I got a call from this numer 2 days ago, and yesterday a co-worker and my girlfriend got the same call. It's a recording claiming that the warranty on your car has expired SCAM!

Yep got the call last night now the cell telemarketers have got our #'s. It's bad enough I have to get them on my land line.The car warranty expiration call is nasty and a SCAM!

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, less than an hour after  a call from 909-527-2885. Didn't answer either one. Neither one left a message.

yep...the old "vehicle warranty" scam.  
According to 'reverse look up' these # came from these companies.
515-261-3738 (Qwest Corp in Des Moines, IA)
909-650-9120 (Digitcom Services San Bernadino, CA)

Been getting the same calls from this same number on work and cell numbers for months, even after choosing the option to be removed from their list AND even talking to one of them to be left off the list.

It's a scam, plain and simple.  The last (and newest ever) car i bought was a 1997 when it was 5 years old...

Started getting real po'd as the calls were pretty consistant.  So now i just have fun.

Today i told them my name was Jack Daniels, and i had a 1972 Mercedes 66L.  After some typing she said, "What car"
Me:  1972 Mercedes 533D.  
Her: Ok sir, what's your zipcode?  
Me: It's 8675309.  
Her: Sir, too many digits.  
Me: Ya, i know - when the hell yall gonna stop calling me?

Anyway, i intend to become more and more abnoxious and see how long i can string them along mostly for the fact I'm bored and it gives me something to do.

Also in Southern Cal. Received the call around 9:15AM. If I don't recognize a number I look it up online. Best to just not answer if you don't know who's calling. If it's important enough they'll leave a mssg.

I received a call from the same number 909-650-9133 but didn't get a chance to answer.  I received a call the other day about my car warranty expiring soon but this was from a 901 area code.  Who knows.

I received a call this morning at 9:10AM from 909-650-9133. I live in southern california. They called my cell phone, i ended the call, no message was left. I looked up their info: SUITE SERVICE SAN BERNARDINO CA 92401 (DIGITCOM SERVICES, INC.)
The number is not registered to a business but to a household. BEWARE!!!

I'm in Atlanta, GA. These guys called me twice this morning.

I *think* they got my number from buying something on an informercial. They have the last four digits of your credit card in their system so BE CAREFUL if you speak to them - they can sometimes be very believable!

Luckily I have a Call Reject feature in my phone. I have one address entry called W**kers and every time I get one of these calls I add the number to that entry.

I also registered on donotcall.gov. Once I've been registered 31 days I'll be sure to start using their reporting feature so that hopefully people who can do something about it can actually do something about it.

I'm from Kentucky. Just got a call from this number. I answered, but no one immediately began to talk so I hung up figuring it was a telemarketer.

They have moved on to the states. Got a call at 9:30 am here in Dallas, Texas, USA. I didn't answer but looked it up and glad I did.

Received call on my cell phone.  Answered, but a recording came up stating that my auto warranty is about to expire.  Funny since my car is about 15 years old (and still going!).  Don't know what company it is

Well guys, they have moved on to the United States.. Here in Rhode Island, 10am, Just got the call. I never answer numbers I don't know, just try reverse later. Did get a voice mail telling me about car warrenty also. Gotta love these people.

They keep calling and calling me.  I have no car in my name and the car I drive is way to old for a warrenty anyways.  I'm getting rather fed up

They are the most annoying people. I have had 3 calls from this number and several from other numbers alone. Anyone know how to contact/call back this number without getting charged long distance?

Gnarly. I am also an albertan and I too got a call from this number tonight. I answered, but i realized i was waiting for a recording to play, so i hung up.

Hey, this just happened to me now.

I looked up the area code, it's from California.

This is a new type of scam where they make money from long distance calls, so even when you're just picking up the phone they, in a way, drain money from you.

I've been thinking how they are able to actually profit from posting long distance phone calls, and I can't seem to get it, but I have glimpsed it on the Calgary news.

So yeah. They aren't really trying to scam you, but it does cost you long distance charges in the end. I would suggest never picking up an unknown (or foreign) area code without knowing someone from there, and expecting a call from them.

Most of the time it doesn't matter what you say into it, because it's usually a recording, and they don't really comprehend anything you're saying.

The following numbers keep calling my cell phone and my husbands cell phone.  We don't answer telephone numbers that we don't know.  After reading this site, I'm glad I didn't.  I will be reporting this to the R.C.M.P. Fraud Busters.

I had a call tonight - they told me my vehicle warranty was about to expire and I could renew it and to press "1" to talk to an agent. I did and the agent asked me my name "just to verify my information"???? WTF???? I said who did u call??? She said she could not release that information due to the privacy act??? Well????? Same here!!!! Since when can u not ask for a person u call by name?? being private?? I said get lost!!! She also had no idea what or if i had a vehicle.... beware of scams of anyone asking personal information!!!!

I also received a call from this # on my cell in Calgary at 7:30 PM.  Based on comments on this website, good thing I missed it.

I got the call too on my cell at 7pm, a "hang up" message was left.  Thanks for the info people!  My mother is a service manager at GM so I will ask her if she's heard anything.  I'm from Grande Prairie, Alberta.

This is total BS. It is an information seeking scam. they have no idea who there calling. Just probing for info . . . Dont tell them any thing!!

I recieved a call from this number, as well as another number both recordings about my car warranty about to expire.  They were both calls to my cell, did NOT answer.  Don't need a bill from California, thank you.

I have spoken with my dealership, THIS IS A SCAM!!!  My dealership informed me that they even they have been recieving these calls as well as other dealerships.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!

I just got this call a few minutes ago - on my Alberta cell - same thing, there was a message from a vehicle warranty and to press 1"now" - I hung up then.  In the last week I had another call, of which I also reported - and it was another number from California with a message that I had won some prize and to press 1.  This is weird, I wonder if this is all part of the same scam?  People, don't give them any info, they are trying to get personal information.  HANG UP or DONT ANSWER and then REPORT IT!!!
By the way - looked it up on reverse phone detective - it is located in San Bernadino CA and possible called "Suite Service"

Got a call from 909-650-9133 they told me the warranty was up on my car and needed to purchase more. I ask for their company name and he said "???? Car Warranty". He did not speak good English.But he did try to make it sound like our car warranty was through them and it was very important for us to purchase more extended warranty. I told him to call back tomorrow. In the mean time I called my car company and my actual car warranty company and they advised me this was a scam to get your bank or credit card info. So can't wait for him to call back!! Should be an interesting conversation. I will try to get more info on the company they represent. Stay tuned......
