Thanks for your input, Brandy. I'm skeptical too. I checked them out with the Better Business Bureau, and they said to be careful.

I received another email from Tax Depot and they claim they merged with Taxes & More, and they now go by Taxes & More. They didn't ask for my bank account info, but they want me to open a bank account just to deal with them and give them that number. They also want a photo copy of my drivers license and my signature on an Employment Agreement, which I'm supposed to scan in and send to them. That way they would have my signature. They didn't ask for my SS#, though, which I thought they would.  

B.B.B. says that it could well be a scam and to watch out. because they've had complaints about scammer's getting people to open a bank account and they either launder money through it (illegal), or they try to get you to put money in it with some plausible explanation and take your money that way.

Anyway, I'm staying away from it. It sounded great, though!!

I don't know. I received a job offer, as well. They want my bank account info. I refuse to give my bank account info. It sounds like a hoax.

Is this business for real? It's supposed to be the HR Dept. for Taxes Depot. This is the number provided at the bottom of a job offer.

This number is supposed to be a HR Dept in a company that prepares tax returns...
