Received a txt msg on my private cell phone seeking to lower my mortgage through "the new government HAMP program"  says for info to reply  w/"GOV" or to cancel reply "STOP".  I will do neither since I don't shop for mortgage rates via unsolicted txt msgs or phone calls and I will not reply STOP as I believe this simply confirms for them that they have a good cell phone number.. so i suppose I could block the number but these goobs likely have a whole batch of phone numbers they send messages from.  So, wish they could just be blasted off the earth...they are pond scum.
