He called making threats against my credit report if I didn't pay within the hour. I pay my bills thank you very much. Then he went on to threaten me with garnishing my wages and then suing me for more money. I called back and said see you in court. He has my address, cell phone and name. I suggest keeping an eye on your credit score and calling the police. He's also associated with 909-303-4073 and 855-485-1489. He calls himself a manager of litigation and said he worked for Hensley and cooper and that account was through Wells Fargo. He even faxed over a payment request and I laughed and didn't send him s***.

This person called saying my brother [ he got my brother's name right] had missed a court date and inquired if I have any clue as to his whereabouts. Someone already reported that they had been told they missed a court date and owed money. It seems this person is scamming people when all the reports are added up. The thing nobody has reported is that the name associated with the Phone#: 909-303-7020 is someone using the name 'Rene Arieta'. Another clue. Also the phone trunk that was used is somewhere near Rancho Cucamonga.

This is just a new version of the payday loan extortion scam. The usual scam is they falsely claim you owe a fake payday loan and extort loan payments from you. They may have your personal info (address, DOB, SSN, etc.) and you may well believe their lies when they recite your personal info back to you. Sometimes they even call up the references you put down on your payday loan application and try to extort payments from your references, or harass your references into harassing you into paying the fake loan. Sometimes they lie about trying to locate you to deliver court documents, lie about suing you, lie about everything. Don't fall for it. They are criminals. Do NOT pay them.

The exact same think is happening to a coworker of mine.  He keeps threatening her with wage garnishments and saying that she missed a court appointment.  Then he will call back and tell her that she needs to be in court tomorrow and could go to jail if she doesn?t pay the money now.  I told her to file a police report.

I am having the same issue with this p.o.s. He has sent a document that seems incredibly whack as well. This guy needs to go down. Anything come of your contact with him? Where do you live?
