they claim to be with the american law division... debt collectors! scary but my lawyer said stop talking to them.. give them nothing

this number has called many times, no messages left.

i had a phone cal from american law divsion too they said their is a law sued against me  and my ssn is under investication and her name was kelly smith and she had a india accent and at the end of the message i hear her laughing at that point i knew something is not right if it was that serious why you laugh i think i bring this to the authorities and hope they do something

Just got a call from these people on a work line.  they wanted the name and phone number of my lawyer.  I refused to give them any info till i was able to speak to their lawyer as soon as i said that they hung up.  Not sure what to do.

These guys are a scam. When you push them for information they hang up or curse you out. They try to get you to pay them to "represent" you in court. What a joke. Do not be intimidated by these Indian Douche Lords.

I received a phone call from American Law Division (903-461-7247) as well.  After being told that i owe on a payday loan that i never obtained and being threatened with a lawsuit and phone calls to  my employer and friends i inform him that to feel free to place a lawsuit with my state of North Carolina for failure to pay off a payday loan that i have never recieved since in my state payday loans are illegal.  the phone line was already fuzzing before i made this statement however it was surprising clear when he was threatening me.  Only got fuzzing when i started asking him information about the claim against me and information about his company which he refuse to tell me.  after i told him i was filing claim against this company with my attorney generals office the phone mysterically cut off.  i haven't recieved another phone call from them which they will usually calls right back when hung up on.  Let them know that you know your rights and they will be report them and then do so.  They court on your fear of legal action however they can be scared with true legal action themselves.

A man who does not speak English keeps calling my cell phone and my job telling me I owe money to someone.  I can never hear what he is saying and is constantly calling.  I would like someone to tell me how to report this.  It's getting to be harassment!

Company called my cell phone,left message from ph#909-581-8384,had thick middle-eastern accent,said his name was Victor Marshall,when I called back his name was Jefrey Morgan, and stated he was calling from a law firm. He said that I have three lawsuits against me for an unpaid loan from US Cash Loans. I asked him to give me more information regarding this, he said he can either hang up this call now and see me in court or I can pay the debt. I told him I have not received any notification of any lawsuits, he said they sent notices to an old email address. He also recited my current mailing address. It sounded like a call center in the background, and all he kept threatening was to take me to court if I didn't pay. When I told him I have not received written notice of any debt or lawsuit, he called me a liar saying I was telling him one thing when a reputable company has filed a lawsuit. I advised him that if there were any lawsuits I would have had to receive paperwork in the mail with Signature Confirmation for legal purposes, and that's when he got defensive about the legal process. It's obvious he was trying to get me to give in and be scared so he could get more information out of me, and i have seen other complaints from people through online searches of the same type, same M.O.

I received a very weird call from an even more strange number it was +520 something number and he left a message on my voice mail since I didn't answer saying I had a legal case against me and he stated the last 4 digits of my sos and left a 1-530-388-0840 number top call back on and I only did because he had my sos and it rang once and went busy twice then out of no where they call me immediately after the last try, which was weird. A man with a really hard Indian or musslum accent didnt know how to say my last name but knew my e-mail addy and my whole sos and said I had a payday loan that I had borrowed and was deposited into my account and nvr paid back. I dont have an account or borrowed any money and I told him this and he kept getting rude with me saying that "they will prove it in court". Told me to get an attorney and that we were going to court and told me his company was from Massachusetts and thats where court would be. He wouldnt give me specific dates for this loan or my account number or my bank. There sounded to be a few men but it might have been only 2 but 1 impersonated an officer and told me they sent an officer to my house but I wasnt home. He wouldn't tell me when or my address. He just told me it was 2010 that the loan was sent out and thats impossible with no bank account and me never applying for a loan anyway and thats when he started getting rude and repeating himself. Every time "they" supposedly put me on hold it sounded like sum one covered the phone or that sum one made a beep noise into the phone. Voices were made deeper or harder to understand when they would come back on the phone. Almost a week later I got another phone call from 1-213-537-3896 number with another indian male from a company call American Law Division and I automatically looked it up online to see if they were legit and abunch of scam info pages popped up and in 2 days they have called me from this number probobly 12-13 times. Its a scam a big ordeal that they sum how got my info from somewhere. Be very aware!

I have been recieving calls as well from various numbers saying I owe money for a pay day loan. Each time I was told a different year. I even has someone say that they were a lawyer and when i asked what amount of money they were talking about and the time supposedy borrowed, I was reprimanded that i would see them in court and was they ended the call be hanging up. The last number was 913-999-2468.

My room mate has been getting calls from this number for awhile.  Some guy, claiming to be Kevin Thompson, calling from American Legal Services, keeps calling saying that she took out a loan online and is being sued and will settle it for $8500 outside of court but then refuses to give her any numbers to contact the loan company or anything.  We have been to the police department and they say they can't do anything until they actually mail her information or try to get into her account.  We are going back now for phone harrassement charges and are going to change the number.

I received a phone call from a +7078954740 number saying I owed over $10k in an online payday loan, which I never took out.  He yelled & demanded I send them money, after asking 2 different people to put someone on the phone that spoke english & can speak clearly, they hung up.  Don't fall for it, fight them on it.  They think all americans are dumb!

I called American Law Division as a returned call to harassing calls from friends and family of mine.  A man answered the phone and when I asked for Ray Cooper (To whom I was returning the call)  it sounded like the same man answering the phone again.  I refused to give my information asking him what company this was, and wanting basic information from me first and he hung up on me.  I had to call again to get more information where he eventually hung up on me again.

The phone number I have is 707-895-4745.  From all the posts above I have noticed they all use very american names, and yet none them speak clear english.  This is for sure a scam even the name of the company is designed to scare you.

the last call i had with these scammers was about 3 months ago and i eagerly await for the next one cause i'd like to give them a little surprise. everyone stories and nightmares were just like mine but i didn't succombed to these idiots after i did a little homework about these fools. a little message to these b*****ds and scums " beware what is about to happen at the least expected time" . you fools think that you can prey on anyone without having to worry about being located and caught cause you've gotten away with it so far. well, as i said, ..........................

Same garbage from these scammers today. Calling and calling. At first came in with an "Unknown" number on my cell and I told them that I do not reply to "unknown" numbers on my cell. Then they called a colleague of mine as well as my work number! I am turning them over to the Feds for investigation, if possible. Anyone know how to stop them? By the way, mid-east or East Indian accents--can hardly understand them....

said that i needed to have my attorney on record call them.ndid not say how much was owed but i know they are scam.do not answer the call and do not give them any information.they are very dangerous people.

Trust me he will get really ugly and mean!!  I fired back at him today and I have turned all of this over to the authorities!!  I am in North Carolina so don't know what will go on!

I rec'd a call from "Mike Anderson" to call him at 707-474-3337 about a lawsuit I was "involved" in regarding fraud. I left a different number for a callback on the answering machine that picked up ( I probably should have researched first but of course I did the panic attack and called back to get all the information about what the heck was going on). My concern was that the "someone" who used my name and number about a financial fraud really did it.  I went online to reserach this company after the fact and found this information of fraud. Peachy. Well, if he calls back I know what to do now! Thank you everyone for posting this information to set me on the straight and narrow. I'll know better from now on.

i got the same thing from other people to saying he was allen o'conner from carlsmith ball in which is also a scam! if any one calles and sounds middle eastern they are more than likley a scam. they get your number from internet loan information.

I just called the FTC and filed a complaint with them!  He has been harrasing me all weekend!!!!  Even called my work this morning!!  And got really ugly!

Got a call from 925-659-3082. This guy tells me i have to go to court TOMORROW...i wont send any money at all to them

Ok so I have been scammed by these people because I have paid them money and yes I have now cancelled my card!!!  What are the next steps that I need to do becuase these people need to be brought to justice!!!  An indian sounding man named Nash Brown keeps calling me and he ask me to fax my information to Mike anderson and when I ask him to give me the name and number to the company he told me that I could not and then I tried to google the name of the supposed pay day loan company and it doesn't exsist!  Please someone help me figure out what to do!  He leaves a 714-408-4352 number to call him back on I have all the information in my purse plus he tells you to fax a notarized letter with all of my information that he needed including my bank card number to a certain fax number.  the only reason why I believed this is because I have received pay day loans via the internet but I was certain that I had paid them back!!!!  I can't believe that I fell for this someone please help me and guide me in the right direction of what to do!!  Also he keeps calling and calling.  He also called my home number today and was leaving a message for my best friend saying that I had used her name in fradulent activity and he needed to get in contact with me!  and  left the number.  He also said all of the same things about having me in court and he would have to talk to the creditors to see if I could make payments on this and then he tells me that he will call me back in about 30 mins!  I thought that it was all ok!  Oh well just someone help me!

I've been getting calls from a guy with a middle eastern accent name MIKE ANDERSON and can barely speak english. He said that he is with AMERICAN LAW DIVISION. He have been calling both me and my mother home phones from a unknown number and also from 707 474 3338. They r threating to sue me for $8,000 for a $300 loan. I found it funny when I heard all the noise in the back ground like a tele-market service that it wasn't a Law Firm. How do u get these people to stop calling your phones?
