another number to list for Pomona tele-terrorists: 909-340-2137
This number is from Thompson-Reuters about advertising for law firms.
I got a call from that number that said it was Amero Associates. I looked it up here in Chino, CA I found several listings but none with that number. The address is Amero Associates Inc. 12674 Fern Ave, Chino, CA. 91710-6204. This is a residential address and the business owners name is Rosa Leone. I was also able to learn that the 9789 number is a cell phone. If you keep getting the calls write a letter to Rosa and ask to be removed.
got a call from this num\ber, caller ID says its from amero associate i tried to return call, but they are not excepting call/
Answered the phone accidently thinking it was important but caller said his name was Brett calling about their energy rebate program. I am on the Do-Not-Call list but they could care less. All the more reason not to listen to them or accept their call. Another scam!!
I want report this phone number ...
Don't waste time with any government office; they send form letter telling you they will put you on list if suit is ever filed. Took me a year for a reply from PACTEL that they had canceled a number belonging to a lady in Panama City,Panama. Notifying AG's in California, Florida, and especially Texas is just a waste of time. These people are already breaking the law by making computer calls. Best to not answer any area code you do not recognize unless a name comes up you know. You can bet the Texas AG would do something if these calls bothered RICK P.
call from 909-374-9789 , didnt accept, going to report it.
I wouldnt do that because many times the numbers have been stolen. kind of like spam with emails who get ahold of your friends emails:/ This number just called us and thanks for letting us know its disconnected :)
I received a call from this number this AM on my cell phone. I figured it was a scam/sales rep., so I answered it to be put on their "DO NOT CALL" list. I was on hold for 5 minutes before I just hung up. It was a "LOWER YOUR CREDIT CARD INTEREST" call. Funny how they never call my house phone...probably because I have Privacy Director on that line. Why can't the money used to pay these fools be used to feed the hungry?
Got a call from this number on my cell phone at 9:59 AM central time. I rejected the call and they didn't leave a message.
My phone is on the DoNotCall list and I report every one of them, but the calls keep coming in.
I just got a call on my cell from this number - ID says Pomona CA. I ignored it. In fact at this point I don't answer any calls I don't know. I read in some of these posts that users can block numbers on their phone. Does anyone know how to do this on an I-phone? I've been through the options and don't know how to block this #.
keep getting these and they don't leave messages and when I call back said its not a working #
I typically don't answer but I did today. It was a recorded call about lowering my interest rate on my credit card and said it was my last chance! to get this deal. Something about the Federal Reserve changing something to make the interest rate lower. What a bunch of bull.
They they said to press 1 to speak to one of their representatives. I did not press 1.
I added the number the Do Not Call Registry which I do with all these unwanted calls I get, but I feel like I've been getting more calls the past 6 months. I'm losing faith with the DNC Registry.
Received a call this morning from Pomona, CA. No one on other end.
Called number back and got a "this is not a working number" message from phone company.
I'm also on a DO NOT CALL list. I wonder if they sold that list as many calls as I get!
White guy very rude immediately started cussing at me when he found out I knew he was bogus and a fraud. He threatened to blow my phone up with phone calls until I changed my telephone number.
called today and I ignored it. Thanks to all for reporting these SCAMMERS.
do not call
I'm on a do not call list for a reason. When I call back it says it's not a working number. I keep adding numbers to the block but they keep coming up with new ones
Della J LaMere
No message left. Has called before never leave a message.
this numbernkeeps calling..
I got a call from Mike Anderson. This is the third call from him. He also uses 888-382-1222,
Same here. I told them I would report them as I am on a No Call list and she said and I will report you. Very ugly, Something should be done.
Robo dialers program their dialing machines (a.k.a computers) to start at a number and dial every number after that. So, they could start at 200 200 0000 and dial to 999 999 9999 if they wanted to. (000 thru 199 are not dialable codes for you and me and they would exclude 211, 311, 411, 511, 611, 711, 811, and 911 which are special codes.) They don't care about any DNC list, they are just dialing XXX XXX 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. to 9999. If you give your credit info they win, even if you answer, they win, because they know your number is a valid number. Now they have part of your personal infomation. Also, they can use a PBX to fake the number, or call from the internet and fake the number. This poor 909 guy probably had to give up his number because it's no good any more. He is NOT the one making the calls. Would you make these calls and use your real number? Never, never trust the 'from' number on a call, unless you know the caller. Today's technology allows it to be easily faked.
call came to phone no message. don't want calls.
I pressed 1 to speak to a rep and asked to be removed. I was told that it would cost me $14.00 just because I pressed 1. I promptly called my telco carrier to file a complaint as well as file a complaint with the DNC Registry. However, if you now try to dial the number directly, it indicates that it's not a working number. Go figure.
That is a great idea. Would like to know how to do that myself.
I received a call from thsi nummber today. NO message left. When I don't recognize the number I look the number up via reverse search. What good is putting your number on the Do Not Call list if companies like these keep calling?
If anyone wants to lower the interest rate on theuircredit cards, they can call the credit card phone number and talk to a representative. These third party calls are jsut trying to get your inof to steal your identity.
I agree....or the person's phone was stolen.
Just received a call from this number. I answered it. The voice prompt wanted me to press 1 to find out how to lower my credit card rate to 4.5%. Since my credit card does not call me to beg for me to lower my rate, I hung up.
fyi - don't EVER give your credit card number to anyone that calls you. If it is your credit card company, then they already have your number.
