This number 9095275568 called and the guy new my name and said he was calling about some work to his house and hung up. I called the number back and got a message that said number is no longer in service.

Just called again - Oct. 30. I picked up and it clicked off.

I never answer any calls from (909) 527-5568 or any of the dozens of other numbers that I receive bogus calls from every week.  I don't know why they still call my number.

I received this call , 10-17-2012; the male voice only spoke one word and hungup; the word? Jesus.

I not only get this call several times a week, but sometimes a few times in just one day!  Sometimes I answer, and they just hang up.  But one time, a man was on the other end, and called me by my name.  I asked who was calling, and he said, U.S. Home Improvements.  I told him, not only was I not interested in having any work done, but asked him to take me off their calling list, as I complained by informing him about all excessive phone calls I was receiving from their phone number, and I repeated the phone number to him.  He said he was very sorry, and that he would take me off their call list,  He apologised profusely, he seemed very polite and nice. Two days later, the calls continued.  Same thing happened when I would answer, they'd hang up.  Then a month or two later, when answering the call in hopes of getting a person on the other end, as I had once before, and I did.  It sure sounded like the same man I had talk to before, but I couldn't be absolutely positive.  I again complained about the excessive calling and hang ups, and how I had  talk to someone like himself, and had asked to be removed, making my request again, but more sternly this time, as I've been told that I can be too nice.  Again, this man sounded like the same man.. He apologized several times, saying that he would report the problem, and he would look into it.  Two days later, I received a few calls again.  I don't want to speak too soon, cause it's only been 2-3 weeks since the last spoke to this man, and I haven't received any more from this phone number.. as of yet anyway.
BUT, I continue to get bogus calls from these bogus callers.  So I looked into blocking unidentified calls, that will require the caller to announce themselves.  Mind you, last time I had this feature, it was free in my landline phone package, then soon became an added cost of approx $1.99.  NOW, I look into getting this feature again added, and come to find out that this feature now will cost an additional $9.99!  I think our phone companies now contract or work along side with these bogus phone solicitors.  The solicitors are probably paying our phone companies to allow their calls to go through to the "NO CALL LIST", as requested by the recipient's.

I've received calls from this number several times in the past few months.  I have a local line but answer with my business name because I also have an 800 number that ports in to my local number.  I think they hang up when they realize it is a business they've called.  I call back and they do not allow incoming calls.

Another website showed the number being in Upland and associated with Time Warner Cable.

Called and asked for me, when I asked who it was, they hung up.

Caller called still another time. I did not answer but checked the number. Nuisance!!!

909-527-5568 calls everyday and hangs up. Sixtel calls everyday at 2:30pm PST and hangs up. I hope the legislation the congressman has proposed, for actual fines, will be passed and these prank callers/ telemarketers get nailed with heavy fines. By the way, our number is on the do not call list. But these job failure companies do not care about the do not call list, as they claim their robo dialers do not know who they are dialing. These people are not idiots, they can program the robo dialers to not call the people on the list!

This Upland phone is calling at least once every day, this is to a Do Not Call phone number that happens to also be a cell phone on no contract that cost me money every time they call.  There needs to be enforced do not call and turn off these bothersome calls.

They called at 12:51 pm - October 8th.

Their call was already blocked.

My Panasonic phone rings only 1/2 ring when a blocked call comes in.

I Got another annoying call but they knew my name this time. If it is a prank I want to know why they know who I am.

It did that to me as well and they keep calling. They don't recieve calls though
