loves them?.

Thank you for pointing out they grabbed it off Craigslist. That is surely where they got mine as well, based on the timing. And I'd even disguised my number by putting asterisks and periods between digits so web spider-bots wouldn't pick up on it.

Same thing - scam. 20 mins after posting on Craigslist. But I didn't have my name on the ad - how did they get it? He kept asking for my last name.

I also posted an ad on craigslit . No message. I never answer outside area code calls

Received 2 calls from this # today. I called back to this # blocking my own #.
I received a message stating that if I owed money to the IRS and it was more than
$10,000. to please leave them a message as to the details and someone would get back to me, as they were presently busy.
The funny thing is, I too placed several adds on Craigslist earlier today...
By all the previous posts... That seems to be a common factor among us all.

Some kinda check and a brand new car then it gives an alternative number to call if you cant reach the person at that number and then i called it and it said that number is incorrect

Another call from these criminals.  And on a Sunday afternoon.  Blocked and reported.  Aggravating morons.

I received a message from this number at least 5 times in a row. The number was displayed on my caller I'd history log stating I was to receive a $35 card. Heavy accent. Beware based on other post this person leaves different types of messages attempting to reel you in. I don't trust him. Remember if its sounds fishing it must be.

They call....it rings once and then they hang up!!!!

Some random number called me and said I won a free cruise trip to Hawaii or something...I told them you won a free cruise trip to prison, they hanged up after that. trolololololol

It's a criminal boiler room who are trying to steal/scam the elderly. If you placed a Craigslist ad, they steal your number from there.  They need the FBI to shut them down.  They probably move numbers, locations every few weeks like all these criminal operations.  If you call back of course no one will answer, you get a dude with a foreign accent and "mail box full" and then the dumb mother F says, "God Bless You".  A dude who makes his living stealing from people - irony.

I missed this call on my cell phone while it was charging. I called the number from my land line blocking that number at around 1600 hours on 7/25/2013. A recording answered with a thick male Mexican Accent stating that if I owed more than $10,000.00 in back taxes to leave my number for a return call and so I just hung up. I only called as I run a business with contacts with all area codes. Best Wishes All!!

Just posted two ads on craigslist, and got a call from these yo-yos

Received a call from 909-237-1064, and as I answered, they hung up. I have found missed calls from this number before, so I called back.  The recording was something like this:  They can't take the call, magic jack phone, but leave a message.  When I attempted to leave a message, I was told that the Message Box was full.  I wonder why??  Could it be all of the irate receivers of these calls leaving a message to complain -- with a few well chosen expletives, I am sure!!
