I never give out my cell phone number except to close family.
I'm registered with Canada's do-not call registry and will also report
this call.

Ya i got a call like this on my cell also! Ottawa,Ont.I say like Tim report them because they are a pain in the butt.

I got the same number on my cell phone in Toronto Ontario..I didnt answer it b/c i had a similar call a month previous about winning a trip..clearly just a telemarketing scheme..

The 909 area code now covers far eastern Los Angeles County and southwestern San Bernardino County. It contains cities such as: Colton, San Bernardino, Ontario, Fontana, Chino, and Pomona.

I also got this call and I'm not yet on my company cell.
The guy told me that my car was too old to be accepted for the waranty but we would do it anyway just to help me.

Persistent and annoying... and incorrect to boot!  Also from 909-842-9107... same crap.

I received this call numerous times on my cell phone which is based in Canada- The weird thing is that I just had my alternator in my car replaced and my Uncle who owns the mechanic shop and who fixed it gave me this card with information about extending the warranty on my alternator- Ironically, it is based out of California and I mailed it out months ago. When the number called its all automated so I just hung up- I still havent heard from the warranty people. Weird.

I also received the call, but did not answer it.  Glad I didn't, as I don't own a car either.  However, I did hear not long ago that the Canadian do-not-call list has been sold to some company's outside of Canada, and our laws do not necessarily affect them.

they are now calling to offer interest rate quotes on your credit cards , trying to get that info now! - scam - dont respond  hit ############ on your phone and hang up!!!!

Received an automated call from an automotive warranty company giving me second notice to renew a warranty.  Amusingly, I do not own a car, muchless receive first notice.  

This number is very similar to other phone numbers offering warranty and insurance coverage.  The number is based in San Benardino, CA and I'm from Toronto, ON.  I believe that this is a violation of Canadian Do-Not-Call registry and intend to report it.

Same here, someone trying to sell extend warranties on car no matter who owns them. This is a scam. This company or person need to be block from calling anyone

Missed call on cellular telephone. Caller ID displayed 909-502-9102 because of voice mail, only part of message heard was male voice providing telephone number 1-866-648-0445 as call back number.

Just got a call on my cell from this number.  Telemarketer wanting to tell me that my warranty had expired on my car.  I am in Ontario Canada as well.

got a call january, 21 at 2:29 pm, didnt know the number didnt answer...left a  half cut off message about a car warrenty expiring, the call came to my cell....

I got a call about a week back from this number and then another last night from 909 842 9107. I did not pick either of them up. Its weird because i do not give my number out to anyone but my close family members and friends. I also am from Toronto.

These numbers are probably being sold by telus

Same here.....called my cell phone, (905) area code, must be an auto dialer that locked into cell phone numbers....

Received a call at 2:46 pm on my cell. I didn't pick up coz the number was strange. Wonder how they got a hold of my cell number.

Seems to be a scam - automated machine reports that your vehicle warranty is expiring and it's the second time you've been contacted about this.

Called twice, the first time at 4:35am today here in Ontario, Canada. Something about my car warranty going to expire and don't drive without a warranty. This is an old scam! No idea where they got my cell number from.

Do not talk to these scam artists, just don't answer and spread the word about them. They just want your money.

Got a call from this number at 11:24am. I didn't answer and no message was left. Seems like they got a hold of my cell company phone list. I'm also in Toronto.

Got sometime today from this 909-502-9102 on my cell phone but didn't leave a message.

called me today around 4pm but i didn't pickup because i didn't recognize the number. located in toronto, canada

received call from this number stating warranty on car was expiring and this was final notice.  was curious as they didn't state any details about any car i have ever owned.  Attendant i talked to didn't say antyhing about my car and when i pressed them for info on how they got my number, they hung up on me.

Beware as this smells of a scam pure and simple.

I received a call from 909-502-9102. The caller stated that my car warrenty had run out. I ask the man what car company he worked with. He wouldn't answer me. I asked to speak to his manager and his reply was I'll put your number on the do not call list. I received a letter from my GM dealership that stated this was a scam. The caller is trying to get your credit card number or bank account info. DO NOT give this information to these people.

I'm in Toronto, Canada too and I got the same call. I didn't answer it though but it's the second time in the past week I've gotten a call from a California based phone number, the other call was from a telemarketing company.
