I called the 9094561861 and 8557800003 number and spoke to Sarah. Lovely uneducated being. Said she worked for Edison Parker in Houston Tx. Esquire. An Accident Claims Attorney. I asked questions about the firm, was told to look it up. (I did) I asked about his law degree and how many associates was told to look it up again. (I did) She got rather angry and mean that I questioned the fact that No Edison Parker was listed with the Texas Bar Association and that the Firm Of Edison Parker was also not listed with the bar. Edison Parker is a Marketing Comapny for mechanical replacement parts. Not sure what is happening but oh well this is time I will never get back.
New cell number was tired of them calling.

I have gotten several calls from this same 909-456-1861, they are trying to reach my daughter at an address that she has not lived at for several years and she has never lived at our new address. They will not tell me what the service is for, just to have my daughter call them and they quote a file #, but that file # has changed from when they first started calling. I have a friend who is a Judge I think I'm going to take this information to him along with this thread and see if there is something that can be done.

They have called my wife saying the same as above posts. Also they have been calling my son that just finished college and he has no debts what so ever. The first couple of times they have called it came up blocked and they leave a voice mail. Now the calls come up with the 909-456-1861 number. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I just received a call at work stating that they were going to be at my work on June 7th at 9am to serve me papers and were checking the work address. I just took the information down, Googled them and found this thread.

909-456-1861 is also 877-509-0305.. it's a third party collection company for HSBC according to what "Mr. Hamilton" told me. He hung up on me the first time I returned their call, muttering like he gets paid $9/hr after I offered a file number he left with a woman I divorced years ago. His company is picking up old paper and trying to get certain people to claim ownership of debts, which by law once charged off a debtor wouldn't be obligated to claim. His company, supposedly represents a law firm called EP Group but Mr. Hamilton threatens to hang up if you don't follow along with his questioning like he wants you to say "yes" to knowing what the hell he is talking about. His company claims they are not responsible for the abusive tones, aggressive call tactics and whatever because they claim it's the courts rep (constable) try to serve papers.

As far as serving papers the most they can do on old debts once they get someone to admit to once holding a card, is put a lien on real property owned individually by the alleged debtor or their spouse.

Two numbers: 909-456-1861 and 877-508-9044.  They keep calling my number saying that they are the county clerk and are going to serve me papers if I don't respond by the end of the day. Its been 3 days.  No papers.  And the court shows no filings with my name or with the document number they gave me. Oh and their number is always blocked. Government offices DO NOT block their numbers.  It may say Unavailable, but never BLOCKED.  We seem to have some annoying and STUPID criminals at large.

Someone claiming to work for the state called to serve court papers. I think this is scam to fish out personal information like SSN, date of birth, etc. If they are really from the court system, they'll come to your address to serve papers like they're supposed to.

I have received 8-10 phone calls from these idiots.  They reference some CA case number and tell me they are sending papers for someone that doesn't live at my number and never has.  I have also called them and they have told me they are some lawyer firm.  I can't get them to quit calling me, no matter what I say to them.  These people DO  need to get something else to do!!

Just got a missed call from this number.

They keep calling my number saying that they are the county clerk and are going to serve me papers but when I look up the county clerks number for San Diego it is totally different.  Anyway they don't even have the right number because they keep asking from some random guy and then try to leave me messages in Spanish.  I called them back and some rude lady named Sarah answered.  Don't bother its some sort of scam.

They keep calling my employer and telling them that they will be here at noon to serve me papers. They have done this 3 times and no one ever shows up. They have given me a case number that is non existent in any San Diego or Riverside County court. Seriously... Find something else to do people!!

I am try to found out if the number is a company number or a personal number.
