Dead air

After an initial call, in which all we got was dead air, with a couple of clicks...as if the recorder wasn't functioning correctly, the next call produced a woman stating:

"Your company has been selected for unsecured working capital....."  

I then hung-up.

I have gotten two calls form this number today, and no one was there each time.  I called the number back and got a recording stating that I have reached an invalid pager.

The company's phone number is from Diamond Bar California.  A Google search of merchant service companies there produced these 3 similar 909 area code results:

You have an option to press 1 and leave a call back number.  Do that!  Make them call you back with a live person.  Don't give them truthful info.  Get them to mail you their info, maybe in that info will be truthful information about who they are.  Waste their time and money...it's only fair.

What I found out might be a lie...but Kathy stated that they are in Dallas, Texas and they are a marketing company which will provide you with 5 quotes from competing companies.  She called from a private number and she was vague.  She wanted my email address...not gonna happen I told her.  But gave her my street address so I'll get a real envelope with printed literature.  I  gave her a phony biz name so that I can identify the envelope from her company.

RECORDING ... CALLS SEVERAL TIMES PER DAY

No one there

Called 6 times this morning; never left a message in voicemail.  I finally answered to tell them to get lost, but got a recording about credit cards....hung up.  Wish they'd go away!

10 calls in 5 minutes.  Someone should contact corporate records in California and bust those clowns.  Do Not Call list has $5k fines...that would be nice.

Got one today at 3PM Eastern Time for the first time.

Frustrating. Disturbs my business when they call and hang up.

Has called 6 time today, 5 time yesterday I have hit option 8 to stop cals 7 time and the keep calling

Ignored the call while in a meeting - they left no message.  Tried calling back later & received a voice message - "You have reached an invalid pager number".

I'm guessing it's a way of using a masked phone number - like masking spa emails with a fake address so the replies don't come back to the actual person who called.

So annoying!!! People like this suck, they keep calling us too.

Calls, leaves no message, calls several times daily. I called the number back and heard a male voice say, "You've reached an invalid pager." And then the call was disconnected.

My business has received 2 calls from this number.  It's some recording about Visa/Master Card.  I assumed they were trying to sell my business credit card processing so just hung up - both times.  I called back the number to give them a @#$!! - but same message - youve reached an invalid pager.

Got a call at 9:16 am and at 9:46 am

Credit card processing message left on voicemail.....

A company called EEP or Efficient Effective Productivity is responsible for these calls.  EEP represents the following three companies.  EEP generates leads via demon dialer phone technology.  Cut and paste my post and forward it to appropriate authorities.  Call the three companies and tell the about the practices of EEP.  So far I have been unable to get a phone number on EEP.  Still waiting their literature.

Yes, I got a call from this number at my business. It's a pre-recorded message offering lower fees and charges for credit card processing. Getting to the end of the message, there's an option to press 1 to be connected to a sales rep or press 8 to be removed from the list. After pressing 8 a recording states your number has been removed. We'll see.....

The private number did not show and getting a company name or other info was not likely.  I hope to get that info in the mail.  When I do I'll post their info here so everyone can call their manager.  I'll see if I can get the manager's home phone so he really gets the message!

WHAT WAS THE PRIVE NUMBER SHE CALLED FROM?

Have been getting 5,6,7 calls a day from these morons. Some of these calls come within 90 seconds of each other.

Getting lots of calls from this number past two days.  Are they calling same area or nation-wide?  I'm in NC.

They called again today for the 2nd time - again I did not answer. Again I submitted their number to the NDNC.

I have received about 15 calls from this number today on my cell phone!  When I was picking up my son from school, I received 5 or 6 calls while taking him home.  One of the calls beeped in on another one of their calls!!!

I finally listened to the message about their credit card processing and found out that you could press 8 and be removed from their list.  They promptly called right back!!!

They are a telemarketer trying to get you to use them for processing your credit card charges.  I'm reporting them to the national do not call list...I encourage you to do the same:
