Thank you for telling us their number and address. I got their call today and after reading your post, I called the Federal Do Not Call number where my number is registered and gave them this info.

1-909-270-2593 has been calling my 93 year old Grandmother for two years now. I didn't understand why she would get so upset at this call until I answered the phone the other day. The recording is deceptive making it sound like its a live person. There is no remedy to get these calls to stop, to hold anyone accountable. I filed a live complaint with the FCC by calling into its 800 number. More people should file live complaints against this number. The live sounding recording is HIGHLY frustrating! Low lifes

Caller ID says "Chino, CA" but left no message on answering machine.

Some very annoying pre-recorded robo message for "seniors." We blocked the number, but I'm sure it'll be back.

Three calls in the last half hour.. caught one fast enough to hear the beginning of their spiel.. just another waste of my phone lines!

Same as everyone, this is harassment. Fallen and can't get up preorder to schedule delivery. We're getting calls several times a day for several months. What is wrong with these people

Try this tactic. It has worked for me. Tell them you are recording this phone call for a survey being conducted concerning unwanted calls. If they don't hang up yet, ask for their name again and the company. Or say "just a minute, let me start the recorder ", What's your name again".

No id. Didn't answer. Glad I checked. I need to block this caller.
Ryan 2013-08-15 22:50:25 Telemarketer
All you need to do is press 1 and it will take you to an extension with a live person. Once you do that, you can get the satisfaction of telling them to go F*&^ themselves!

They (from (909) 270-2593) called me on my Google voice phone number and didn't leave a message. Stupid people.

My 91 year old father-in-law fell for this scam. He paid several hundred dollars for a 4 year pre-paid contract to get a "free" burglar alarm and "medic alert" system. The worst part though is he gave this scammer the names and phone numbers of everyone that he thought could benefit from this "free" offer. We now receive calls from home remodelers, medic-alerts, diabetic supply providers, "green" carpet cleaners, etc., etc., etc.
These calls are 7 days a week, at all hours of the day and night. I hope this people and their families die violent deaths, soon!
Billie 2013-08-15 04:32:40 Unknown
The best way to make the scammer's calls stop is to alert others, so the scammers's sources of revenue dry up. People are falling for this scam every day, otherwise the calls would not be continuing.

oceano,
I have reported this number and several others this group has used in the past. I have seen no reduction in calls for this scam. In all the complaints I have filed with the agency you mention (for this group and others) I don't feel any one has done any good. These groups simply spoof another number and go on with the same scam.
The only good I see in complaining is telling the scammer that their current spoofed number is being blocked so they change numbers again.
Since July 30 this number has dialed my home line 111 times, an average of seven times each day. They have missed six of those sixteen days. If you exclude those days they have attempted to call eleven times a day. Thank goodness for call blocking!

Caller refers to an order which I did not place.
Billie 2013-08-14 04:49:11 Unknown
And please, let others know of the scam before they are cheated--spreading the information of this scam is the best way to help others, who are not aware of these lowlifes, who target the elderly.
kathy 2013-08-14 04:37:04 Unknown
They've called three times, fifteen minutes apart. When you call back, you get the disconnect sound. It is: I've fallen and I can't get up scam.

called again left no message hung up

Billie,
Thank you for the info. After the first couple of calls I put a ATT Block on this number. Seems like most days now they Robo Dial my number about twenty times in a few minutes. I've complained about this group using this and other numbers many times and it does no good.
I gave up on AARP a couple of years ago after being a member for over twenty years. Felt they were more political and an insurance sales organization than help and information for seniors.
Appreciate the message and data about the source you sent.
Thank you again.

I feel your pain. Have faith. Filing a complaint with the FTC is the only thing you can do. They move slowly, but surely.

This caller continues early morning and evening calls to me. What can I do to make this stop?
Annoyed 2013-08-13 02:25:55 Telemarketer
I keep getting calls from (909) 270-2593. It's the scum bag recording making you buy an emergency alert system. I've blocked these people before, but it looks like they have a new number they're calling from. I assume they're going to keep changing their number until the FCC or authorities do something about this.

Scammer. Says medical alert was already been paid for me by someone. Thanks to google voice, here is the exact transcription:
Hi, this is john from the Shipping Department of Emergency Medical Alert. I was calling to schedule delivery of your medical alert system. It's the phone and I can't get up type of system leasing on T. V Looks like the system's been recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals. Let's see, says here that the systems already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because either it yourself a friend, family member, or maybe even some when you know experience stuff on the past. So again so already been paid for it. So there's no cost to you whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for. So, to schedule delivery of your virtually medical or system press one. Now again to I have your system shipped out to you press one now, press 5, to client shipment of your system. If you already have a medical alert system, please disregard this message again. If you already have a medical alert system, please disregard this message.

Scam stating ordered a medic alert device.
BB 2013-08-10 02:28:56 Telemarketer
From John with Medical Alarm Co. calling to confirm your order.
This is one of several calls every week. The phone companies refuse to do anything about these robocalls, the FTC and Do Not Call Registry complaints take time to fill out and even if something is eventually done to stop one, another will surface.
The phone companies should provide FREE service to block any numbers and block all calls that do not have ID.
It is so ridiculous to have to put up with these robocalls, telemarketers, surveys etc.
Not answering only prompts them to call again and answering does also!
